Talen looked over at him with a smirk. "Aren't you a bright one." he laughed turning to face Ken. "I need some answers. Lavi's death... You blindfolded Sumi, he heard screams and struggling. I can't seem to believe you wouldn't kill the other Naga on first strike. What were you all fighting?" he said going straight to the point.

Talen took a seat next to Ken staring up at the sky. "I'm too impatient to wait for his memories return to know the truth." he looked over at Ken raising an eyebrow. "I can promise there is no Naga blood in my veins or scales on my body. If you need me to strip to make sure, I can. I don't know how well that will go over with Sumi though." he spoke conversationally attempting to pry more out of the man sitting next to him.

Talen couldn't hide the blush so instead he laughed. "I would like to enjoy seeing his reaction. However not right now." he sighed than looking over at Ken with a raised eyebrow. "It must give you great pleasure watching me suffer. Why are you doing this for me? Is it not for Sumi... Yes, I wanted them back but so did he. The truth is better than lies anyway." he leaned back using his legs to keep himself from falling off the wall.

"I have yet to let my full power out too. If I have to let it out for Sumi I will do it without a second thought." Talen went to places his hand against Ken's cheek. "I suggest you do not kill me with your own hands or I'll take your life with mine. A lovely trait for being a demon. I won't be as easy to kill as the naga." With a laugh Talen placed a kiss on Ken's cheek. "I can promise you I won't tell him a thing. This is between you and me. Now I must go check on him and hope he hasn't left his room in search of me. Has already marked my body from his suffocating grasp." he said jumping down leaving Ken where he was at walking back to the apartment.

Hearing Sumi call out for him Talen sprinted to the apartment like his life depended on it and opened to the door to the bedroom out of breath. His eyes instantly went Sumi worried. "I'm sorry. I'm here Sumi, I'm here." he said holding his arms open for Sumi.

"I had to make sure of a few things. I won't leave you Sumi I promise. I'll be here even if you don't want me around." he said wrapping his arms around Sumi giving him a loving kiss. "I'm sorry I worried you."

Talen tried to keep the devastation off his face and smiled instead allowing Sumi to kiss him thinking he was someone else. "I love you Sumi." he said speaking in his true feelings knowing they would be taken as Lavi saying it.

Talen slid his arms around Sumi's waist, "Rest first my dear. I need you wide awake before we can runaway. It is too early in the day. They would stop us at the wall." he reasoned with Sumi hoping his love was tired enough to sleep some more. He needed to separate from him for a few minutes, pretending to be Lavi didn't sit well with him.

Talen swore in his mind before going for a desperate measure. Using his demonic abilities he kissed Sumi this time only to drain all the heat from his body and have him pass out. "Sleep my love. It'll all be better soon." he sighed knowing why Sumi was doing this. It bothered him though that Lavi surpassed him

Talen draped multiple blankets over Sumi before escaping the apartment from the window and sat upon the roof just above the bedroom. He held his head in his hands trying to collect himself. He wanted Sumi all to himself not fighting for a place against Lavi.

"Not that I'm depressed, I'm furious..." Talen looked at Ken the rage flowing from him in waves. "You try pretending to be his ex-lover..." he muttered staring at the sky. "Are you really here just to torture me? Isn't Sumi confusing me enough Ken."

"Well I can reassure you he is passed out on his bed in a deep sleep." He said looking over at Ken just wanting some company not a reminder. "You'll have to teach me about Lavi than. I can't pretend to be a complete stranger. So if he is special to you start talking Ken." The true anger came out of Talen's voice, he preferred being the perfect Lavi than deceive Sumi by being a horrible reincarnation of his past love. "I'll do whatever you want if you help me. I've seemed to disappear from his mind."

"Ha, warn me of that! I thought it would be worse. I just hate deceiving him and now I have to be strong." Talen laughed, his muscles were barely defined on his body compared to Sumi and he hated being forceful. "I was expecting him to hate me and want me gone, not confuse me with his lover." He laughed holding his head. "At least I know his weakness and I knew Lavi was his first. Easy to figure that out."
