"It might be," Glory said, kissing him again.

Léan grinned, returning her kiss. "Do you want to go out and swim for a while?"

"That sounds like fun," Glory said, cuddling into his side.
|
Léan perked up, cheerily. "All right. Let's get going, then. I can show you the reef..."
|
"Sounds good," Glory said, standing up and stretching a bit. She grinned. "You're certainly in a good mood now."
|
Léan stole a glance at his father, who was attempting to sleep--exhausted from the struggle, no doubt. He began to snicker. "That's why. It is mean...but he deserves it..."
|
"Let's leave him be," Glory said. "Come on, let's head outside, maybe this time we can finally have some time to ourselves to relax."

Léan nodded, wondering if he should bother with the wheelchair. It couldn't move on the sand and got stuck, anyway...
|
Glory lifted him up gently, taking him out to the beach. She set him down carefully on the shore before undressing and following him.

Léan rolled easily into the water, ducking under at once. He simply laid on the sandy bottom for a long moment, relaxing.
|
Glory giggled and hugged him.
"I'm glad you're happier now," she said. |
"As am I..." Léan murmured, as he wrapped his arms around her. "Shall we go on our tour of the reef?"

"I think that's a good idea," Glory said. "You know, before our pet realizes we're out here and decides he wants to play."
|
Léan took her hand and quickly led the way out to sea. The shoreline became faint, until it was almost wholly invisible. The reef could be seen in the distance--it was bright, colorful, and very crowded.

Glory managed to keep pace with him, holding onto his hand. She could see the reef in the distance, since the colors were kind of hard to miss.
|
Léan noticed that the fish in the reef were a bit wary of them. Well...of her, since she smelled partially of human. He paid them no mind, and they soon calmed down. He pushed his way through some dense seaweed to enter the reef.

Glory followed him closely, not about to wander too far when she didn't know the area. She looked around in awe at the reef.
"Wow..." |
Léan swam around one of the tall stacks of coral, playfully. "So? Do you like it?" he asked, contently.
|
Glory grinned and went after him, hugging him playfully.
"I do like it," she said. |
"Good." Léan purred softly, returning her hug gently. He was hoping there weren't any aggressive sharks here that would get territorial. Or, even worse, rays.

Glory snuggled into his arms, happy.
|
Léan propelled them forward a bit as they hugged, so they could cuddle and explore the reef at the same time.
|
Glory stayed in his arms as they explored, tucking her hair back so it wouldn't get in the way too much.
"Remind me next time to make sure my hair is tied back," she murmured to him. |
"I will probably forget. But, I'll try to remember," Léan offered, amused.

"It just gets in the way," Glory said. Leaning up, she gave him a kiss. "I love you."
