He followed her in. "They'll do fine, I'm sure they are ready for this, they have the skill available that they need." he said sitting on the bed and kissed his lover. "I will be fine, I may have you at my side actaully, the archrs will be fine, they have trained for years on end and are deadly accurate. You'll be with me to make sure no one gets to me, you'll be getting enemies at long range and I'll be using swords, making sure no one gets you, like in practice, just we're watching each other's back." he said.

"I guess you're right... and that does make me feel a bit better." Kitsune said softly then sat up and kissed him on the lips lovingly. For right now she didn't want to think about it... just her husband.... just her love. She then gently put a hand on each side of his face and kissed him deeply not wanting either of them to have to think about the day to come.

He kissed her back as deeply, one of his hands at the back of her neck. He laid down taking he rwith him, she was laid across him on top of him. He used his other arm to hold her close.

Kitsune kissed him even deeper and soon found herself straddling him end licking his lips some. She wanted to distract them both... they needed it and she knew it so she had no issues trying to make his lust rise. It rose so easily for her and she loved that though sometimes it was a bit inconviniant. She knew they couldn't do this all night though long enough so they could relax a bit.

His lust for her grew and he let her in using his tongue to run along hers gently. Holding her closer as she was straddling him. He knew they needed sleep, but they could do this for at least a couple of hours to have both of them relax.

Kitsune curled closer to her husband as the sun had just started to come up and the morning trumpet was played. She yawned quietly and moved some to look up at him and rested her head on his arm slightly. "Love.... it's time to wake up..." she murmured quietly and nuzzled him softly and lovingly. She then lightly traced his chest as she waited for him to answer her or show that she need to wake him up a bit more.

He awoke and looked at her in his arms in still a bit dreamy eyes. "Yeah, but I don't want to." he said. "I want to lay here for a long time, after this battle, lets do that for a day, just lay in each other's arms." He kissed her forehead, loving the feel of her tracing his chest.

"I'm sorry love we most get up... we leave in five hours and we need to prep the squad you know... and we need to eat... and get prepared ourselves." Kitsune pointed out softly and leaned up to give him a soft and loving kiss on the lips. "And I would love then though right now we need to think about the battle to come ya know. After we win this we can go and do whatever you want for however long you like" she smiled some kissing his neck softly and lovingly.

He sighed in contentment. He was a bit love drunk, and felt perfect. "Lets get this battle over with then, so that we can do just that." he said. "And so we can go home and see our daughter, and tell her we made it back safely ourselves." he sat up sliding up on the pillow and smiled at her. He kissed her softly. "Lets get what needs getting done done."

"Okay... come on" Kitsune said softly as she stood then leaned over him and kissed him softly and deeply. she then moved to get them come clothes deliberately bending over in front of him then standing with their clothes in hand and gave him his with a playful smirk. She was deffinently feeling flirtatious after last night... though only for him. She was also a bit high in the head from their fun last night. They did manage to get a good length of sleep so they weren't tired at all in the morning when they woke.

He took the clothes from her. "Thank you love." he said smiling. "I'm sure nothing can happen to us, we'll be at each other's side the whole battle." he said getting up and getting dressed. He kissed her gently. "I'll be getting us some breakfast, take your time love." he said then walked out of the tent, he went to the mess hall and got two plates of food for them, he got silverware as well and walked them back to the tent. He stoped outside and smiled. "Knock knock." he said walking in. He put the plates down and sat on one of the chairs, there was now two, for him and kitsune to sit.

Kitsune smiled as she finished getting dressed then put her hair up and got her staff ready cleaning it and cleaning her bow along with preparing new arrows. "Thank you love." she smiled as she took the food and sat down in the other chair. "How long do you think this war will take? I hope not long so we can get back to Koinu as soon as possible." she asked some then smiled at the image of their little girl running up to hug them both when they came home.

"I don't know, shortest battle I've been in was about half a week." he said. He ate a bite of food. He still needed to make sure his swords were in good condition, he'd use the ones he didn't use too much, he thought he should have them have a taste of what they wanted.

"Okay... Well I just need to do a few more things before I'm ready, do you want to train a bit before we go?" Kitsune asked softly as she finished her food then smiled softly at Angel not seeming too worried right now about the upcoming battle

Angel finished his food too. "Sounds good, it'll be a good warm up for both of us." he said. He went to get the two short swords he would use and made sure that they were properly sharpened and taken care of.

Kitsune nodded as she grabbed her staff and strapped it to her back then grabbed a sword and strapped that sheath to her back as well. "Ready?" she asked as she stood at the flap of the tent and smiled some at him ready to train and then to rest some on the way to the war zone.

He strapped the swords sheaths to his back and slide the swords into them, he grabbed a boot knife that wouldn't be seen or felt, it was very thin, yet strong, very small. He slid that into his boot where he had a hidden pocket for the boot knife to fit, no one would find that in any case.

"Shall I take that as a yes?" Kitsune smirked though hadn't grabbed anything other then her sword and staff for now... when they were going to leave she would grab her bag that she had left in the tent. She waited for him to walk out before she would go out and couldn't wait to train some before they moved out.

"Yes, lets do this, I want to make sure you can take care of us, as well as I can." he said chuckling, teasing his lover. He kissed her gently.

"Ow I'm sure I can though can you?" Kitsune teased back as they moved to the training area and she pulled out her sword ready to train in a matter of just a few minutes. "Love do remember that I have had to take care of myself and Koinu for the last year and a half, I think I will be fine on the battle field." she smirked as she put on her blindfold and waited for an attack that she knew would come.

He smiled. "Ah I do remember, and I have been doing this for about as long, and training intensely myself, so I'm sure I can do just as well." he said. He didn't pull out any weapons, he wanted to get better at hand to hand combat, well using no weapons himself. He goes around, stepping softer then he was sure Kitsune was used to, he had gotten stealthier and quicker since last time. He then goes foward from the side, tripping her, then getting a grip of her arm, lifting her, then putting her back down. He had trained quite well.

Kitsune grinned some and put her sword away feeling that he hadn't grabbed any of his weapons. She was keeping track of his movements... she could feel them even though they were so soft and light. She then grinned some and quickly grabbed his arm before he pushed her down and flipped him though was sure not to hurt him. She then lightly landed on her feet and grinned. "It'll take more then that love." she teased him lightly and wondered some how to attack. She had gotten used to using weapons though she still knew how to go hand to hand rather well. She decided she would wait for another attack before she would attack him.

He smiled and went at her, sliding under, using his arm to get her legs and push, making her land lightly onto him. He would have usaully done that differently, but as to not hurt her it worked. "I see you've gotten better." he said he kissed her lightly, then rolled from under her.

Kitsune grinned some and didn't try to even move as he did this and she fell on top of him and kissed him back "As have you" she grinned some as she stood and thought a bit still trying to think about what she wanted to do. She then grinned some as she got an idea though had to wait for the right opening. She moved quickly to a different spot and seemed to have gotten ten times faster if not more. She then moved so she could flip a few times before attempting to hook her legs around his neck and flip him.

He smiled as he stood up and caught her, flipping her as she was in mid air, then placing her head on the ground, laying her out on the ground. "That was a good one." he said. He himself had gotten faster, but he'd save his full speed for the battle that was just a few hours away.
