Ketsune sighed as she leaned against a large oak and stared up at the leaves. She loved fall... she thought it was so beautiful outside and she loved more that she didn't have to worry about not seeing the beauty of it... she lived outside after all. She sighed softly again and stood up walking around with her bow and arows looking for something that she could eat. She soon looked up and smiled seeing an apple tree and aimed hitting three apples and knocking five others out of the tree. She smiled victoriously and gathered her winnings to go and eat happily. She had been running for awhile and wondered if anyone had even tracked her this far. She had heard roomers of this one guy... he was suposed to be the best... she didn't think he could catch her though and she almost smirked and chuckled at the idea of him even being able to scratch her more or less kill her or turn her in.

Angel had been hired to capture a shifter. "Great." he said out loud not caring if anyone heard him, he knew she was armed and knew she knew how to use her bow, but he was prepared, he had a bow too, he knew how to use it too, and it could go far, it could hit her even if she didn't see him, and he always carried s couple of swords and knives as well as his assassin blades. He just wanted to get this job done and over with, he really hated tracking down shifters, it was always a bitch just to find them, let alone catch them, then even then to bring them in, but he was pretty confident that he could, he hoped. I he couldn't his reputation would be ruined.

After Ketsune had fineshed her apples she started up again running for a good twenty maybe therdy minutes before coming to a large tree. She looked around and walked to the tree where she found a small cubby hole just big enough for her to fit trew that was hidden by bushes, vines, and thorns. She quickly went around the area where the tree was in the middle of the forest with no paths and laid traps so she didn't have to worry about someone bugging her. She then walked back to the tree and shifted to her fox form once more, crawling into the small space and down farther into the hole, then curled up to gert some rest. She had her bow and airows and could use them even in her fox form if she needed to... though she dobted highly that the man could or would find her.

He noticed a smell, they had given him a picture nd something with her scent surprizingly, and he noticed that scent in the forest in a cubby hole of a tree, he got his bow from its holder and an arrow, he pulled back as far as he could with the bow and let the arrow fly missing everythng he wanted it to. It went through the tree and grazed her, he could feel the arrow cut her somewhere, he put his bow, a short bow, made of a dark natural strong wood back into it's holder on his back. He then walked in the direction he shot his arrow.

Kitsune yelped and quickly got out from where she was. She hadn't gotten scratched too back... I mostly just surprised her. She soon dashed off quickly targetting where the man was and considering how far he had shot the arow. She moved swiftly threw her traps not setting one off in the least. She ran until she got to a river then looked around for a place to move across. The river was too wide to jump and too fast to swim... had someone finally caught her? She quickly shifted to her human form and jumped into a tree climbing rather high up then jumping from branch to branch to get away.

He lost her scent and stopped, he'd find her, he went to a motel (tavern) and checked in, he then went to his room and laid down, he had to find her again, he had gotten her, but it wasen't a good enough blow, but somepart of him really didn't want to, but he didn't know why that was. He'd sleep on it he decided. HE then closed his eyes and slipped into a peaceful sleep.

(we didn't deside on one though there may still be motels even though they are in an older setting... some places then called it an inn so... that could work motel or an inn ^^)

Kitsune soon slowed down as it got dark and just sat in the tree. She held her arm where it had been bleeding and sighed heavily. The one time she had gotten to rest in about a week and she actually got hit... she would have to be careful about this guy... she hoped she had drove him off by running. Finally she went back to sleep always a light one though this one a bit deeper then the other.

He smelt her off in the distance, but didn't want to wake up, his senses were better when he was asleep or couldn't see anyway, he could even get a good shot that way too. He slept on dreamlessly, he'd get her in the morning, he was sure of that.

In the morning he awoke and walked out of the inn, and walked the way he sensed her smell, he saw her sleeping in a tree, and stealithly came up with his bow in hand, he knew what it would do at close range and fire an arrow at the branch, having it go through the branch and go through enough to go into her shoulder.

Ketsune cried out in pain when she was woken by the sharp spike in her arm. She hell from the branch though grabbed another and moved so she could flip and land safely on her feet. She tried to grab the arow to pull it out though it just hurt more even under the lightests of toutches and she knew if she pulled it out it would only blead more. She caught the sent on the wind of the man that shot her and started running the other way hoping she could get away this time... though she highly dobted it. She ran for quite some time before she finally had to slow down after some time from how much blood she had lost and how weak she was now feeling. Normally she could heal the wound... though this time she couldn't even remove the arow so it could heal. She didn't colaps... she just stud there staring at her arm and unable to move... she refused to be caught sitting, kneeling, or laying on the ground... she wouldn't bow to anyone...

He caught up to her easily and from behind put his special contraption on her, it was meant to hold her wrist and ankles in a tight grip, unbreakable. "I finally got you." He walked around and saw her face, it was a bit more of a noticable jump. "I m sorry about that arrow, I have specail arrows that prevent creatures that can heal from doing so, it's a pain for them, and it makes them weaker as you can see for yourself." He kind of wantedto let her go, take the arrow out for her, for he was the oly one that could take that arrow out.

