The king smiled when he heard her and nodded, "thank you, the dance means alot to me." he said but was surprised when he heard her and glanced at Isaac. They just stared at each other, no glares or evil looks. Then they both nodded and the king looked at her, "okay, no fighting." he said and then smiled at hte good news. "it is great to hear." he said but looked at Isaac and wondered if it was good for them to be spending this much time together.

"I just hope that you know what to wear too." she said then frowned as a thought came to her. "Father....will you ever get married again?" she asked as she looked at him and waited for an answer. She was happy though, to know that there would be no fighting between them during the party. She hoped that it stayed like that always.

Thr king Chuckled when he heard her, "don't worry, I candress myself so I will look kingly tonight." he said as he looked at her. But then frowned sighed and sighed, "I am not sure, I haven't found thre right girl yet and I am not sure I ever will." he said as he looked at her. He just hoped that she found the right person, she needed a king by her side if she wanted the throne.

"Maybe you'll find someone at the party." she said and smiled as she looked at him. "I hope you do find someone though father...I don't like to see you so alone and sad...it makes me feel alone and sad." she said and smiled a sad smile at him. Vera wouldn't be so nice to the new queen if her father ever got married again, but as long as he was happy so was she.

The king smiled and nodded, "yeah maybe I will." he said as he looked at her. "and I am not sad and alone. I have you." he said as he looked at her lovingly.

Vera chuckled and hugged her father. "I know...but still...I know we both need a Queen." she said to him and looked at Isaac. "Well then..I assume you're busy with paperwork...so Isaac and I will be at the gardens if you need us." she said gently.

The king smiled and hugged her back, "okay, you two go and have fun." he said as he smiled at them. Isaac nodded and looked at Vera, "come on, lets go." he said as he smield at Vera.

Vera smiled back at Isaac and walked over to the garden where she quickly plopped down on the floor and motioned for Isaac to do the same. "Isaac....do you like me?" she asked as she looked at him kindly.

Isaac smiled when she sat down on the ground and quickly followed her lead. But he nearly fell over when she asked her question and wasn't sure what to do or say. Slowly he looked at her, "of course I like you, why wouldn't I?" he asked as he smiled at her but wans't sure if he answered that right. His feelings where more then like for her.

"Hmmm....I like you too!" she said and placed her head on his shoulder. She liked sitting like this, it was nice. "What should we talk about Isaac?" she asked him and wanted to talk about something that was on his mind.

Isaac smiled when he heard her and found himself wrapping a arm around her hwen she placed her head on his shoulder. He was happy that she liked him and thought for a moment, "I dont know, what would you like to talk about?' he asked.

"To be honest I want to talk about anything you want to talk about. Something that interests you." she said and looked upi at him and smiled.

Isaac thought for a moment, "well I like to read and explore and be with you." he said and looked down at her, "I dont have many interests since I havne't done much up here." he said as he smiled at her.

"Well why do you like to be with me? And what books do you like to read?" she asked him and giggled cutely as it soon began to get late.

Isaac smiled, "I like to be with you since your nice, caring and kind. You care for other people besides yourself and your adventurous." he said happily, glad to tell her why she was probably one of the greatest people he knew. "and I like to read anything since I haven't read much." he said with a smile.

Vera smiled and blushed at his compliments. "Well you're a kind person too...and I promise to dance with you tomorrow. Of course I have to dance with princes first...but I won't forget to dance with you!" she said and hugged him.

Isaac smiled when he saw her blush and thought she looked amazing. He then nodded and hugged her back, "well I will be waiting for that dance and I will make sure that the prince who you dance with are nice." he said as he looked down at her.

"I believe that all princes are kind. Just interested in money is all..." she said as she looked at the clouds slowly rolling by. "I'll dance with you...don't worry..." she said and patted his head gently.

Isaac nodded, "hopefully there is one guy out there that isn't looking for money. That is the guy for you." he said as he looked at her and smiled when she patted his head, "and I know, I am not going to worry at all."

"I doubt it...." she said rolling her eyes. She then pointed to the sky. "Look at the clouds...they move so slowly for something that probably doesn't weigh anything." she said and smiled.

Isaac wondered if he could be the guy she was looking for but he doubt that. "well just keep on looking, I am sure there is a guy for you." he said as he smiled at her. He then looked up at the clouds and smiled, "I think they are trying to tell us that we should take our time and enjoy life." he said

Vera laughed at what he said. "Maybe you're right." she said and thought of the party. she really was excited for this party since it would be the first in a very long time. The purpose of the party was basically so that she could find a suitor. "Isaac...what's the difference between a guard and a knight?" she asked him.

Isaac smiled and nodded, "I know I am right." he said as he looked at her. He wondered what would happen if he could be a prince for a night and not her guard. He wanted to be the guy that she could possibly marry but he knew that it wouldn't happen. He then was surprised by the question and smiled, "a guard is someone who watches over another while a knight fights for the kingdom to protect everyone." he said as he looked at her.

"Then I'm glad you're a guard...Knights can die. I don't want you to die." she said and snuggled closer to him blushing at what she had said.

Isaac smiled when he heard her and held her close to him, "as am I since I get to spend more time with you."
