Glory didn't notice herself purring softly as well as she drifted off to sleep. She slept soundly, snuggled close to him.

Léan slept for quite a while. When he finally began to stir, it was already quite sunny out. A nice day, though it was still cool. He stretched himself out, careful not to wake her.

Glory stirred enough to cuddle a bit closer to him, but was quickly asleep again. She had been tired, and was catching up on the sleep she missed before.
|
Léan made sure not to disturb her. He closed his eyes, deciding to stay rested until she had gotten enough sleep. He didn't want to leave her side.

Glory woke up on her own a little while later, snuggled comfortably with him.
"Morning," she murmured to him. |
"Possibly afternoon," Léan replied, gently pressing their heads together. "Did you sleep well?"

"I did," Glory replied, cuddling with him. "What about you?"
|
"Same for me," Léan purred, gently. He seemed to just love the constant contact, and the fact that they had time to kill now. Idly, he wondered if Viktor was regretting taking all of her homework.

"I'm glad you slept well, then," Glory said. She was enjoying the contact as well, and she was too comfortable to want to get up yet. |
"...So...what do you want to do, now?" Léan finally piped up, after a few long minutes of blissful silence. He didn't feel like moving, either.

"I might start trying to get you to talk about what you were thinking about last night," Glory suggested in a not-so-subtle hint.

Immediately, color swept to Léan's face. "I, erm...I-I don't think that is such a good idea..." he murmured, shyly.

"And yet you won't tell me why," Glory pointed out. "You know I don't like it when you don't talk to me..." Okay, she was whining a little, but it was still true.

"And you know how I am when it comes to things I find embarrassing. I clam up, and can't talk..." Léan whined right back to her. He was whining quite obviously...and didn't even try to hide it.

"Please talk to me?" Glory asked. She didn't want to have to go outside and potentially interrupt something, but she wanted to know what had him so preoccupied.

Léan frowned, shifting uncomfortably. "...I...don't think I can do it," he informed her, pulling the blankets up over his head. A childish move...somewhat adorable to see.

"Try," Glory said gently, pulling the blankets back again. "I mean, really, what are you so afraid of?"
|
"It's not that I'm afraid. I just...have issues talking about embarrassing things," Léan chuckled, nervously. He was being completely honest...it was an irrational sort of discomfort.

"If it's enough to keep you from sleeping for a while..." Glory trailed off. She wanted to know what was bothering him, and it was becoming increasingly obvious that he wasn't going to talk.

Léan could feel an uncomfortable silence coming on. He felt guilty for bringing the discomfort on. Just as he was about to apologize--but he was still afraid to talk about it--there were the sounds of splashing outside. He sat up slightly and craned his neck. All he needed to see was a bright flash of white for him to know who it was.

"I wonder if a tinfoil helemt would work," Glory muttered to herself as she looked out the window as well. Reaching over, she slid it open.

"What would that do?" Léan looked very confused. He was still a little slow when it came to human phrases and sayings.
Lleu motioned for her to come outside. He didn't want to yell something embarrassing to her. |
"Hm?" Glory blinked. Then she figured out what he was talking about. "Oh. It's an old science-fiction thing, supposedly a hat made of 'lead', usually it was really just tinfoil, would be enough to stop any mindreading and other such things." Sighing, she got up. "And apparently I'm heading outside now. Did you want to come with me, or stay here?"

"Oh." Léan still looked a little confused--why would simple metal block out mind-reading? "I...had better stay here. In case I break and won't let him say anything..."

Glory opened her mouth to protest, but then thought better about it. He was probably right. "If you're sure... Leave the window open, though, alright?" At least that way, he wouldn't be completely cut out of the conversation. Getting up, she gave him a kiss and then headed outside. She automatically made her way to her favorite rock and sat down.
