"How did you sleep?" Glory asked softly. Autumn started stirring when her father moved away, since he had been her main source of comfort and warmth during her nap, and she fussed a little before calming down and looking around.

Léan stretched himself out a little more, yawning widely. "Fine..." he murmured, rubbing at his eyes. "I didn't roll over and crush her, did I...?" he added, the lack of confidence crippling to any who heard him speak.

"Not at all," Glory replied. "She's perfectly fine, look." She gestured to Autumn, who was looking around with curious eyes, probably for her brother or cousin.

Léan sighed, looking very relieved. He had actually believed that he might have hurt her while they were sleeping.

Glory moved over and set Orion down next to Autumn. Autumn immediately cuddled closer to her brother. Things just weren't quite right when the two were separated.

Orion grumbled a bit at being moved. He apparently didn't like being moved around when he had just gotten comfortable. But he did cuddle closer to Autumn.

Glory went over to cuddle with Léan.

"I think Autumn enjoyed her nap with you," she said softly.

"Mm-hm." This was spoken rather gruffly. It seemed that Léan might have actually been feeling a little embarrassed about that...

Glory gave him a kiss and cuddled closer to him.

"I'm glad you're getting a bit more comfortable with the children," she said softly.

Léan rested his head on her shoulder, muttering something that sounded like 'I'm still a panicky wretch.'

"You were only panicking when you woke up," Glory pointed out. "You were relaxed enough before that to fall asleep."

"I suppose so..." Léan seemed to be skeptical about that...he had just wanted to sleep and avoid everything around him. He didn't want to have to deal with the thoughts running through his head--his worries and such.

Glory cuddled closer to him.

"You have nothing to worry about," she said. "Although I'm sure Autumn wouldn't mind napping with her dad every once in a while... She seemed to enjoy it this time."

Léan appeared to be quite unsure of that idea. He wasn't upset, like he would have gotten at an earlier date perhaps, but he was wary...

"It won't be all the time," Glory pointed out. "Just maybe once in a while."

For now, though, Autumn was perfectly happy cuddling with her brother. She had a good nap, so she was wide awake and cheerful.

Orion was still sleepy and in a cranky mood. So, he was very still and had his eyes closed.

Léan nodded idly, reaching up to scratch his head a bit absently. "...I am thinking that one of us should go and check on my brother and Damon..."

"I think you should be the one to do that," Glory said. "I mean, I don't think I should go, since that would mean leaving you here in charge of the children." And that seemed like a bad idea, all things considered. Having him interact with one child at a time was one thing. Leaving him to take care of the twins and Eden all at once was another thing entirely.

Léan sighed, bowing his head slightly. "I don't know which scenario would be worse for me. I don't particularly want Arcturus clinging to me and whining about his issues..."

"I also don't know where they are," Glory pointed out. "I can stay and look after the children. You go and check on your brother."

"I don't know where they are, either," Léan admitted, looking embarrassed about that. "Perhaps we should just leave them alone for now. If Arcturus or Damon need one of us, they will find us somehow."

"Your brother does have a knack for finding you," Glory agreed. "We'll see if he finds us. If nothing else, you can look around for him in a little while."

"I can search the area," Léan suggested, looking thoughtful. "A quick look and listen around will tell me if Arcturus is near. He can't keep his mouth shut for very long, after all."

"Go ahead," Glory said. "I can keep an eye on the children while you're out."

Léan nodded and slowly lifted himself out of their little bed. He made his way to the front of the cave and slid out to patrol the area. He wouldn't be gone long, as long as he didn't hear his brother anywhere close...

Glory moved so that she could keep an eye on the children more easily, and they would be within reach if they started fussing.
