"Alright," Glory said. "I have something I can wear, I'm sure. I'll be there around five or so, and you can decide whether or not to keep me around then."

"Fair enough," Viktor replied, agreeably. "Be prepared to clear tables. New employees spend the first two weeks clearing tables before they're considered eligible to wait on people, as well as clear tables...if you seem to be a hard worker, they'll promote you a little more quickly, though..."

"That's fine with me," Glory replied. "I bet it gives the fresh meat employees a chance to get used to the place, so it's a good idea."

"Yeah, I guess..." Viktor agreed, nodding. He waited on people most of the time. "Getting a feel for the place is good..." He jumped a bit when the bell rang and shoved his phone into his pocket. "Better get going..."

"I'll see you later, then," Glory replied, setting her work aside for later. She gathered her things and followed him out of the classroom.

The rest of her day seemed boring in comparison, and she realized how much she enjoyed shop class, if only because it gave her someone to talk to who she didn't have to dumb herself down for. When she got out to her car, though, she sighed. There was a long scratch going all the way down one side.

Wonderful.

Viktor was parked a few spots away, and he noticed. Idly, he popped his trunk and dug around for his scratch remover. He strolled over and handed it to her. "There you go. Should take it off in a jiffy..."

"Thanks," Glory replied. "Do you mind if I give it back to you tonight? I need to get home and do my homework before tonight."

Viktor paused, then waved it off. "Nah, keep it. If Selena doesn't like you, you'll probably be needing it more than I do..." He cleared his throat. "I'll see you tonight, then...later." He trudged back over to his car.

"Thanks, then," Glory replied, putting the scratch remover into her car. She would deal with the scratch later, when she had time. Getting into her car, she made her way home quickly. She had about two hours before she had to be at the restaurant, and she intended to make use of that time.

"I'm home," she called as she went into the house. She dropped her bag by the door and slipped her shoes off, already starting to relax.

Léan, who was awake and currently being utterly confused by the Discovery Channel, perked up at once, tail swishing back and forth happily. He had slept and watched TV almost all day, seeing as he was stuck on the couch. It had been a good, relaxing day away from Archie and his annoying actions. He had been lonely, however. "Welcome home...how did it go?"

"She keyed my car," Glory replied, "but elsewise my day was fine." She sat down on the couch. "Ooh, Discovery Channel. Anything good on? Wild Pacific is always good to watch, and I'm a bit partial to Dirty Jobs."

Léan stared, not seeming to understand what she meant by 'keyed my car.' But, he nodded at the TV. "I was watching Wild Pacific...they have most of their facts right. But not all of them."

"She keyed my car, which means she took a key of some sort, maybe a house key or something, and dragged it on the side of my car," Glory explained. "Scratched it all to hell." Picking up the remote, she pulled up the guide and checked the listings. "Hm... Blue Planet is on next... And then Planet Earth. They must be running a marathon of the series."

Léan watched the television operate with curiosity. Despite how he had acted the last time he'd been in her home, he seemed perfectly comfortable now. He did look terribly out of place because of his tail, though--otherwise, he'd look like a normal teenage boy.

"You might like Blue Planet," Glory said as she handed him the remote, "if only because you might findit amusing. I have about two hours before I have to leave again, so let me know if you want to head back outside at all."

Léan paused. "...Well...I don't know. Has Arcturus calmed down, yet?" he asked, curiously. "If he has, I may consider it..." He absolutely did not want to deal with Archie's bad behavior again...

"I haven't been out there," Glory reminded him, "so I have no idea. You may just have to take the chance. Besides, you just need to tell him to back off."

Léan sighed, tailfin curling a bit. "I've tried...so many times. He doesn't take me seriously..." he murmured, sounding tired again. "I think I had better stay in here...maybe until he starts calling for me to go back out..."

"He does technically have an excuse to be excited this time," Glory pointed out. "But you're probably right. I still think he'll learn, eventually. He has to grow up sometime."

Léan groaned, plopping his head down on one of the couch pillows. "Yes, but he doesn't need to hang on me...why can't he go hang on Damon?" He hated being the 'grown-up' twin. It always meant Archie saw him as someone that needed to loosen up and have fun 24/7. And that was definitely not Léan.

"Think about it for a moment and then ask again," Glory said. "Honestly. I really doubt he wants to rough-house with Damon right now. You're his next-best bet as someone to wrestle with."

Léan grunted half-heartedly. "He can go wrestle with an imaginary friend, or a giant pile of seaweed...I'd rather be left to my own devices...I hate being hung on, really. I love him, but he needs to find a hobby..."

"Like you have a hobby?" Glory pointed out dryly. "Besides," she teased, grinning, "you didn't seem to mind when I hung on you."

Léan went a little pink. "My hobby is human-watching. And I'm doing a perfectly fine job of that," he muttered, pointedly. "You don't want to pounce on me and roughhouse, though. He does..."

"Now you're just splitting hairs," Glory accused teasingly. Leaning over, she hugged him to prove her point. She grinned when he didn't push her off.
