"Ah okay.... you seem happier then the last time I saw you." The woman smiled softly and looked at Angel then looked at Koinu who had fallen back asleep in his lap and smiled softly. "She is very cute." she said softly referring to Koinu who was curled against her father cutely with her thumb in her mouth some.

"Yeah, I am. I never gave up on her, I never stopped hoping she'd come back to me, and she has. At first I got this job as a distraction, then the people here became like family to me." he said. "She is, and Kitsune did a good job raising her on her own, now I'll help her." He knew he would always love his small family. And his family in his friends and work mates.

"It must have been very hard to go on without her... did you even doubt her? Think that she went to be with someone else? I don't think that I could handle it." The healer asked softly then thought some. "How old is she? She looks like she's almost 3 or 4... she can't be you didn't know about her until your wife came back did you?" she asked curiously as she looked at the small girl though couldn't help but smile.

"She's one." he said. "I didn't doubt her, only waited for her to come back, I knew that she woudn't leave me." he said. "I do intend to keep my family together. And my technically adopted families like the one I found here together as well."

"I thought that Kitsune was only gone for a year and a half? How can she be one?" the woman asked curiously as she looked at the child and couldn't believe she was only one... then how did she look so old? She looked about three maybe four... how? "I guess you two were just that close... I couldn't imagine it really... I think I would go insane." she said softly with a smile as she looked first at Angel and Koinu before looking to Kitsune.

"We were, before we got married it must have been when she got pregnant. She had her after six months of being gone." he said. "And she was traveling, and making sure Koinu got fed properly, sometimes not eating properly herself. SHe was dedicated I guess to have Koinu live. Now both will eat good." he said.

"I thought that she looked a little underweight... that might be how come she got so hurt... she doesn't have enough fat on her to cushion any of the blows that were delt to her. But she seems pretty strong to me... to be able to go almost a year and a half with probably no sleep and little food... most would be dead by now" the healer said softly though did smile some and knew that the two were good for each other and that they would and had taken good care of each other and now their daughter.

He thought about that and remembered that she is strong and stubborn it would take more than that to kill her. "Yeah, we have and we will do the same for Koinu." he said.

The healer smiled and nodded softly not seeming to mind that he had heard her thoughts at all.

"So what brought you to work here as a healer?" he asked her curiously.

"Well... my husband worked here a long while back.... probably ten or so years ago and we were engaged at the time. I didn't want to be alone so I started coming with him. When he got hurt one day I was healing him and one of the high ranking commanders saw me. They offered me a job and I stayed.... my husband died two years ago though I just couldn't stop... he wouldn't like it if I had." The healer said softly though smiled some to Angel and didn't seem to feel too bad talking about her dead husband at all.

"That is a sad thing to happen to your husband, why haven't you quit though, I don't mean to pry, but I see you here and there and when you heal people and save them it seems to make you happy, do you like being able to help others?" he asked her. "You don't have to answer if you don't want to." he said.

"I love helping here... and he wouldn't have wanted me to quit so I didn't. I will never move on though I can always move forward and keep on doing what I'm good at and take care of others." The healer smiled softly and thought a bit though didn't seem too upset at the questions. "So who was it that came in and did this? Why would someone hurt her like this?... That is, if you don't mind me asking" the woman asked softly and kindly as she looked at Kitsune and hoped that she would be okay... she still wasn't sure herself though she felt that she would be fine.

"Her friends brother and a hunter, the one that had called in with the information on me and her being here was killed, hense me being promoted, well her friends brother came in here to do the dirty work while the hunter distracted me, I killed them both, but not before that bastard who came in here almost got to killing them, I'm just glad that he didn't succeed." he said. "Her friends brother also almost messed up something good between me and a friend of mine and hers and my friend, you've met Trish." he said. "I'm just glad that he's dead now I won't have to worry about him." he started babbling and stopped. He didn;t mind telling her what happened. "But the bounty hunters organization is going to get regulated, she was put on the list for being born as what she is, nothing more."

"Ah okay... I thought you said before that the guy that had been with Trish before was the one that had done something and you didn't trust him?" The woman asked not seeming to be bothered by him babbling slight.... she didn't talk to many people anyway so she didn't mind at all. She got up for a moment quickly checking Kitsune's stats before smiling at Angel some and sitting back down to listen to him.

"The guy in that came in here, changed his shape to look like Kitsune's friend Thomas and beat them, this happened before me and her got married." he said. He loved having company while his wife recovered made him not worry as much.

"ah okay... I just don't see why anyone would want to hurt any of you, you are all very kind people" she said seeming rather surprised that anyone would do that to them... they were all so nice why would anyone want to hurt them.

(hm... I feel like spicing this up though I just don't know how XP )

((you could have her try and distract him from his worry by inviting him to her tent for dinner that day or something like that?))

He shrugged. "Me either. I really don't know, but that's going to change very shortly, and anyone who tries to hurt us will be delat with." he said.

(hm... I'm not sure... I mean, what would happen to be interesting?... what do you think of Haren showing up randomly like maybe when Angel is at the healers tent and takes Kitsune away though they don't know it's him right away because they think he's dead? Or he could take Koinu or something?)

((idk, or she could try and seduce him because she likes him, and while she does that Thoedore comes and takes Koinu because he wasen't killed by angels attack.))

"How about you come to my tent tonight for some dinner? We can talk then though right now they're calling me so I have to be off" The healer asked as she went over to Kitsune and checked her stats before leaving Angel's tent hoping that he would come tonight.

He watched her leave and wondered what that could be about. He could use the company. He would ask a trusted soldier to watch his tent for a bit while he ate dinner with the healer, he didn't see any harm in that. ANd he knew where her tent was. It was one big enough for six people without the stuff she had in there, she kept some first aid stuff there just in case and her bed and clothes. He thought about getting her into a tent the size of his so she could fit all of the stuff she needed into her tent.

Kitsune moved some with a groan though didn't seem to be awake as she stirred. Though she wasn't awake her hand clenched slightly for Angel's and her arms twitched a bit as though she were trying to move them or something. Koinu was fully asleep in her fathers lap and it didn't seem as though movement would bother her... when she could sleep she was a very heavy sleeper and wasn't easily woken.

He had a soldier that was walking by get a crib brought to his tent. He then went over to Kitsune and held her hand with one of his.

Kitsune moved a bit as she felt Angel holding her hand and tried to turn over though then gasped loudly not knowing that her ribs were broken and stayed still. Her sides were hurting so bad and she wasn't feeling very good even in her sleep. All she wanted right now was to lay with her husband and him to hold her close.... though she didn't know that that might also hurt her ribs since they were so sore.
