"Since I'm the one with the extra passengers and you're not, you get to bend down rather than making me get up," Glory teased back. She leaned up as best she could and gave him a kiss, purring softly.

Léan gently responded to her kiss, half-bent over. At least he was in a good mood for today. Usually he was all kinds of pissy in the morning.

Glory noticed he was in a good mood, but didn't comment on it. She was just glad he wasn't annoyed or angry at anything. She laid a hand on her stomach as the twins started moving, but otherwise she didn't react to it.

Léan's idle thoughts were interrupted by the sound of the oven. Not knowing what to do with the oven, he simply offered her a hand to help her up.

Glory gratefully accepted the help up, and went over to the oven to check the corn bread. When she saw it was done, she carefully took it out with a pair of pot-holders and set it on top of the oven to cool.
"Don't touch it yet," she warned him as she turned the oven off. "It's still too hot." |
Léan nodded, amused. "I'm not going to touch it...I can wait..." The mere smell of the food, however, was causing his stomach to rebel against him...it needed food.

Glory's stomach was complaining as well, but she was confident that she could ignore it long enough to let the corn bread cool.

Léan leaned back against the counter again, closing his eyes. He was feeling a little off today, probably because he was so hungry. He was in a good mood, but something in the air seemed to be nagging at him.

Glory noticed his posture changing, and recognized the signs of something bothering him.
"Is something wrong?" she asked softly. "Talk to me." |
"Don't know," Léan replied, gruffly. "Something just feels off...not quite sure what it is..."

"Something is off how?" Glory asked. She hated it when he was on edge about something, because it made her nervous as well. "When you figure it out, please tell me. You know I hate to be in the dark."

"I will...I'm just not sure what it is, yet." Oftentimes Léan would get all worked up about something that wasn't important...but sometimes, it was.

"If you figure out what it is, let me know," Glory replied. She hated to be in the dark about things. Testing the corn bread, she decided it was cool enough and cut it into squares and took a piece for herself.

Léan nabbed a piece as well and began to nibble on it. He hated it when he got odd feelings from...something. It made him quite nervous...

Glory noticed how nervous he was, and it set her on edge as well.
"Relax," she murmured to him. She didn't like how tense he was getting. |
Léan sighed, and just concentrated on eating. He hated it when he didn't know what was bothering him.

"Would it make you feel better if we went back outside?" Glory asked after a moment. He was still tense, and it was setting her more on edge.
|
Léan shook his head, absently. "No...it's fine. I'm all right...no need to worry." Léan would figure out what was bothering him soon enough.

"Are you sure?" Glory asked. "You know how you get when something is bothering you..." She didn't want him to close up on her again.

Léan nodded, firmly. "I'll be fine. If I don't figure out what feels weird, then I know Lleu will. You know how he is..."

"Alright..." Glory replied reluctantly. Cravings satisfied for the moment, she was content to spend time with him.

"...Perhaps we should do something today that gets us away from here?" Léan suggested, hoping to get out of the oddly tense atmosphere.

"Did you have anything in mind?" Glory asked. It was winter, so there wasn't all that much around to do aside from shopping and other similar things.

"I don't know the human world as well as you do..." Léan reminded her, amused. "How about something different? It may take a bit of travel, perhaps, to find such a place...but it would make for a nice day out..."

"I'm not sure what we would be able to do..." Glory replied slowly, thinking. "I mean, I wouldn't mind going ice skating, but I'm not all that good at it, and I can't risk falling and hurting the twins..."
