Glory rocked him gently until he calmed down again. She was content to hold him for a while, but she would probably put him back into his crib in a few minutes so she could take care of Autumn.

Orion was calmed after just a few moments, and he settled down to sleep in her arms. He was now tired and just wanted to sleep.

Once he was asleep, Glory gently laid him down in his crib next to his stuffed animal. Then she picked up Autumn and sat down in the rocking chair with her. Autumn was still asleep for the moment, but she could wake up any time and want attention.

Orion seemed to enjoy the stuffed animal...trying to beat it up, that is. He didn't have the strength to do much of anything with it other than pat at it and smile, but he would probably throw it around gleefully once he grew older and stronger.

When Autumn woke up and started fussing, Glory held her close and rocked her gently before letting her start nursing. Autumn immediatey quieted down, content.

Léan, thankfully, did not wake up. He seemed quite beat, like he just needed to sleep. Orion fell asleep after a bit, as well, and stopped trying to beat on his toy.

Once Autumn was finished, Glory held her for a while until the infant fell asleep again. Once Autumn was asleep, Glory put her into her crib, and then went back into her own room to snuggle back into bed.

Léan was mumbling softly in his sleep. It sounded almost as if he was having a conversation with someone in his dream. He didn't stir, but he continued to talk in his sleep.

Glory snuggled in next to him quietly and tried to make out what he was saying. He was mumbling, and it was all sort of blurring together.

Léan finally stopped a few minutes after Glory returned, and he looked somewhat...pained. He spoke again after a few seconds. "...Mm. Don't look at me like that...like...you're guilty..." he muttered, under his breath.

Glory was oddly fascinated, and wasn't sure whether or not to wake him up. After a moment, though, she gently nudged him.

Léan groaned, his mysterious dream interrupted, and he swatted half-heartedly at her. "What is it...?" he managed, in a soft, weary croak.

"What were you dreaming about?" Glory asked softly. "You were taking in your sleet, but it made no sense out of context."

Léan lifted his head slightly, blinking, and he seemed lost in hazy thought. Realization came to him after a moment and he cleared his throat, suddenly all business. "Something unpleasant."

"I gathered that," Glory replied. "Like I said, you were talking." She snuggled closer to him. "Tell me about it?"

"What did I say?" Obviously, Léan was going to try to mince his 'telling her about it' as much as he possibly could. He hated talking about his past.

"Something about someone being guilty," Glory replied. "Like I said, it makes no sense out of context." She cuddled with him.

Léan absently draped one of his arms over her, for comfort reasons. "That 'someone' would be my brother..." he said, simply. "Seeing as I took the brunt of the abuse at home, he often felt guilty."

Glory was actually kind of surprised that he said anything. He usually shut himself up tight about such things. She snuggled closer into the embrace.

"It's in the past now," she said softly.

"Still..." Léan chewed his lip. "...That still hangs over his head." He fell silent after that and copied her cuddling, intending to fall back asleep.

Glory leaned up and gave him a soft kiss.

"Go on back to sleep," she said. "Maybe you'll sleep better this time."

Léan sighed and nodded, settling down again. He seemed to feel more secure about sleeping this time and was quick to drift off. He didn't speak in his sleep again.

Glory dozed for a little while, not falling completely asleep. She was comfortable, though, and gradually drifted into a deeper sleep than she started in.

Léan did not sleep for long. When he did wake up, he didn't want to move. His stomach wanted him to move, though, and it growled persistently at him.

Glory didn't wake up when he did. She was exhausted, and she really needed the sleep. She probably wouldn't wake up if he moved her at all.
