Léan had gone a little pink. "I suppose it was..." Purring while kissing was something only mates usually did. It wasn't clear why, but it was a sound of satisfaction...so that may explain things...

Glory noticed that he'd gone a bit pink, but resisted asking.

"We can talk about it later, once I'm home for the day," she said.

Léan nodded, glad to be off of the subject for now. Once they were inside, he sat down on the couch and patiently waited for her to fetch what she needed to take his measurements.

Once he was on the couch, Glory went outside to Viktor's car.

"Alright, we came to a compromise," she said to him. "Give me the measuring tape and tell me what measurements you need, and then you can go out and kill some time on the beach or something. Just, if you see anyone, try not to scare them too much."

Viktor listed off a bunch of different measurements, from his waist, to his chest, to his shoulders, to the length of his legs and arms. He wanted especially to know how tall he was, and his waist size. "I'll take a nap in here, if that's all right. I'm gettin' sleepy..." He yawned widely.

Glory nodded writing down what he asked for.

"Go ahead," she said. "Like I said, if you go out to the beach, don't scare anyone and don't provoke Sweetness." Taking the measuring tape and the list, she went back inside.

Léan was waiting for her. He had taken the time to study his new limbs and try to figure out just how they worked. So, he was scrutinizing them quite closely when Glory walked back inside.

Glory leaned against the door frame, watching him.

"Let me know when you're done," she teased.

A hot flush spread across Léan's face, and he pulled the towel back up over his legs. "I'm done," he muttered, scowling, like a child with his hand caught in the cookie jar.

"You know I'm just teasing you," Glory said as she went over and kissed him. "Now, stand up so I can take these measurements. The faster we can get this done, the faster I can be out and back to spend the rest of the day with you."

Léan returned her kiss, gently, and then slowly stood up. After a moment of balancing himself by holding onto one of the arms of the sofa, he was able to stand up completely. He had a slight slouch, since he wasn't used to the increased force of gravity upon him.

"Stand up straight," Glory said, nudging him a little. "I told you gravity works differently up here, it's something you get used to."

Léan grumbled, straightening his back out slowly. He had quite a bit of difficulty with this, but was finally able to stand up straight at his full height. He was nearly a head taller than she was, but didn't even get close to Viktor--a gargantuan.

"Ugh, you all make me feel so short," Glory commented as she started to take his measurements. "And I'm just above average height for a girl."

"I'm...sorry?" Léan apologized, puzzled. He tried to stay as still as possible so that she could properly take his measurements. He felt odd, seeing things on land from this height and angle.

"Ignore me, I'm just complaining," Glory said as she wrote down the numbers.

"All right..." Léan tilted his head slightly, watching her. Being small was something to complain about? It wasn't often the same for merpeople. Being smaller was often viewed as something that was very attractive.

"Being short is more of an inconvenience than anything else, up here," Glory explained. "Being tall is typically a good thing."

"I wouldn't necessarily say that..." Léan hummed, before shutting up. He didn't want to go through a list of what was attractive to his people, or anything of the sort.

"Well, you don't have to worry about it anyways," Glory pointed out as she finished taking the measurements. "Alright, all set."

Léan looked tired, from all the word he had been doing. Trying to learn proper English reading...walking a bit more...standing up straight for an extended period of time. "I think...I am going to take a nap..." he informed her, slowly lowering himself down onto the couch again.

"Then why don't we get you back outside?" Glory suggested. "You'll probably be more comfortable back in the water."

"With Morty and Lleu heating the water up not far away from here...? I think I would be better off in here," Léan admitted, pointedly. He scratched his head, wondering if it was worth it to head back into the water now. The thought of Morty and Lleu...doing something...seemed to turn him off to the idea.

"I see your point," Glory nodded. Going to the linnen closet, she grabbed the spare pillow and a blanket. "Here, then. Make yourself comfortable."

Léan took the offered pillow and blanket, shifting the couch pillows slightly so he would be as comfortable as possible. He curled up on the couch once he was set, pulling the blanket up around him. "Ah...all right. I should be fine..."
