Jake giggled and smile "ok..." he hugged her gently and giggled again "since we are in a wide open area can i please inflate... i will go to normal if anything comes"
She grinned at him. "Sure go right ahead, just be careful." The wind was blowing softly, making the grass ripple slightly. It was actually quite peaceful here.
Jake jumped abit "YAY!" he said as he began to blow up again "i will be careful" he said as he slowly started to tower upwards
Suri giggled at Jake's excitement. She watched, fascinated as he began to enlarge again. No matter how many times she saw it, it always amazed her. He was something else that was for sure. "While your up there, keep an eye out for anything that looks strange. Wouldn't want to come up on something dangerous anytime soon, that's for sure."
Jake heard her and giggled a bit "i defantly will" he said as he soon reached his maximum size and stopped "i can't see anything yet" he called down to her
"Well no point in just standing here, we might as well get started." She started to walk forward into the tall grass. It came up to her waist as she waded in. A slight wind was blowing, cooling her pleasantly. This could be a possible site for the village if they could find game. There was no point in moving anyone if food or water couldn't be found. She felt herself relaxing slightly when nothing popped out at her after a while.
Jake giggled as the wind blew against him gently "i love this place" he said as he looked around and giggled again "and still no sign of nasty animals that could eat us"
Suri smiled up at him. "Yes I love this place too. It's so peaceful." She relaxed a bit more, confidant that Jake would let her know if he saw anything. "I hope we come across a source of water soon. I filled up our containers but they won't last us forever."
Jake smiled and he looked down at her "i think i see some water" he said as he giggled again "we just keep walking strait ahead and then it will be there"
She felt a wave of relief pass over her. She hadn't wanted to alarm him, but she had been worried about not being able to find any water. As they continued walking she finally caught a glimpse of water after a few more minutes. They came up on a small lake. As they approached she caught a glimpse of the first animal she had seen since they had started in the grasslands. It looked like a small cat. It had fur the color of gold with brown spots on it. It was drinking from the lake.
She spoke quietly, not wanting to scare the animal off. "Look over there. It looks like a cat." |
Jake walked with her as he could see it from far of, when then they got it is he giggled "we made it" he saw the cat and started to shuffle behind her "it might use its claws on me"
"Don't worry, I'll protect you." As they got closer they must have made some sort of noise. The cat looked up at them with sea green eyes and bolted. "Well it looks like you don't have to worry about it now." She walked over towards the water but stayed a few feet away from the waters edge. Who knew what was lurking in the water?
Jake watched the cat bolt of and sighed with releife "that was close, he could have attacked us" he looked at the water and giggled "can i do a cannon ball into the water? i might even float"
She went a little closer to the water and found she could see all the way to the bottom. The water was crystal clear. She looked around for anything dangerous but only saw a few colorful fish. "Well....I don't see anything in the water. Maybe you should wait until we make sure it's safe." She looked at him, worry written all over her face. She didn't want anything to happen to him, he was too important to her.
Jake looked at the water then her face and then sighed and giggled "sure, waiting for a bit wont hurt anyone" he giggled as he looked into the water "i see nothing deadly in there though"
Suri looked again and didn't see anything either. "I don't see anything either. Go ahead just be careful." She smiled at him as she got out their containers to fill them up. Then she sat down on the bank to watch his cannonball.
Jake took a few steps back and then ran (waddled fast) and jumped up and landed in the water sending water almost everywhere, he giggled as he could feel he was floating "look! im a boat!" he called out and giggled while moving around a bit "im a boat, im a bat, im a boat"
Suri put her hand out to shield her face as the water splashed her. She laughed as he called out that he was a boat over and over. He was just so cute sometimes. She watched the water, making sure nothing was going to come up on him suddenly. She wasn't sure just how fast he could get out of the water if something happened.
Jake giggled as he floated around looking at all the fish "i see lots of cute little fishies" he said as he floated towards her "hehehe, im a floater" he said to her and giggled "come on in and join me"
The water was very tempting and she still hadn't seen any signs of danger. Shrugging she pulled off her shoes and stripped down to her undergarments and dove in. The water was surprisingly warm. She swam over to Jake treading water as she stopped. "This is amazing."
Jake giggled as he floated next to her "i know, i love it" he said and giggled "i just had a funny image in my head, you know im like a boat?"
She grinned at him. "Yep. What kind of funny image did you have?" She was curious as to what he had thought up now.
Jake pointed to the land "i thought of me being normal size, you climbed on me then i began to inflate like a raft and then pushing out into the water" he said giggling
She grinned as the image filled her head. She started to swim back towards the shore. "Well come on let's do it!"
Jake deflated quickly and swam back to he shore "ok then" he said as he laid down on his front "ok,im ready when you are" he giggled as he waited
