"I very much doubt that I can," Lorabelle hmp'd as she crossed her arms, closed her eyes, and turned her head away from Ben. Hearing the elevator doors open for their floor, Lorabelle opened her eyes and walked over to the apartment door and clasped her hands behind her back. Waiting for Ben, Lorabelle playfully stuck her tongue out at him with a grin.

Ben laughed as he walked up to the apartment door and pressed his hands against it on either side of Lora's shoulders. "Well I don't know if I can go on knowing you can't forgive me." He grinned softly before leaning in a bit, feeling a bit daring by being so forward with her. "Could you...please...find it...in your...heart...to forgive...me?" He asked softly as he pressed kisses against her cheeks, forehead and nose between kisses before stopping his lips only milimeters away from her's.

Lorabelle giggled at his kisses. Shaking her head lightly, Lorabelle whispered softly, "Nope! That was too mean of a trick for me to forgive so easily. But you can keep trying to make me forgive you," Lorabelle added with a wink as she wrapped her arms around Ben's waist.

Ben smiled before his lips touched her's, putting one hand in her hair as he leaned Lora back against the door. The taste of whiskey lingered in the back of his mouth though the shot hadn't affected him in the least. Ben felt a dose of bravery as he parted Lora's lips, his tongue silently requesting permission as it brushed the inside of Lora's lower lip.

Lorabelle parted her lips to accept his kiss as one hand reached towards Ben's cheek. Gently, her fingertips brushed against his cheek and curled into his hair. Lorabelle didn't understand the feeling that was coming over her, nor what was making her feel so bold and daring, but it seemed natural to her. Perhaps it was the human in her coming forward?

When their kisses ended, Lorabelle whispered a few words in Fae that were the equivalent to 'I love you' in human speech. Blushing a deep scarlet, Lorabelle explained softly as she rested her forehead against Ben's, "I don't know the words in human speech.. But I think it's the word you used to describe how you feel about family members, but in the other way it's used.. When you talk about someone you like as more than a friend.."

Lorabelle had no idea if she was making any sense as she spoke her thought process while trying to come up with the words. "Does that make any sense?" Lorabelle asked softly with a scarlet blush on her cheeks. "What I said in Fae was that I'm falling for you in that way... but I don't know how to say it.."

"Love." Ben said quietly as he traced the length of her neck with his pointer finger. "The word is love. And I believe that I just may be falling in love with you as well, Lora." He sighed as he put his arm around her and unlocked the door to his apartment, leading her inside.

"Love... Amāre.. Love... Amāre..." Lorabelle said softly to herself. "So amāre means love?" Lorabelle asked as she looked up at Ben before heading into the kitchen and making a bowl of soup, one of the few things she'd learned to maneuver while Ben was away at school.

"Would you like any?" Lorabelle asked over her shoulder as she prepared the canned soup. Noting his look, Lorabelle blushed a deep scarlet. "Did I do something wrong?"

"No, of course not." Ben smiled as he ran a hand through his hair. "Some soup sounds delicious." He said as he took off his jacket and walked over to Lora and put an arm around her waist. "How'd you learn this?" He asked curiously as he resisted the urge to place kisses on her neck. He wasn't entirely sure what had gotten into him this morning but it seemed as if he'd fallen head over heels for Lora.

"When you were at school I experimented until I got it right," Lorabelle said with a blush as she pointed to the garbage pail full of soup cans. "It took me a few tries," Lorabelle added with a laugh before setting his bowl of soup, which was just a tad bit too hot, on the counter before him.

Making another bowl for herself, Lorabelle leaned back against the counter as she let the bowl heat in the microwave. "You look as it something is bothering you... Is it because of what I said?" Lorabelle asked hesitantly as she looked up at Ben, "I didn't mean to upset you.."

"I'm not upset, Lora." Ben assured her as he sat down at the counter and waited for his soup to cool down a bit before he ate it. "I guess I'm just surprised that I've fallen for you as much as I have." He grinned shyly. "Its been a while since I've cared about someone as much as I care about you." He admitted.

"I'm afraid it's a first time for me," Lorabelle said with an embarrassed laugh as she ran her fingers through her hair. Taking her soup out of the microwave, Lorabelle set the bowl on the island counter and sat across from Ben. "Is it bad... that I feel this much this soon? That you feel this much this soon?" Lorabelle asked as she sipped her chicken noodle soup.

