Elly had grown restless, but watching Josephs tattoos appear made her take in a deep breathe.They were nothing she had ever seen before.But, Elly didn't let that remove her from the subject.As Joseph spoke, she waited in silence until he finally admited what he did.'Like a assisin?'Elly asked quizzically.No wonder why he didn't want to say it in front of that lady.For a brief moment, Elly felt uneasy.No wonder why he looked so much older, so different.A part of her wanted to comfert him, tell him that everything was okay but it wasn't.'Why are you a assin now?You're better at painting and so many other things...'Ellys sentence broke off as her eyes then dropped to his arms.It was so tempting, like a itch beneath her skin to throw herself back into his lap.How could she miss something so simple within just a few minutes?Elly chewed on her lower lip until she finally asked one of the questions that had been bugging her.'How many people have you killed...?'Elly swallowed back the nervousness in her voice.She didn't know what emotions were flickering inside of her.Was this all her fault, for geting captured?Could she have prevented it?No..no ofcourse not.Thats when her eyes met his face and then the BIG guns came out.'What about girls?Have you imprinted with anyone else?!'That was her main concern.Okay, sure it might have been abit dumb to wonder if he had drank from someone else..or none the less did it with someone else.But Elly was so use to having Joseph at her side that she never wanted to be separated.What happend before she couldn't help..she had to understand that.Elly sucked in a breath as the light in her eyes slowly died out at the very thought of him being with someone else.Because boys will be boys.'What happend to your hair?'Elly finally asked.She hadn't been really observing his hair but mostly his face.As she asked, Elly kept her hands to herself.Waiting for anwsers, abit afraid of what they might be.

"Yes." Joseph whispered softly as she spoke the true name of his job. "Im an assasin..." he whispered as if the word itself was a one way ticket to hell, well one where Hades wouldn't favor him in. He then looked up at her eyes and met them with strength, at least as much as he could bare. "35." he said and then ran a hand threw his black hair. "Its the only job that would keep supplying me with enough money, and clues to finding you. I wasn't going to sit around and paint or draw or talk to others who would search for you. And as soon as I left the academy people came after ME. I had to kill to protect my own life... And it was then I knew if I wanted to save you, I couldn't keep my hands clean. All the people I killed were involved with the corperation who was holding you. All of my money is supplied by the people who are trying to save all the others like you from those twisted people." he explained and then flinched and took a step back, as if her words had slapped him across the face. "Fed? Imprinted?" he whispered, cut to the bone, hurt ringing in his voice. "Ive been living off of donated blood since you left... Mostly the stuff they don't use in the hospitals...." he whispered and then slid to the floor and leaned against the wall. "How could I-? how could you think-?" he whispered miserably and shook his head. "I would kill myself before I betrayed you and touched another..." he whispered with all seriousness and strength. He then ran s ahnd threw his shortened side of hair, sighing. "Another assasin from the corperation, thought it would be cute to drug me, and then hang me by my own hair..." he said and brushed the scar on his neck. "I was forced to cut it to save my own life, and that man regretted every second after I was freed..." he hissed softly, his anger apparent. The tattoos weren't the only new thing adorning his body, many new scares were there as well.

Elly watched Joseph with caution.Apparently her word has slapped him in the face as it all came out as one big rush.Elly didn't mean to get into a fuss but, she remebered how many people would've done anything to steal Joseph from her.Standing up and walking across the room, she sat herself down next to him and laced her hand through his.Almost as if she was going to pull him into her own lap, just to comfert him.Even though it was wrong, it should've been right.'I understand.'Elly murmured, her eyes staring where they once sat at.'I was only asking because I know bloodlust can make us do things we dont want to do.'Elly spoke the words so soundly.She remebered when she drank Josephs blood.Her entire body had a reaction she never had even heard of.'You have to do what you have to do, but so do I.'Her tone was dead center serious.With drawing her eyes, she then stared at Joseph.Nothing had changed, but she knew the virus in the inside was what counted the most.'I wont let them kill you, nor will I let you go.'She knew Nyx would be proud of her, to find the right words to say and comfert her lover.But she also knew the killing would have to stop adventully.I belong to you, you belong to me.Thats the way things were meant to be.The words tormented her mind as she stared into her lovers eyes, reaching her free hand to stroke his cheek in a loving gesture.It felt as though Elly was stone, but she knew that Joseph himself could change how she felt in an instant.She would have to try to not be separated from him, this way he wouldn't have to kill.

Joseph smiled slowly as she threaded his fingers with Elly's. Leaning against her softly and sighing he nodded. "You know just what to say." he whispered and then kissed her cheek lovingly. He then pulled her against him happiy. He then closed his eyes and leaned against her. He felt so peaceful now that it was amazing. "I love you so much Elly." he whispered gently.