"Why do you care if I hurt?! You just want me for the bounty and that's it! Dead or alive they don't care so why should you?!" Ketsune hissed though soon found it harder to stand and finally gave in and let her legs cave under her so she was now on her knees. Everything was spinning and she had never felt this way... weak... painfilled... broken and given up... someone had finally caught her... she would eather die to this man or be taken in and killed by the lay and exiqutioner... like it really mattered now.

"I don't know, it's a mystery to me really." he answered. "You know, when I first came after you, I didn't care about you, just your bounty as you said, but now I do care if you hurt for some unfathomable reason." he really didn't know why he care so much. Usaully he could just hand in his targets and not care about what happened to them, but this one he felt differently about. "If I get this arrow out of you, promise not to kill me, as long as I don't go after you." he says kneeling in front of her.

Ketsune blinked some and thought... she could do that right? If he didn't turn her in... she could swear not to kill him right? "I... swear I won't" she murmured though couldn't even stay consious anymore... she had lost so much blood and her body was so weak... she couldn't take it so she had to let herself pass out... she just hoped he wasn't lying to her... for some odd reason she trusted that he wasn't though...

He pushed the arrow all the way through and broke the head of then took the shaft out, he laid her on the trunk of the tree and stayed with her.

Ketsune cried some when she felt the arow being pushed farther into her arm then the shaft being pulled out. She calmed a bit after that and was finally able to rest. The wound healed quickly and she was now just sleeping leaned against the tree. Her mind was blank and no thoughts came up... until she started to become aware again. She vaguly remembered that the man was there... and that he had removed the arow from her arm. Slowly Ketsune started to come to and opened her slightly blured eyes not fully concious yet.

(so was the cuff thingies still on her arms and anckle? and it's perfactly fine ^^ )

He noticed her started to regain consciousness and spoke to her. "You heal fast, it was cool to see." he said looking at her face, seeing her somewhat blurred eyes. "That arrow will make you feel a bit sleepy for a couple of days as a side affect." he warned her. "So don't go climbing trees to high or anything." he didn't know why he was begining to care for this being he was sent to capture.

"Then what does it matter that you're not going to turn me in? You don't... someone else will if I can't get away... I can't climb like this... I can barely see right now... really the only thing I could probably do right now is shoot my bow and arow." Ketsune said still staring ahead though soon turned her gaze to him. She hadn't lost the fight... she was just down for the count and not doing too good.

He took off his cuff contraption. "So I shall help you until you can help yourself, I mean if you wish me to, you've seen my skill with a bow, when I'm trying not to kill someone, I have very good aim." he says. "I could be like an unpaid mercenary, if you will, until you can continue." he didn't know why he was willing to help.

"Huh... thanks... I don't know why you would do that... what your reasoning it... but thanks." Ketsune said then moved herarms from behind her flexing her just about numb hands. She flinched some, though, when she moved the arm that had gotten hit... the muscles and nurves were aching now. She may have healled... though she can't stop that... and she still was very low on blood... she could feel that and the lightheadedness. She really didn't get why she was so lightheaded... or why her eyesight was still blurred... why she felt numb. She just didn't know.

"I have my reasons, some personal, some not, but all the same, I do want to make sure you can fight off all the other lesser assassins, I am the best, but I do have times where I know that my target doesn't deserve to be killed by me or otherwise." he says. "So do you wish for me to help you, if not I can leave you alone if that's what you wish for me to." he thought about that. "But I'd take my help until you can fight for yourself."

"How... Never mind... uh... I guess I'll take your help... thanks..." Ketsune murmured softly before leaning forward and putting her elbows on her raised knees and her hands turned sideways over her eyes. Everything just seemed to want to spine and be blurry... she had never ever felt this way... course she hadn't ever been cought either.

"I think it would be smart to get you out of the open, I've got a room rented at a nearby in, I can hide you there for a bit." he says, taking his hooded cloak off, and wrapping it around her and put the hood up. Now his armor really showed, it was simple and fit him perfectly, it moved with him in gracefully unnoticable movements, it was more like protective clothing then anything else. "Do you trust me to do that?" he asked.

Ketsune looked up at him for a long moment... thinking deeply then nodded. "Um... could you please help me up? I... I don't know if I can.... I don't even know how long I can stand without my knees caving... I may be a shifter... I may heal quickly... but I can't just multiply my blood... that takes quite awhile... I know I lost half or more of my blood... that was my own falt... I ran even though I knew you would catch me at some point." she murmured softly still seeming a bit jassled... it would take some time for her to regain her full eyesight as well... though she didn't tell him that... she really didn't even want to tell him how low she was on blood... she thought it made her sound weak... she wasn't weak at all...