"I don't know." Ben confessed as he ate a small bit of soup. "But I do know that I'm willing to try this if you are." He told her between bites, cooling each with a small breath before eating. "If you think you can put up with me." He winked at her playfully.

Lorabelle blushed a deep scarlet as she stared at the soup she was eating. "So.. it's not normal? It is not how it's supposed to be? I really am messing everything up... aren't I.... I'm sorry Ben.. I didn't mean to.. You can forget I said anything if you want.. I'd understand," Lorabelle said with a small smile before sipping her soup.

"Lora." Ben sighed as he shook his head. "There's no rules about this sort of thing. You're allowed to say whatever you're feeling." He said softly as he finished his soup. "When it comes to love there is no 'normal'. So don't be upset, please. Because I amare you." Ben smiled, the word feeling foreign on his tongue.

Lorabelle laughed as she leaned over and placed a light kiss upon Ben's lips. "Now you are just teasing."

Sitting back on her stool, Lorabelle finished her soup. "Amāre," Lorabelle corrected teasingly with a wink, "Amāre is how you say it. I think I may have to start teaching you my language as you are teaching me yours."

"I'd like that." Ben smiled happily. "Though I'm not every good with learning other languages. I only took 2 years of Spanish in school and I was awful at it." He shook his head at the memory. "But I can try."

Lorabelle laughed as she picked up their dishes and headed to the sink to wash them. "I can understand why! You're not very good at mimicking," Lorabelle teased over her shoulder with a wink before turning on the water and filling the sink with soapy water. "But what is.. Spanish?" Lorabelle asked curiously as she looked over at Ben.

"Its a different language that some peoplel speak, mainly people from the countries of Spain, Mexico, and some countries in South America." Ben explained. "There's alot of people in this world in alot of different countries and most of them speak different languages. I happen to be not very good at learning any of them though." He admitted with a laugh.

"Well, then I shall have to work hard to make you very good at learning mine," Lorabelle laughed as she we about washing the dishes and cleaning the counter tops, "Different countries? I would like to see them one day... I was only assigned to this continent, so I haven't seen much of your world. Have you been to these other countries?"

"Not many." Ben shook his head. "I've been north to Canada a few times with my parents but that's it for me. Anna though is from Britian and she's told me that she'd visited quite a few countries overseas." He informed Lora as he stood up and put an arm around Lora's waist. "I have a map around here somewhere if you want to see what all the countries look like." He told her, trying to remember where he had put the map from his history class.

Lorabelle nodded happily as she set the cloth down and turned to face Ben, "I would like that very much! Are you sure it will not take away from your own studies to teach me?" Lorabelle knew Ben was spending most of his time with her, whether it be teaching her or just being with her. She also knew he had college and his own work to be doing and she was afraid she was beginning to take away from his own work time, which was the last thing she ever wanted to do to him.

"No, I should be learning it anyways." Ben laughed. "My history teacher might be glad that I'm studying and at least now it'll be fun." He said before leaving the kitchen and rummaging through his books for the map they'd been given at the beginning of the semester.

"Perfect!" Lorabelle clapped happily before rushing over to the couch and holding her pillow. Sitting cross-legged, Lorabelle waited almost impatiently for Ben to find the map. She truly looked like a child at Christmas who had been told she could not open any presents until breakfast was over.

"What is it you learn in school?" Lorabelle asked as she waited, "It sounds like a wonderful place. Do they let anyone learn from there?"

"Aha!" Ben cried happily as he held up the world map and walked over to the couch, spreading the map on to the coffee table. "Here it is. And yes, they let anyone in as long as they apply and can afford the education." He explained as he placed his finger over the town they were in. "This is where we are." Ben said before drawing an invisible line over the ocean and to Britian. "This is where Anna was born." His finger moved again. "Spain, Italy, Greece." He recited the names of the countries as his finger traveled over them.

Lorabelle smiled as she let the names of the countries roll of her tongue. "Greece.... That is a country I have always dreamed of! My brother helped with the summers there. He would always tell me stories about the humans there, the large statues, the love of nature..." Lorabelle's smile turned warm at her recollections. "How does one get to these different places? Humans cannot fly," Lorabelle asked as she looked up at Ben.
