She thought about it for a moment. "Well, lets see. I'm 17, don't like to be told what to do, obviously can hunt and hmm i like you." She smiled at him wickedly.

Jake giggled and then blushed "oh.... thank you... i like you too" he said as he blushed more and struggle to keep himself from bursting

She looked at him with amusement. He was just so cute when he blushed. She noticed he was expanding again. "Hey I thought you were coming back down, not blowing back up." She looked at him with concern.

Jake giggled as he was lovestruck again "i can't help it, your making me feel... lovestruck" he admitted

She was taken aback slightly. "L-lovestruck?" She liked Jake it was true, but love? She felt a little confused as she thought about the way he made her feel. Was this what love was? Perhaps she was starting to fall for him little by little.

Jake stopped growing and he sighed "yeah it stupid i know... but i guese thats just me" he said and started to feel deppresed at the fact she probably still hated him, his body began to slowly returned to its normal size (its what happens when he is deppresed)

She looked at him with shock. "I don't think it's stupid at all." She watched as his body returned to its normal size much faster than before. "Hey it looks like you are getting the hang of it!" She smiled at him and then noticed the look on his face. She stopped and put her hand up to his cheek. "Hey now whats wrong? Did I do something to make you sad?" Concern radiated from her eyes as she spoke to him.

Jake shook his head "you probably hate me... thats why im normal... i always deflate when depressed... but hey, we all get depressed" he walked near a tree and sat down, he was still depressed and was also misrible now

She was shocked. Sure they hadn't had the best start but she had thought he could tell that she cared for him now, especially now that they had kissed and that she was trying to help him control his ability. She walked over to him, a hurt look on her face. "I thought you knew better than that by now. I don't hate you at all in fact I-i think I'm starting to love you a little."
She watched him with a guarded expression as she waited for his response. She wanted to just take him in her arms but held herself back, unsure of what he would say to her after telling him about the way she felt.

Jake looked at her a bit shocked "r-really?" he asked and blushed a little, he looked away to hide his face as he blushed bright read

She smiled as she watched him turning red. Walking over to where he sat she slid down the trunk of the tree next to him. "Yes, really."

Jake looked at her smiling, he felt his body tingling again and he sighed "oh not again" he said as he looked down

She grinned at him. "Ok here's a good chance to try and control your power. Just concentrate. Maybe think of something other than what's causing you to inflate." She gave him an encouraging smile as she watched him.

Jake thought for a second and then giggled "BUNNIES!!!" he said as he began rolling on the floor laughing "PINK FLUFFY BUNNIES!!!"

She was taken aback for a moment. Then as she started to picture pink fluffy bunnies hopping around she started to giggle. It was quite funny when you thought about it. She burst out laughing at the image in her head as well as Jake rolling around on the ground.

Jake finnaly calmed down and he smiled "i guese a good laugh does cure everything" he said giggling "ok... what should we do now?... i think we should get moving... we need to get as far as we can"

She nodded. Yes, it was about time they continued on their way. She walked back over to their camp and went about getting everything ready to leave. It was about mid-day and a light breeze was blowing through the sun dappled trees. Now, which way should they go?

She walked back over to him, a slight frown on her face. "Ok let's get going but first, which way do you think we should go? I'm not sure but I think the way we've been going isn't going to help us find a new home for the village." She looked over at him, waiting to see what he would say.

Jake listened to her and pondered "hmmmmmm.... we could head that way" he said pointing "that seems a good way to go"

She nodded and smiled at him. "Ok then, let's get going." She started to walk towards the way he had pointed, waiting on him to catch up with her before setting a brisk pace. It was a beautiful day, without any clouds in sight. She felt happier than she had in quite awhile. It was a wonderful day and she had a boy who she was starting to fall in love with beside her. It couldn't get any better than this.

Jake caught up with her and looked around, he giggled a bit and looked at her threw the corner of his eye, he looked fully at her and blushed "have i ever told you you look beautiful?" he said blushing bright red

She looked at him with a bit of surprise and then smiled, her face flushing slightly. "You really think so? Your so sweet." Unable to help herself she stopped and gave him a light kiss on his lips. "I don't think anyone has ever said that to me." She reached down and took his hand as they continued to walk.

Jake smiled "thank you" he blushed a bit more at the kiss and felt funny on the inside, he then giggled a bit "well everyone should say it, you are a queen of beauty" he said holding her her hand smiling

Startled she looked over at him. Smiling she squeezed his hand gently. "You're very good looking as well if I do say so myself."

As they continued on their way the trees started to space out gradually until finally they came to the edge of the woods. In front of them was the biggest meadow Suri had ever seen before. "Wow," she breathed out.

Jake cotinued to blush and he was managing to stay normal "thank you" he said "and i am accualy doing it.... look im still normal" he giggled

Jake saw the meadow and his jaw almost dropped "wow... thats a HUGE meadow"

"Yeah it looks like your starting to get the hang of it! That is awesome progress." Suri stared out at the meadow, amazed at how it seemed to stretch out forever. Slowly, "You know...I think I've heard about this. I don't think it's a meadow at all. I'm pretty sure this is called the grasslands. I've heard it stretches out just as far as the forest and has it's own share of dangers."

She scanned the area, looking for anything that could threaten them, but when all stayed still she shrugged her shoulders. "Well as long as we're careful, we shouldn't have anything to worry about. Just stay on your guard. Who knows what that tall grass could be hiding."
