Mike looked pleased with himself. "Think that's enough to help with your barrier problem?" He asked Leo.
Chris just looked around the room, one girl was staring at Leo, wide-eyed. |
Leo looked around checking peopel power levels and sighed sadly. "Its a good start.... but not enough. My powers have not fully come back from the wound that demon.... gave me.. And welll" Leo sighed. "You know what i am about to say don't you mike. That why you didn't want Marie here isn't?"

Mike smiled and Chris looked like he was restraining himself from punching Mike straight in the mouth. "Of course that's why. Damnit! I should have known. He won't come back, Mike. Not if he can't have Marie."

Leo sighed. "Mike he right and well Marie choose me so he won't come back how would you think to give start to bring him back at all. He dosen't care about this world any more he gave it up to make Marie happy."

Mike thought for a moment, looking very serious. A demon coughed slightly, to bring attention to herself. "Well...what she just happened to end up in mortal danger, along with her baby? Would that bring this...demon of yours out of hiding?"

"I won't dare let any one put her in to it to begin with."
|
Chris looked slightly angry. "Niether would I." The female demon sighed. "She wouldn't really be in danger, just make her think she is. Maybe that would be enough to bring out this demon of yours."

"No because she been through enough trouble in the last week so no its a terrible idea."
|
Chris sighed and tried keeping his anger inside him. "But, there's got to be a way to convince him to come back up here."

"I don't know." Leo and Julia said at the same time.
|
Chris looked between the two, then sighed. "Well, Marie's the only one that would. But...she wasn't invited.." He drew out the last word.
Mike sighed. "Fine. If you want to call her, you may." |
"I told her I would tell her when I knew some thing. Let me call her Mike." Leo said.

Mike nodded slightly, leaning back a little. "I guess we would need to ask her."

Leo dail up Marie cell phone and waited for her to answer it.

Mariewoke with a start when he phone went off. She'd fallen asleep in the bed with her clothes on. She rubbed her eyes and answered, yawning slightly. "Yes?"

"Hey hun sorry for waking you up right now." Leo smiled. "Would you like to join me over here?"
|
Marie blinked slightly and slowly got out of bed. "Is something wrong?"
|
"An issue came up I was un aware of until I got here. Want me to pick you up dear?" Leo asked.

Marie sighed softly. "Alright, I'll be there in a few minutes....no. I can make it, thanks though." She got up and went to the closet and looked for some suitable clothes quickly.

"Ok dear We'll explain thing when you get here. Thos eI wish i just would ahve taken you in the first place it would ahve been easier see you soon hun."

Marie smiled slightly into the phone. "See you in a bit." Then she hung up and quickly got dressed, made sure she smelled ok, then washed her face. She then went to the window, taking a deep breath. She had never flown while pregnant before...she wondered if she even could. She flapped her large pixy-ish wings, hoping for the best. Then flew out the window. She seemed to be doing ok, then headed for Mike's house.

Leo hung up the cell and waited. "You should ahve let me bring her in the first place."

Mike shrugged slightly. "Maybe...though I knew you two wouldn't like my idea. I didn't want to upset her, considering what happened last time. It's not good for her or the baby." Then he sighed. "Guess we'll have to upset her anyways."

"But this will not be good but shee need to know when it dealing with that demon."
|
Chris sighed and looked slightly angry. "I sort of understand why he left, but I can't forgive that he left his kid behind like he did."
