"Oh, yes. Its much better." Ben assured her as he stuck his wallet into his back pocket and grabbed his keys before leading Lora out of the apartment and into the hallway where he led her to the elevator. "You're going to love it, I promise." He assured her as he waited for the elevator to reach their floor.

"And if I don't? How will you make it up to me for feeding me such falsehoods?" Lorabelle asked teasingly as she clasped her hands behind her back and looked up at Ben with a grin.

Ben smiled at Lora's coyness, something he could get used to. "Then I'll feel obliged to make you the most delicous meal of your life." He said happily as the elevator dinged before opening up, Ben leading Lora inside by putting a chase hand on the lower part of her back and pressed the button to the lobby.

"I'll take you up on that promise," Lorabelle giggled as she looked around the moving box. "What do these do?" Lorabelle asked as she started pressing random buttons on the elevator, giggling every time one lit up.

"That makes the elevator stop at each floor." Ben said as his hand covered Lora's as the elevator stopped at the next floor with nobody waiting in the hallway.

"Oh," Lorabelle said with a blush, noticing that the next six floors were highlighted, "I guess it was a bad idea to press them and make them pretty then, huh."

"Maybe but it won't be that bad." Ben assured her as the elevator doors closed only to open again on the next floor. "You did make them look pretty though." Ben said with a small smile.

Lorabelle blushed an even darker shade of red as she looked at the floor, "You're just being nice.. I know how stupid that must sound.."

"I'm not just being nice." Ben said as he reached out to give her shoulder a pat, the elevator continuing to stop on every floor. "You're curious and that's perfectly fine with me." He assured her as the elevator paused on the floor above the lobby. "See? Almost there." He grinned.

Lorabelle smiled as she looked up at Ben and kissed his cheek, "Thank you." Looping her arms through his, Lorabelle innocently placed her head upon his shoulder, happy that he wasn't angry with her for pressing the buttons on the moving box's wall.

Ben blushed at Lora's closeness and kiss to his cheek as he led her off the elevator and into the lobby and into the streets again. "Its up this way some." Ben informed her as he led her down the sidewalk towards the pizza shop. More people were out now which created a bustle on the streets and caused Ben to pull Lora closer to him so she wouldn't get lost.

"Ben, what if your friends find me stranger than Gina and Jack did.." Lorabelle whispered softly as she looked up at Ben, resting her chin upon his arm, "I promise, I'll try not to get excited and say something silly."

"I don't want you to be anything but yourself." Ben said softly as they reached the pizza place. "I'm just hoping you won't find my friends strange." He teased before leading her inside the crowded retaurant and to a back corner where a few of his friends sat.

"Ben!" One of them called as he stood up and walked over to them. "And friend." He said, grinning wickedly at Lora. "I'm Kevin." He said as he put out a hand for her to shake.

Mirroring his movement, not sure what he was doing with his hand, Lorabelle laughed at the whole scenario, finding it frightfully funny to be randomly holding her hand out in a salute, as she introduced herself, "My name is Lora, 'tis a pleasure to meet you."

"The pleasure is mine." Kevin said with a wide grin, still holding Lora's hand.

"Alright sit down." Ben laughed as he pushed Kevin away and led Lora over to the side of the booth. "Lora this is Greg, Jessica, and Kevin." Ben explained as he fanned his hand out to introduce his friends. "And this is Lora." He said with a smile at his friends.

"Nice to meet you, Lora." Jessica said with a warm smile. "I haven't seen you before. Where are you from?"

Lorabelle blushed a deep scarlet as Jessica asked where she was from. "I.. I.." Lorabelle stammered softly as she tried to think of a place in the world that she had heard of. However, all she knew was this city.. She didn't know anything else but her home, and if she mentioned her home, she would embarrass Ben for certain. "I.. I come from... Umm.."

"She's from Nevada." Ben said with a smooth smile.

"Oh, have you been to Las Vegas?" Jessica asked excitedly.

"Nevada doesn't just have Vegas in it Jessica." Ben reminded her, teasing a bit as the waiter came over and set down a round of waters along with a large pepproni pizza. "You're going to love this." Ben smiled subtly into Lora's ear as he placed a slice of pizza on her plate before taking one of his own.

"Thank you," Lorabelle blushed with a warm smile as she looked up at Ben, meaning the words in more ways than one. She was lost before, and he had come to her rescue once again. He didn't have to, but he did, and she liked him even more for it. Taking a bite of the pizza, watching how the others did it, Lorabelle's eyes lit up as a grin swept across her lips. Looking up at Ben, Lorabelle giggled as she silently conveyed her happiness over the food, taking another bit shortly after.

"I told you." Ben teased as he bit into his own pizza before turning back to his friends.

"Secrets don't make friends." Greg laughed at the two across the booth from him.

"Oh back off Greg, its none of your business anyways." Jessica laughed before turning to Lora. "Has Ben shown you the school yet? He's always there." She teased with a wink at Ben.

Lorabelle nodded as she set down the slice of pizza, what was left of it, and took a sip of her water. "Yes, he showed me the fountain. It's truly spectacular, I have never seen something so beautiful in all my life. Do you go to school with Ben?"

"Yeah we all do." Jessica smiled.

"Thank God we do. He saved my grade in Writing." Greg said, shaking his head.

"And if you had any brains he wouldn't have had to." Kevin said with an eye roll.

"I only tutored a little bit." Ben insisted as he took another bite of pizza.

"Well tonight isn't about you anyways." Jessica teased before turning to Lora. "I'm glad you like the fountain it really is gorgeous. Did you get to see the library?"

"Wow Jessica, don't interrogate her." Ben said.

"No.. I don't think so," Lorabelle said softly as she looked up at Ben, not having the slightest clue what she was talking about, "Did we go to the... library.. on campus?"

"No I didn't show her that." Ben explained with a smile. "It was getting late so I brought her back to the apartment." He said as he shot Lora a reassuring smile. "Maybe next time." He said before taking a drink of water.

Smiling, Lorabelle finished her pizza before taking a sip of her water. Lorabelle was a bit saddened by the fact that she liked the pizza, she was very much looking forwards to Ben cooking her something delicious. But, the good part was that she had found yet another Earth food that she enjoyed immensely.

"Oh, Lora! You should try the mozzerella sticks here." Jessica encouraged as she called over the waitress and asked for an order of the cheese sticks for the table. "They're delicious. Have you ever had them before?" She asked curiously.
