Viktor didn't respond for a few minutes. He was busy hanging around with a bunch of his friends and irritating passerby.

Space Bags?

I don't own any. You're not helpful. Glory thought about it for a moment, and then sent the original question to Selena. Maybe she would have a different answer.

Selena's answer was much the same.

Maybe you should shove them in a plastic bag or something...like a Space Bag. Something that's airtight. My mom has two or three, if you need one.

I don't own any~ Glory replied. Ugh. Ignore me, I'm whining, I've been going back and forth between the beach and the house all day. If I had a Space bag, I would have to figure out a way to carry it so it doesn't slow me down too much.

Selena took a few minutes to think before she responded.

I can try to sew straps on one of them, to make it like a backpack. I'd need strong, waterproof thread, though.

I'll see what I can think of, Glory replied. I'll let you know. Thanks, though. Closing her phone, she leaned back against the wall.

There was suddenly splashing outside. It sounded like Léan had returned with some fish for Betelgeuse.

Glory looked out the window when she heard the splashing and saw him. Getting up, she went outside.

Léan was laying in the shallows, holding onto the tail of a large, bluish-colored fish that was struggling to get away. "I'm afraid he won't touch it unless it's alive," he apologized, softly.

"That's alright," Glory said. "I got a message from Arabella, so I'm just trying to figure out some logistics right now." She grinned a bit. "She got me the name, address, and phone number of that biologist guy."

"That's impressive," Léan commented, amused. He held the fish up out of the water--it wriggled, trying to escape. "Be careful. It bites."

Glory took the fish, making sure to hold it so it wouldn't bite her.

"Be right back, then," she said, then she went inside. Going up the ladder next to the tank, she slid the fish into the water. "Have at it," she commented. Then she went back outside.

Betelgeuse left the fish alone until Glory was outside and out of sight. He then shot out and attacked it in a primal way, with his teeth and nails--which were sharpened into claws.

Léan was waiting for her outside, a pleased look on his face.

Glory sat down on her rock.

"So, I know where we want to go," she said. "And I know approximately how far away it is, and in which direction."

"I'm assuming my father wants to tag along. Which means transportation by land is either out of the question, or will be difficult and full of his bitching the whole time," Léan mused, quietly.

He didn't like the idea of trying to transport his father along via land. The man hated land-based travel, and would get violent that much quicker if provoked--even inadvertently.

"We've already talked about it," Glory replied. "The land route is too long, anyways, and takes us too far from the shore. It's faster to just go in a straight line through the water. I just need to figure out how to keep a set of clothes dry for when we get there."

Léan nodded, understanding. "All right...and that is a problem...perhaps you could wrap them in...what is it called--plas...tic?" he suggested, scratching his head.

"That was the plan," Glory said. "I just have to figure out the right way to do it."

Léan nodded, knowing he couldn't help in that department. Plastic and its mechanics were a mystery to him--he only knew it as the substance that was most polluting the oceans...

"I'll figure something out," Glory said. "But I've got the information we need, now."

Léan sighed and nodded, fidgeting. "...I'd...rather not approach him myself about it. I...don't want to hear bad news..." He was assuming the worst, since he didn't want to be let down.

"You may have to actually trust me to go it alone on this one," Glory said. "If I can get myself in to look around, I should be able to at least find more information and get out again, if not more."

Léan nodded, chewing his lip. He didn't want her to get hurt doing this, but he couldn't help her...he wouldn't be able to take it if he found or saw something he didn't want to.

"You need to trust me," Glory said. "You know I can get into places you can't. I'll be okay." Leaning down, she gave him a kiss. "And I know this information is important to you."

Léan sighed, bowing his head slightly. "I just don't want you to get hurt or something..." he mumbled, quietly. "It would be my fault, for letting you go alone..."
