After a little while, Rose moved a bit so that she could run her fingers through his hair gently. She knew he liked it when she did that, and she liked to indulge him once in a while.

Damien's eyes slipped closed as he relaxed, starting to purr quietly. He could very definitely just stay in bed with her for the rest of the night.

Rose smiled a bit and continued.

"You're such a housecat," she teased as she scratched his scalp gently with her nails.

Damien didn't even bother protesting. There was just no point by now. Instead he pulled her closer.

Rose let him pull her closer, and kept running her fingers through his hair. Hey, he put up with her wanting to snuggle all the time, so she treated him once in a while.

Damien pulled her almost on top of him, his arms loose around her as he laid there, totally relaxed. Oh yeah. He could get used to this far too quickly.

Rose squeaked in surprise when he pulled her on top of him, and gradually stopped playing with his hair and just cuddled with him.

"Relaxed?" she asked, a little teasingly.

Damien opened one eye to look at her, still purring, and gave her a Look that told her exactly how silly it was to ask such a thing.

Rose just giggled a bit and snuggled closer.

"I'm glad you're enjoying yourself, then," she said softly.

Damien smiled and let his hand slide up and down her back slowly, still totally relaxed. His cousins could wait another hour. They wouldn't be done working for that long anyway.

Rose sighed and relaxed as he rubbed her back slowly, letting herself go boneless against him. Oh yes, she could get used to that very quickly.

Damien smirked faintly and continued, quite content to just do that for a while. He was very glad he'd decided to go ahead with this little vacation.

Rose was glad, too. The vacation seemed to be exactly what they needed.

"You're good at that," she mumbled as he rubbed her back.

"Good to know," Damien murmured. "I do try." He smiled faintly and kissed her briefly, still rubbing her back.

Rose returned the kiss and relaxed against him again.

"When did you say you wanted to go see your relatives?" she asked after a little while.

"Sometime around 9:30. That'll give them some time to kick the last of the customers out and do some cleaning." Damien yawned briefly, settling down there.

"Alright," Rose said. She grinned a bit. "Settling in for a nap?"

"Yeah. My cousins are probably going to keep me up all night." Damien grinned lazily. "So you can leave whenever you get tired. Or if you glare at them they'll probably let me know. All the males in my family have a very healthy respect for female tempers."

"I'll bet," Rose replied. She snuggled closer to him. "I'll be alright. A nap right now sounds good anyways."

"Good." Damien smiled sleepily and relaxed there, keeping his arms around her.

He woke up again a little after nine but didn't get up just yet. It wouldn't take them long to walk over to the restaurant, and he didn't quite want to wake Rose yet.

Rose was snuggled comfortably against him as she slept. It wasn't often she got the chance to nap in the afternoons, so she took advantage now.

Damien let her sleep until a quarter after and then he nudged her gently.

"Rose. Time to wake up. We have to get going."

Rose stretched a little when she was woken up, and then sat up.

"That late already?" she asked. "How long was I asleep?"

"Couple hours." Damien shrugged. "Nice decent nap." He grinned at her. "You don't have to come if you don't want to, you know. I'm not going to make you."

"No, I want to come," Rose replied, getting up and reaching for her brush. She paused. "Unless you want me to stay behind."
