"I'm sure she will." Ben laughed. "Anna loves everyone and everyone loves Anna. Mostly because she can drink them all under the table." He teased as he put his hands over Lora's, leading them to his shoulders before his own hands wrapped around to her lower back. A slower song began to play over the speakers and the rest of the dance floor shifted as people began pairing off, others leaving to order another drink.

"I do hope so.. I would like to have at least one friend who does not find me rather odd. Perhaps then you will not have to take so much time away from your studies and work in order to keep me out of trouble and teach me about this world," Lorabelle said with a smile before placing a tender kiss upon Ben's lips.

Ben smiled into Lora's lips as he pulled her gently closer and gave her a soft kiss before resting his forehead on her's. "I think it'd be great if you made some friends. Despite how much I hate to admit I know I can be boring at times." Ben laughed softly.

Lorabelle laughed as she shook her head lightly, "Not at all! But I am sure even you need a break from my constant inquiries and confusions."

"It's alright, Lora. Really." Ben grinned happily as he continued to dance to the music until one of his college buddies appeared with two drinks in hand.

"Think you were coming out and not drinking?" The brunette boy asked with a laugh, the song dying down and picking up into another fast dance.

"Not tonight, man. Thanks." Ben said politely, shaking his head.

"Why is it everyone wants everyone to drink this alcohol you told me about? Is it a rule that you must drink when others do, or that when you go out you must drink?" Lorabelle asked with confusion as the brunette boy shrugged and left the couple.

"When people drinnk they like to drink together. Though considering this is your first time out it would be a bad idea for me to get drunk." Ben shook his head as he led Lora off the dance floor and back to the booth where Anna was entertaining a group of people with one of her stories.

"And then the horse just took off!" She roared happily, her arms spread wide. "He was flying and I had never ridden one in my life but I certainly learned fast." She joked.

Lorabelle frowned at the story they had walked into. Turning to Ben, Lorabelle whispered sadly in his ear, "Do humans truly try to tame and ride horses? How can they consciously do such a thing and destroy such a beautiful animals will power? The more and more I am a part of your world, the more and more I do not understand the human perception in regards to nature and animals and so many things.."

"Yes, people ride horses but they're not cruel to them." Ben murmured in Lora's ear. "People are very patient with horses and some places take care of horses because its therpy to humans to connect with an animal." He explained. "I know this world is confusing." He soothed as he gave her a small, one-armed hug.

Lorabelle hid her frown, but inside she was still upset about it. They may be gentle and patient, and they may be used for human purposes, but it still was the same as if they were cruel to them. The spirits were broken, they were no longer free. They were tamed and pets of humans, not wild and of their own will. Lorabelle truly hated how humans treated the Earth and its creatures. It was one of the downsides of now being human, she was forced to see how horrible this world truly was.

Feeling her stomach rumble, Lorabelle ignored it with a blush as she looked up at Ben, "Do they have anything without that alcohol in it to drink here?"

"Of course." Ben nodded as he led her to the bar.

"What can I get you two?" The bartender asked as he walked up towards Ben and Lora. "I have a full bar here, anything you like."

"N/A strawberry daquiri for Lora and I'll have a club soda." Ben said, the bartender nodded as he mixed their drinks and set it out on the bar for them. "Thank you." Ben smiled as he handed over some money and handed the pink drink to Lora before taking his soda.

Lorabelle looked at the drink curiously. "What is a.. daquiri?" Lorabelle asked as she tried to say the word. Without waiting for the answer, Lorabelle took a sip from the straw. As the red-ish/pink crushed ice brushed against her tongue, Lorabelle grinned happily. "It tastes like real strawberries! Yet it has a different taste to it to.. What is it?" Lorabelle asked as she looked up at Ben, happily sipping the drink.

"It's fruit and ice crushed together." Ben smiled. "My mother loves them. She used to make smoothies alot but she's learnign to make daquiris as well." He explained as he took a sip of his soda.

"It's yummy!" Lorabelle said happily as she sipped her drink. Though, at the rate she was drinking it it wasn't long before it was gone. Holding her head, Lorabelle gasped as her head began to throb and the roof of her mouth felt like a brick of ice. "Ahh! Why does my head hurt and my mouth feel like ice?" Lorabelle asked worriedly as she looked up at Ben.

"Its called a head freeze." Ben explained. "When you drink cold drinks like that too fast then you're head will hurt but I assure you that it'll subside in a few moments." He said as he rubbed her back soothingly.

"Come on, Ben! Shots!" Another young girl called, waving her arms.

"Count me out tonight." Ben shook his head.

"Just one!" The girl purred, her hand holding up a double shot of whiskey. "You can always hold your alcohol better then us. Bottoms up!" She insisted, thrusting her hand out to Ben.

Still rubbing her head, Lorabelle commented softly, "It seems you know a lot of people here tonight.. Are they all from school?"

"Yes, we have classes together and sometime we meet here to destress from school." Ben sighed as he took the shot glass into his hand.

"Ben! Ben! Ben!" The girl chanted through her laughter, causing a few others to turn.

"Just this one. We're leaving soon anyways." Ben explained before tipping back his head and swallowing the shot in one gulp, earning a few spatter claps. "Alright, alright." Ben shook his head, his face contorted from the taste of alcohol. "I'll see you all tomorrow then." He waved before putting an arm around Lora. "Are you ready to leave?" He asked softly.

Still holding her head, Lorabelle nodded with a smile, "I am if you are. I feel a bit of tea would do me good right now. Next time warn me before I drink something so gold," Lorabelle added with a laugh, "This is most definitely a human experience I could have lived without!"

"I'll try to remember next time." Ben smiled as he set down his half-drank soda and led Lora out the door.

"Leaving so soon?" Anna's British accent called out with a wave. "Goodnight, darlings. I shall see you again." She grinned before turning back to a boy who seemed intent on keep her attention.

Ben waved his goodbye before leading Lora outside. "I'm sorry if that was a bit overwhelming, Lora." He chuckled softly. "I didn't realize they would be drinking that much considering it's only Thursday."

"It's alright," Lorabelle said with a warm smile as she looked up at Ben, her brain freeze residing. "It was fun! I really liked the dancing and the daquiri," Lorabelle said happily with a giggle. "We should go again some time."

"If you say so." Ben smiled happily before reaching down to give Lora's lips a soft kiss, his hands resting chastely on her hips. "But let's get back before it gets too late. That's when all the scary people come out." He chuckled teasingly as he put an arm around Lora's waist and walked them back to his building.

"S-S-Scary people? W-What kind of s-scary people?" Lorabelle whispered as leaned into Ben's side, her fingertips grasping the hem of his shirt nervously. "Why do they only come out at a certain hour?"

"Oh, Lora. I'm sorry." Ben shook his head, mentally slapping himself. "I didn't realize you wouldn't understand. There's a saying that scary people come out at night because of the dark but I didn't mean to scare you. Truly, I'm sorry. It was only a tease. You're perfectly safe with me." Ben assured her as he led her into his building's doors and to the elevator.

Lorabelle frowned as she weakly punched Ben's arm, "That wasn't funny. That was very mean."

"I'm sorry, Lora. I didn't mean it." Ben pouted with puppy dog eyes. "Can you ever fogive me?" He asked softly as he stuck out his lower lip comically.
