Damien laughed quietly. "You're a crafty little thing." He grinned and moved over to the bed, pulling her down next to him.

Sera grinned and managed to get up to go call room service.

"Mac and cheese it is. You want anything to drink?"

"I have my moments sometimes," Rose replied as she leaned in and kissed him again.

"I'm fine with soda or water," Taylor replied. As far as he knew, there was no 'right' drink to have with mac and cheese, so either of those two choices were good with him.

Damien pulled her closer, not quite onto his lap but close to. He could get used to this.

Sera nodded and ordered sodas for both of them, mac and cheese, and a slice of chocolate cake. Hey, they deserved it.

"Fifteen minutes, ish."

Rose snuggled closer to him. She could get used to it, too. Very easily.

"Great," Taylor replied. Hooking an arm around Sera's waist, he pulled her closer next to him. "So we have fifteen more minutes to stay like this before dinner arrives."

Damien stayed there, making sure she wasn't about to go anywhere anytime soon. Not that he was cuddly or anything. Of course not.

Sera laughed quietly and settled in next to him again. "Yup. Or whatever you want."

Taylor chuckled and gave Sera a kiss.

"Don't say that," he teased. "Or we could very well end up missing the fifteen-minute mark."

Sera laughed and tapped him on the nose with her finger, still grinning.

"We'll see about that," she teased.

Taylor chuckled slightly and pulled her closer to him.

"I'll have to see if I can persuade you a little later," he teased in return.

Sera laughed quietly and shook her head, staying there until someone knocked on the door. Then she got up to go get their food.

Taylor reluctantly let her go so she could answer the door, and then got up to join her once the door closed. He gave her a chaste kiss on the cheek.

"So dinner now, or later?" he asked.

"Might as well eat now." Sera put the plates down and stretched before relaxing again. "Or we could shove it in the fridge for later. Whichever, I suppose."

"Then how about we eat now," Taylor said as he followed her. "Then we don't have to worry about stashing it away later on or forgetting about it." Hey, never let it be said he wasn't practical.

Sera snickered. "Meaning we won't have to think about it or get out of bed later." She grinned teasingly at him.

Taylor grinned back and leaned in to give her a kiss.

"Something I doubt either of us would mind much," he teased.

"Very true." Sera grinned and set things up so they could eat. Might as well, as he'd pointed out.

Taylor grinned as well and helped her set things up. He had to admit, the food smelled good, even when his mind was drifting onto other topics.

Sera sat down to eat once everything was set out. The food was actually pretty good, which surprised her. Meaning she took longer than she'd originally meant to.

Taylor didn't blame her, to be honest. The food was better than he'd thought, as well, so he didn't mind that dinner took longer than intended.

By the time they finished and Sera had put the food away, she was quite happy to get comfortable in bed.

She suspected it wouldn't take Taylor long to jump in with her, though.

Taylor did take the time to make sure dinner was cleaned up before he went and settled down with her on the bed. Leaning over, he gave her a kiss.

"Feel better now that you've had something to eat?" he asked

"Mm. Definitely." Sera grinned briefly. "Your turn." She poked the tip of his nose teasingly.

"Mmm, careful what you wish for," Tayor teased, kissing her again. He had behaved himself and held back up until now, being good so that Sera could settle in and get comfortable. Now it was time to make her feel good.

The next day Damien woke up a little after dawn, stretching and looking over at Rose. Everything was just starting to light up, and for the moment it was quiet, although he suspected that wouldn't last long. So he settled in more firmly next to her, resting there and enjoying th emoment while he could.

Rose didn't wake when Damien did. Dawn was not her usual waking hour, and she'd gotten used to him being next to her in bed, enough so that he didn't wake her when he moved. She did wake up a little later, however, when she heard people starting to get up and about around the house. The Clan didn't tend to stay inside long in the morning, not when there were kids around. She did snuggle a bit closer to him, though, not wanting to get up quite yet.

"I think we'll have today to relax," she said softly to him. "The wedding is tomorrow, and we need to be there for like noon or so. But today is free."

Damien nodded, winding his arms around her again. "Good." He wanted to go explore some, since it had been a while since he'd been out somewhere like this, where there weren't many people.
