Alora couldn't help a small smile come onto her lips as she heard him. He wanted her... He wanted her to be just his and him to be just hers... she liked the sound of it even just in her mind... though... she didn't like how they would achieve it... "Who says you're weak when you love someone?... I've seen plenty of strong lovers..." she smiled slightly trying to lighten the mood just a little

He chuckled a bit. "Not what I mention but okay…" he smirked at her amused.

"You have before though... I can remember that clearly." Alora smirked slightly as she said this and for once... the memories didn't make her shiver or tremble... why? She didn't know in the least.

He chuckled looking at her, "Now do you love it or hate it I could never quite tell…" Ratchet said huskily looking at her.

Alora's face turned a nice shade of red at his question though she couldn't not look at him. "We make out while on that grass mat both of us moaning and you ask if I love it or hate it?" she couldn't help but laugh at that slightly grinning a little at Ratchet. Her body seemed to react to the conversation though she tried to ignore it for now since she knew she would have to wait... she would if that was what he wanted.

He smirked, "just checking Alex is quite and actor after all just checking to see if you are too…" He smirked looking at her.

Alora stared at Ratchet for a long moment then shook her head slightly. "Na... plus I can't lie to you and you know that... You know me too well by now." she smirked slightly at that. "Why would I fake that anyway? I could never fake that even if I tried... that had never happened to me before you remember..." she reminded him slightly with a smirk still wishing he would kiss her... or hold her... or something... though, she knew where that would lead and all it took was one set of eyes and Damen would be back there.

He smirked looking at him, "Good girl....." He smirked. He too wanted to kiss her but he was too scared. He sighed getting up, "Come on food time...." He said dully.

"Okay!" Alora smiled as she got up... a little unsteadily at first then was fine once she could feel her leg again a little better. She smiled up at Ratchet as she walked up to him slightly though knew she would walk slightly behind him while they went to get food... and would hide her feelings fully and act as though she were still just his pet... every now and again when she would address him around others that didn't know his name she would address him as master though she knew he didn't like her to call him that anymore... it was just so no one would get suspicious about them.

He smirked as he walked his hands folded over his chest and his eyes dark with thought. He was severely hopping that he didn't run into Damen. He wasn't in the mood now he had too many choices to make and he didn't want to act rashly. He sighed sitting down after he got food.

Alora smiled as she got her food and sat next to Alex and Missy who was holding her small baby. Missy glared at Ratchet for a moment then looked away and smiled at Alora as they chatted for a few minutes. Alex hadn't been looking so good ever since Mura died and that continued even after that month had passed... it seemed like just yesterday he saw his little sisters eyes close and heard her last words... they hurt though it only made it worse that those hateful words were her last...

Ratchet just smirked at Missy. He didn't like her. He turned looking at Alex ready with a witty comment but frowned instantly the second he saw his friend. He looked at him worried his brows furrowed.

Alex looked up feeling Ratchet's gaze on his face and tried to smile at his friend... Though it wasn't a full one... The main reason he was upset right now wasn't because he had been thinking about his sister... It was more a fatherly look of pain... One of his oldest boys was sick and he knew the boy was dying... He just knew it and that was hurting him terribly...

Ratchet frowned at him. "What's wrong man?" Hevsaid softly. His eyes filled with worry for his old friend. He didn't like seeing him upset like this at all. It made him unhappy. Very unhappy.

Alex's face dropped as he dropped the act and looked down at the table almost mornfully. "One of my oldest boys are dying and there's nothing we can do..." he murmured and this news pulled Alora's attention away from her chat to look at her brother.

Ratchet frowned holding in his usual response of well that's the goddamn circle of life with, "Oh…I'm sorry what happened…" It felt strange coming from him but he was worried.

Alex shook his head unsure. "I... I truly don't know... He's been sick for a while... We could never figure out what was wrong with him though..." he sighed softly and looked off thinking about his son quietly.

"Have you talked to Misa?" He asked frowning. He didn't like this. A sick kid was never good.

Alex sighed and nodded. "There... There's nothing we can do... he was born with a problem and... no matter what we did for him... it never got better..." he sighed softly not liking to think about it much....

Ratchet nodded looking down feeling useless, "I'm sorry then...." He said as he stood, "I'm getting a beer...." He said softly walking off. He didn't like to drink. Alcohol did funny things to him but right now he needed to get away.

Alex and Alora watched as Ratchet stood and walked off neither getting up... neither knew what to say to Ratchet or what to do in this situation. Finally Alora stood after she had finished eating and started walking to go find Ratchet not knowing exactly where he would be.

Ratchet was sitting in a room all alone with a bottle of beer in both hands drinking heavily. He was alone for a reason. He didn't like being around people when he was drunk. He sighed smashing the one, now empty bottle and grabbed a new one as he thought.

Alora walked around looking for Ratchet though didn't ask anyone if they had seen him yet... she knew he was upset and she doubted he would have anyone around him anyway. She walked past a door catching a glimpse of something and turned back to pear inside slightly and saw Ratchet... She had never seen him drink... and if she had she had never seen him drink it from the bottle. She didn't make a sound as she stood by the door on the outside worriedly looking in at Ratchet quietly.

Ratchet finished the second bottle braking it too the glass spillig on he floor. He shivered taking another bottle chugging it quickly and even faster grabbed a fourth.

((Damen should show up once Alora begins to talk to Ratchet. ))

"Ratch? Are... Are you okay?" Alora finally asked stepping into the door way a bit more so she could be seen though stayed at the door... She didn't know if he handled the alcohol well or if it handled him.... She hoped he knew how to handle the alcohol.
