Léan grabbed some of his pajamas, as well, and slid into bed beside her. He stretched himself out before settling down.

Glory snuggled closer to him and gave him a kiss.
"You seem like you're in a good mood," she commented. She rested he head on his shoulder softly. |
Léan nodded, idly wrapping his arms around her and preparing to relax for a few hours. "I am, I guess. I'm not feeling moody...that's a start."

"You should relax more, it's good for you," Glory replied. She cuddled as close to him as she could. "Even your son was letting himself have fun for a little bit."

Léan closed his eyes, resting their foreheads together. "I have a hard time letting loose and relaxing," he reminded her, softly.

"I know," Glory replied. She grinned and added teasingly, "We need to work on that."
|
"How could we possibly work on that?" Léan retorted, arching an eyebrow warily. He couldn't think of a single thing they could do to work on his 'never-having-fun' issues.

"I was teasing you," Glory replied, giving him a kiss. "I know how you are by now." She snuggled closer to him.

Léan let out a relieved breath, closing his eyes and lazily wrapping an arm around her to tug her closer. "Good...I doubt I'll be able to change much, anyway..."

Glory cuddled into his embrace, enjoying the affection.
"That's alright," she said. Softer, she added, "I love you." |
Léan seemed relieved by her words. He didn't want to have to make a drastic change to himself...that might change him in a deeper way. "I love you, too..." His words were just as soft, but hesitant, of course. He still had trouble with his emotions.

Glory snuggled with him. She didn't expect him to change himself in any drastic way. She was fine with him as he was. She'd like it if he got more comfortable around the children, but that would just take time.

Léan curled up a little more tightly, prepared for rest. He wasn't looking forward to having to possibly wake up in the next two hours, though...because of the twins.

Glory settled in as well, already having resigned herself to getting up in a couple hours to take care of the twins. She was really looking forward to the time when they would sleep through the night, and allow her a full night's rest.

Léan was, as well. He knew that if she got up, he would get up as well. He grew even crankier if he did not get a good night's sleep, so it was probably the reason why he had been acting so cold lately.

Glory laid her head on his shoulder and drifted off into a light sleep. She didn't expect him to get up with her when the twins woke her up, so she stayed relatively close to the door so she could get up without bothering him.

It took nearly three hours for one of them to make a fuss. As usual, it was Orion who woke first and who started to cry. He cried more when he was on land than in the water.

The fussing woke Glory, and she quietly slipped out of bed to go and take care of it. Going into the nursery, she gently picked up Orion and sat down in the rocking chair.

Léan, thankfully, did not stir when she got out of bed. He seemed to notice, somehow, that she was gone after a few minutes and he curled up tighter to keep himself warm.

Glory held Orion close and rocked him gently, trying to calm him down. She hummed softly as she held him.

((Hey, I'm heading to bed.))
Orion eventually settled down, but his lips were pursed with annoyance. He didn't care for being on land. |
"I know you don't like it up here," Glory murmured softly. "Your sister doesn't mind, but your father doesn't like it up here much either. I just can't stay down there all the time, though..." She wasn't thinking about how strange it must be for her to be taking to an infant. Mostly, she was just talking to him to calm him down.

Orion didn't seem to understand a thing she said. He decided to amuse himself by mimicking her facial expressions as she spoke, though. Once she finished talking, he pouted again.

When Glory noticed he was mimicking her expressions, she couldn't help but smile and kiss his forehead gently.
"So you do have a sense of humor in there somewhere," she murmured. |
Orion whined when she leaned down and kissed his forehead, attempting to swat at her but failing miserably because he didn't have enough arm strength to do so.
