The guy stares at the trees that were just cut down with the swords not even close to touching and the few men readied their weaponsa nd charged the one that got in there way. Cali let them get close then cut them down. Though another had snuck up and taken Koinu before Cali was done. "Shit!" He spit as he ran in the direction he could tell that he went. He caught them just at the edge and cut the guy down catching Koinu and he smiled seeing she was okay just out. He carried her into the woods safely away from the battle and set her down standing guard while she lay unconscious.

Koinu started to wake up about 15-20 minutes later in a bit of a daze and sat up rubbing her head some and looking around slightly confused... what had happened? She couldn't exactly remember... the last thing she remembered was coming close to the battlefield... then she went blank and didn't know what had happened.

Cali smiled relieved when she came to. "Koinu! How do you feel?" he asked her concernedly. "You were almost taken and I almost wasn't fast enough to save you..."

"Cali?... Wh-what happened? The last thing I remember is coming close to the field..." Koinu asked softly seeming to have no real memory of coming onto the field at all.

"When you got close you had used an incredibe power and you were killing soliders left and right, then you were knocked out andlamost taken though I was here to save you at that point." he said telling her what she didn't remember. "And I really wish you had listened to your parents but that's not important, your safe. That's all that matters." He was happy for that one, he couldn't help but kiss her, and blush when he did.

"I'm sorry I didn't listen... I just wanted to help so bad... they never let me help with anything." Koinu said softly then blushed brightly when she felt Cali's soft lips on her but slowly closed her eyes and kissed him back hugging him softly and lovingly.

He wrapped her arms around her. "If you must be here stay with me please." he begged. He kissed her again and hugged her softly and lovingly. "I cant lose you, and I'll protect you."

"Okay." Koinu said softly with a nod before looking at Cali and smiled. "Okay just lead the way I guess." she said softly before giving him another small hug then standing with a smile.

He stood and took her hand in his. "This way." he said and led her back to the healers. He knew that Angel and Kitsune would know she's safe.

"I'm not very good at healing... but if I can get to where I can see I can use my powers again." Koinu said softly as she looked at Cali though couldn't help but smile some.

"Please don't over do yourself." he said worriedly they had reached the healers and some of them looked at their aproach but otherwise went back to work. "You can see the battle from here. How do you do that anyway can you see whos not on your side and who is? is that how you know who to kill with it?" he hoped he wasn't being rude he was just curiuous.

"All of our allies have something in the bottom of their shoes that allows me and Mom to see where they are in a way.. like sensing them. but it's easier for me to hit the enemies when I'm a bit higher... that's why I was in a tree before." Koinu said softly as she looked around a bit.

"Oh, makes sense." he said surprized. "But what are you doing to them that they're dying, I;m curious." he said pointing out a tall strong tree. "That what you looking for?" he asked curiously.

"Well... it's kinda gross to explain... but pretty much I use my psychic powers to... well stop their hearts pretty much while also destroying their minds without making them implode..." Koinu said and knew it sounded gross but that's what she was pretty much doing.

"Thats cool, sounds like it hurts but it sounds interesting." Cali said. "That'll be helpful, next war I'll make sure you can come with the healers so your able to help but not quite in danger."

Koinu nodded smiling some before she climbed up into the tree on a sturdy lower branch and could easily see the enemy. She closed her eyes for a moment before opening them and them turning purple again as she was focusing on killing anyone who looked like they were about to kill one of their allies.

The battle ended in hours and the army took little casualties. "That was easy." Angel said to Kitsune smiling and kissing her. "Lets get these men back to their families." He held her hand and walked with her back to camp with the men that he commanded and she did as well as the healers, they only lost two men and Angel was said for that but they did get sloopy so he couldn't blame himself, he did have to send his regards to their families, he'd bring them himself. Back at camp the men were rejoicing and had drinks out for the two friends. Angel sat in his tent with the doors held open. Some men needed minor healing after arriving and were off to celebrate. Cali was with Koinu in a tent that he was told was to be his.

Koinu was exhoasted after using her powers for so long and by the time they got back to camp all she wanted to do was lay curled close to Cali. "I'm sorry I worried you... thank you for saving me from that guy too." she said softly nuzzling into his side some and smiled up at him softly and tiredly.

"You know we probably should say something to Koinu... but she did help us in a big way, I don't know if we could have won without her." Kitsune said as she sat next to Angel wondering what they should do about their daughter.

Cali smiled. "all thats important is you were safe." he said. He cuddled her and smiled. "Rest you must be tired." he kissed her cheek and snuggled into her.

"Koinu needed to feel how much that drained her and she did do well, I think we should thank her for her help and let her know why she isn't in trouble for disobeying us this time, she's a good daughter and just wanted to help us." Angel said. "I just regret that I have to inform two families that they have lost loved ones, but it's the right thing. They were good men and skilled warriors, they made a fatal mess up and lost their lives unfortunately that's what happens." he said hugging her. "I'm just glad we didn't lose anyone else." He kissed her and smiled happily. "We won today."

Koinu smiled and cuddled close to Cali as she was soon fast asleep feeling exhausted but happy for she knew she had helped.

Kitsune nodded a bit then hugged Angel. "If it wasn't for Koinu we would have lost more then that." she said softly before kissing Angel lightly on the lips. " How about we get some rest? We've had a long day after all." she suggested softly giving her husband a loving smile and hug. She was sad that they had even just lost two men, but it was better then loosing all of them.

"Yeah your right, sleep sounds good." Angel said as he laid down with Kitsune and smiled happily. He cuddled her and was soon asleep.

Cali fell asleep shortly after Koinu did.

The men went to bed when they were tired and some stayed up all night not even tired.
