"I take it you all aren't very popular, then," Glory commented.
|
"Certain kinds of whales are wary of us, since we resemble humans and they do not like humans. Humpback whales and sperm whales are the most aggressive. The friendliest towards us...blue whales." Léan seemed to know his stuff...even though he didn't live around his own kind to begin with.
|
"Interesting," Glory said as she snuggled with thim.
|
"I suppose it is," Léan replied, closing his eyes. Despite his denial of what it was, he loved to snuggle with her, from the looks of it. He was really a big teddy bear.
|
Glory grinned.
"I knew it, you do like cuddling," she teased gently. |
"It isn't cuddling," Léan grumbled, going pink. He didn't know what else to call it, but he would never admit that it was cuddling.
|
"Fine, snuggling then," Glory replied, resting her head on his shoulder. "Don't deny it, we're very clearly snuggling together."
|
Léan grumbled, but didn't retort. He knew there was really nothing he could say about it, since he was denying it in the first place.
|
Glory grinned a bit.
"You're cute when you pretend to be annoyed," she teased. |
Léan blinked, and then went pink. "Ah..." He fell silent, too embarrassed to speak. He seemed pleased by the compliment.
((Doing something with the family--replies will be delayed, but I'll still reply.)) |
((That's fine. seriously, you're on vacation, no need to justify to me.))
Glory gave him a kiss, still grinning. "And yet we're still not the most touchy-feely couple ever," she murmured to him. |
((Hehe, it's okay. :3 We're about ready to hit the hay here, anyway, so I'll have time to post.))
Léan's tail flicked back and forth beneath the blankets. "...You...are saying you want to be more touchy-feely?" he asked, puzzled and embarrassed. |
"I didn't say that," Glory replied. "I meant that I know you're not really into being touchy-feely, and neither am I, really. And yet we're still fine cuddling."
|
Léan closed his eyes, sighing softly. "I suppose...yes, I'm not touchy-feely...I am trying to adapt, thought it's not going too well. Only semi-well..."
|
"Don't worry about it," Glory replied. "Cuddling is just fine."
|
Léan nodded, seeming relieved by that. "All right...that feels better. I don't know how touchy-feely I can get, on my own, at least..."
|
"I don't mind just snuggling," Glory said. "Besides, you're comfortable."
|
Léan smiled, then purred softly. "I am...? I did not know that. Arcturus always claimed I was like a sack of bones--we shared a room."
((I got real bad sunburn today, and I'd better get to bed. I'll talk to you later! ^^)) |
((*teasing* you and your sunburns. I think you need SPF Over-9000 or something))
"He's also your brother," Glory pointed out. "I'm not. You and I fit together differently than you and he probably did." |
((I put SPF 85 on. And I still got burned. D: ))
"He always tossed around in his sleep. Hogged the blanket," Léan complained, as he reminisced. "I sleep like a rock when I'm tired. He, however, never fully settles." |
((Ouch. Try 100? I'm usually okay at like 45 or 50, but I also try not to go outside. I like my pale skin.))
"Yeah, I don't really move in my sleep much," Glory said. "I sleep too deeply for that." |
((I've tried almost all levels...I get burned, anyway. Worst is my ears and upper back.))
"Ah, same here, most of the time," Léan hummed, pleased. He yawned, softly. "Are they still gone? Or are they at the beach?" |
((that really sucks))
"No, I see them on the beach now," Glory said, glancing out the window. Her parents were in the shallows, cuddling much like she and Léan were. |
"Shall we call out and ask about her eyesight?" Léan asked, curiously. "I can always have my brother run and get some Abrium."
|
"They're both adults," Glory pointed out. "I doubt they need us to look after them."
