Rose returned the kiss.
"I would hope so," she replied teasingly, "since it's your fault." She snuggled a bit closer to him. |
Damien pouted a little. "Oh, so it's my fault, is it?" He pulled her a little closer, his hands settling against her skin.
"Mostly," Rose replied, grinning a bit and kissing him again. "But I can forgive you for it."
Damien kept pouting. "I should hope so." Then he grinned and rolled them over so he was on top and kissed her lightly again.
Rose returned the kiss and squirmed out from under him.
"Come on," she said, "or else we're not going to have enough time for that walk before we have to worry about my grandmother waking up." |
Damien grinned and pushed her clothes over to her again. "Think it's safe enough for me to change here?"
"I think so," Rose replied as she got dressed again. She tried not to think about the state her hair must be in.
Damien nodded and shifted to the form he normally took, a really big tiger. He nudged her gently, the tip of his tail flickering as he started sniffing around at things.
Rose scratched behind one of his ears before trailing after him as he wandered around. Shapeshifting boyfriend or not, she wasn't going to put herself in the way of a tiger exploring the area.
Damien spent a little bit of time exploring the immediate area before he set off through the woods a little more, making sure to stay walking so that Rose could keep up with him. Now he just needed a good place...
Rose followed, although it was a challenge to keep track of him in the dark and between the trees. Humans weren't designed to see in the dark, after all.
Damien waited until he found a little clearing to move into the center of it, waiting for her to join him before nudging her so she'd sit.
Curious, Rose did so. She was interested to see what he had in mind, and there was no real point in asking him when she wouldn't get a verbal reply. So she sat down and waited.
Damien moved over and sat next to her, rubbing against her briefly so some of his smell rubbed off on her. If she'd been able to shift, he might have done some other things, but he contented himself with sprawling out against her legs.
Rose smiled and she snuggled him briefly.
"See?" she teased softly. "Giant housecat." |
Damien snorted but didn't do anything else, just stretching out and lazily curling his tail around her waist.
Rose scratched behind his ears some more and settled there with him, lavishing attention on him. Oh yes, she was a cat person. And she had the cat-lady mug somewhere to prove it.
Damien let his eyes slide half-closed, purring quietly as they sat there. He was a happy big kitty.
Rose relaxed there. It was nice being able to enjoy something like this without there being mortal danger involved. After a moment, she grinned and nudged him, trying to roll him over. He would probably end up pinning her down later, so she wanted to start the gentle playing first.
Damien looked at her for a moment before he let her, rolling over onto his bag with his paws in the air. He was careful to keep his claws sheathed, though.
Rose grinned when she ended up draped over him. Reaching out, she touched the pads of one of his paws gently, working her fingers between his toes for a moment.
Damien snorted at her but let her, batting at her playfully with his other front paw. Because he could.
Rose laughed a bit and lifted a hand to shield her face. She knew he wouldn't hurt her, but still.
Damien kept batting at her playfully, though he was careful not to hurt her, and he was gentle with her. She was human, after all, and therefore breakable.
Rose laughed as he kept batting at her, and she eventually caught one of his paws and held on to it. It wasn't quite wrestling, but it was about as close as Rose could get.
