Léan glanced up at the fish, and idly reached up, to try and nab one with his good arm. They swam away from him rapidly, and a grumble started to build up in his throat, along with the occasional growl from his stomach.

"I'm guessing that's my cue to try, hm?" Glory said teasingly, giving him a kiss. "At least nobody else is around to see me make a fool of myself..." And hopefully, she hadn't just jinxed herself.

Léan couldn't help snickering. He remembered, vividly, the first time he had tried hunting by himself. He'd been a child, then...but he had failed terribly.

"Oh shut up," Glory said, blushing a bit. At least she knew she was going to make a fool of herself beforehand.

Léan snickered more, resting against one of the tall stacks of coral and sighing, looking up at the fish longingly. They were smart enough to know he couldn't move very quickly...

Glory studied the fish for a moment before drifting up towards them. They didn't scatter, though they gave her a bit of space. She let them get used to her for a moment before she dove at one. And missed.

"Damn it..."

Léan watched her in silence, ignoring the shark's pressing at him with its nose. He wanted to play. And, of course, Léan wouldn't--he was far too hungry at the moment, anyway.

Glory tried a few more times to catch one of the fish, without success. Finally, she managed to grab one and wrestle it into submission.

Léan watched her, curiously. She had gotten the hang of it much more quickly than he had, mostly because he would end having tantrums and just charging aimlessly at the fish.

"That was fun," Glory said, grinning, as she made sure the fish wasn't going to get away again any time soon. Once she was sure it wasn't moving, she went over and handed it to him.

Léan took it at once, nibbling on it. He had been so hungry, and he felt quite pathetic, not being able to hunt for himself right now. He was glad to be getting something in his belly.

Glory was rather proud of herself for being able to catch the fish, she hadn't been completely sure she could do it.

'Léan's tail flicked back and forth once he finished, and then he curled up with her, floating in the water with ease. "Thank you..."

Glory cuddled closer to him, giving him a kiss.

"You're welcome," she said.

Léan closed his eyes, and then promptly opened them again, noticing that the shark had stopped poking at him. He had turned around, and was moving from side to side slightly, scanning the reef.

Glory had noticed the shark's change in attitude as well.

"Strange..." she murmured as she sat up. "Maybe someone's coming?"

Léan peeked around, puzzled, and then shrugged. "I...don't know. I don't think anyone is coming...I don't smell anyone, for sure."

The shark shifted, and then began poking him again. A false alarm?

(("Alice! You're back!" lol, couldn't resist that one.))

Glory got up regardless.

"Whatever it was, it put our shark on guard," she pointed out. "Give me a second to just look around."

Léan peeked around, frowning, and reluctantly budged up, as well. The shark had stilled again. Suddenly, he began to drift off, lazily. Like he was looking for something.

Glory made her way around the reef, though she kept an eye on the shark, just in case. Something seemed a little off, somehow, though she couldn't put her finger on how.

The shark led the way, sniffing out something. He paused after a few minutes and turned a sharp corner, speeding down it. But...there weren't any sounds of attack. Instead, there were gurgling sounds of happiness.

Lleu had found their beach. He was in the middle of scratching the shark's stomach, and feeding him one of the fish he'd caught on the way here. He was probably here for many reasons--to check on Léan's injuries, and to see if Glory's parents were interested in moving to Utzi.

Glory followed, and couldn't help but grin when she saw what was going on.

"That really shouldn't surprise me by now," she commented.

"Hi," Lleu greeted, agreeably. The shark nudged at the small net of fish Lleu had, and Lleu opened it up, relinquishing his fish. He pulled back his net, though, not wanting it to be snatched away.

Léan was creeped out once more. He frowned.

"Should I ask what brings you all the way out here?" Glory asked. "Or did you just want to play with my pet?"

"You'd like the beach to be a little less crowded, yes?" Lleu reminded her, contently, as he watched the shark gobble up his fish.
