"If you'd like, I can take you out to dinner tonight," Taylor offered softly after a little while. "Or anything you want." He wanted to make everything up to her, somehow.

Sera shook her head a little. "Not hungry at the moment. I need a drink, though." Preferably a stiff one. A few shots of vodka would make everything better.

"I think we can do that, then," Taylor replied. "I know of a few places around that have good alcohol. Or we can buy some and bring it back here."

"Either one is fine with me." Because half of her wanted to be someplace loud so she couldn't think, and the other half wanted to just curl up in bed and drink. And potentially put Taylor outside for the night.

"Stay home, then," Taylor replied. "So you don't have to worry about getting back again later." He hesitated. He was going to offer to leave her be, if she wanted, but he didn't want her to actually say yes. He would go if he was told to, but he didn't want to invite that option himself.

Sera nodded. "Alright. I should probably let Rose and Damien know." Because she didn't really want them around for her pity fest/drinking bash. Hopefully Damien would just offer to have Rose over to his place for dinner or something so she wouldn't have to shove them out the door.

"Fair warning, I think Damien is cranking the romance quota up again," Taylor said. He didn't mention that his friend was thinking of proposing soon. No sense in letting that little tidbit slip before it was time.

"Even better. I can prod them back towards his house for the night." Sera got up and shifted her clothes so she was more comfortable (because sleeping in jeans is just not fun after a while). "Be back in a few."

She made her way down the hall and knocked on Rose's door quietly.

Taylor nodded and let her go.

Rose heard the knock and reluctantly squirmed out of Damien's grasp to open the door.

"Sera?" she asked when she saw her friend. "Is everything alright?"

"Yeah, fine," Sera said with a shrug. "I was just going to go out to the store and get a few things. I think Taylor and I are eating in tonight."

Damien looked at her for a moment. Yup. Taylor had told her, and she was not happy. He'd warned the incubus, but oh well.

"In that case," he said smoothly, rising and walking over to the two, "how about you come to my place, Rose? I can make dinner if you want, or we can have another movie night."

Rose hesitated. It was clear that Sera wasn't okay, but also equally as clear that Sera didn't want to talk to her about it.

"Alright," she said after a moment. She nodded. "Sounds like a plan."

Sera nodded. Excellent. "I'll be heading out in a minute. Need me to pick up anything for you?"

"No, I'm good," Rose replied. Quickly, she gave Sera a hug. "Give me a call if you need to talk, alright?"

"I will." Sera hugged her back briefly before she went to go get her purse and shoes so she could go.

Damien looked at her. "When do you want to leave?"

"As soon as I change," Rose replied, going to her dresser to dig out some clothes.

Taylor went with Sera, following her out of the house.

"Get whatever you want," he said to her. "I'll buy." It was the least he could do for upsetting her.

Damien nodded and waited patiently, looking away to give her some privacy. Not that he hadn't seen all of her already, but still.

Sera looked at him for a moment before she nodded. She wasn't going to argue with him this time. Not that she was planning on getting much to start with, really.

Once she was changed, Rose grabbed her bag. She had enough at Damien's place that she didn't need to pack anything this time.

"Do you know what's going on between them?" she asked him as they headed out. "Something doesn't seem right at the moment."

Taylor walked Sera out to his car and got into the driver's seat.

"Where to?" he asked her.

Damien hesitated for a moment as he walked down to her car, since his was still at the zoo lot. "He's the one that took care of the siren, not me. And he fed while he did so." That should be enough explanation.

"Just down to the corner store," Sera said with a shrug. Really, that was good enough for her.

"And she didn't take it well," Rose replied, sighing. She knew how Sera tended to think. "She knows what she signed up for... I don't see why she can't accept it."

Taylor nodded and headed in that direction.

Damien shrugged. "Well, if it were you and I was an incubus and I slept with someone else and fed off them, how pissed would you be?"

Sera was quiet until they got to the store, and then she headed straight for the back, getting a bottle of Bailey's and then a bottle of vanilla vodka. Because yes she was something of a wimp and she didn't like the taste of straight alcohol.

"Fairly," Rose admitted. She was insecure as it was, that kind of thing would just tip her over the edge of paranoia. "But it wouldn't be something to hold against you personally." She sighed. "Especially with how devoted he tries to be to Sera."

Taylor didn't comment on the prissy alcohol. He was just the one paying for it, after all, and it was what Sera wanted, so it was her choice.

Damien shrugged. "Hey, she didn't kick him out," he pointed out. "And she didn't hit him. As far as I could hear anyway, and I would have been able to hear. So there are plenty of worse things she could have done to him."

Sera glanced at him before looking away again, handing over the alcohol for the moment and heading up front.

"She holds grudges like no tomorrow," Rose reminded him. "This is going to put a wedge between them for a long time."

Taylor followed her and paid for the alcohol before turning to her.

"Was there anything else you wanted?" he asked her softly.

Damien shrugged. "If you want you can always see if you can talk her out of it," he said quietly. "Otherwise I don't know what else we could do."

Sera shook her head. "No, that should be fine." And as soon as they got back she was going to get drunk and then sleep.

"I might do that," Rose murmured. She sighed. "I just hate seeing them doing this to themselves."

"Alright," Taylor replied. "Back home, then?"