Elly smiled up at Joseph, no words leaving her lips.Leaning against him the same way he leaned against her, she ran her thumb over his knuckles.'I love you too Joseph, more then you'll ever know.'And as Elly spoke this, she knew it was true.The way his voice sounded made her shiver.Everything about him had changed so much, even the compassion they shared appeared stronger.Clearly if a guy went through so much trouble just to find one girl..that had to be love.It was crazy, but it was love.Elly knew Joseph could have any girl he wanted with just, well, being him.But he was all hers and the thought of that made Elly grin.'So beautiful.What first?'Elly teased, when called him beautiful.

Joseph's heart was doing backflips for joy as he heard Elly tell him what he wanted to hear. It made his chest squeeze happily knowing that she held his heart and he held hers. Thinking he was about to say something when a blush invaded his cheeks. Beautiful? He wasn't beautiful. "The only beautiful one here is you." he said lovingly and then kissed her nose. Looking up, there was a knock. Getting up he opened the door and took their drinks from the girl. Shutting the door once more he then grinned at Elly and held up the glasses. "Margarita time." he said with a grin.

Elly blinked in suprise as Joseph held up the drinks.Chuckeling, Elly shook her head and stood up.Vampyres couldn't get drunk off of alcohol, so if it tasted good they could drink this stuff for awhile.Even Elly knew the only thing she could get drunk of was Josephs blood.The very thought of it made her shiver.Yawning lightly, Elly glanced at Josephs grin.'I can see that.'Elly noted as she laughed lightly.She was beginning to get tired, which meant the sun would be up soon.

Winking Joseph nodded and then smiled widely at her. "Yes, these babies have been my sanity, they taste amazing, and are cold, so they cool me down." he said happily and then took a drink closing his eyes. Nodding he then licked some sugar from the side of his mouth and wrapped his arm around Elly and rested his forhead on hers. "You know.... You've gotten more beautiful since I last saw you... Have you seen yourself?" he asked curiously and brushed his lips against her forehead lovingly.

Elly simpley nodded and took a big sip out of hers.Yeah, it tasted good, really good.After that, she then returned back to reality with the brush of Josephs lips on her forhead.Elly closed her eyes, enjoying that very moment with his lips on her forhead.She remebered how when she was really awake the way those lips felt on her own.'No, I haven't.'Elly replied gently.She noticed her hair had gotten longer but really, what else changed?

Looking at Elly Joseph smiled widely. "Well then love. You should see. " he whispered and then led her to the mirror. He then smiled standing behind her. "You have always been a goddess.... But now you are the most beautiful bein in the world." he whispered lovingly and smiled looking at her in the mirror.

The first thing that caught Ellys eye was her new tattoos.The warm saphire caressed her cheeks, her neck, all along her body.Breathless, she then looked herself over.Ellys hair had gotten longer, way longer.It was thick and alive, hanging around her waist.Ellys once brown eyes were now a emerald green.'I completed the change.'Elly whispered, breathless.Elly reached her hand up to touch the reflection in the mirror to make sure it was her own, and of course it was.She didn't look like how she use to, infact she looked like an entirely new person.Her body took on a new shape, like a hour glass and her chest well..nothing to complain about.Her legs had gotten longer along with her torsoe.To be honest, Elly loved the change.But her eyes kept on coming back to the intricate elegant lines that caressed her warm skin.With a jolt of joy and warmth spreading through out her body, she soon recongized the element.Spirit.Spirit was filling her now.Glancing up at Joseph with warm content eyes, her lips lifted to show off those wonderful white teeth.'I have changed alot, but your still the best looking one.'Elly remarked, in a serious tone as she wrapped her arms around Josephs neck.'Seriously, Nyx should give you a zit or a wart.Your just too perfect.'Elly teased.Clearly she was feeling better, being back here with Joseph.But the sun would be up soon and once again Elly would have to sleep.

Nodding Joseph looked Elly over lovingly before looking into her eyes as she wwdapped an arm around her. "Well I still think you're wrong gorgeous." he said lightly and kissed her lovingly upon those amazing lips. Feeling the sun getting closer to comming up he took another drink from his glass and then set it down on the dresser. "Lets get some rest. We have a good ten hours to fly, and some sleep sounds amazing to me." he said lightly and offered his hand to Elly after pulling back the covers upon the bed.

Elly yawned sweetly, missing Josphs lips once more.It was just a desire that wouldn't be filled, not for awhile.Walking towards him, slipping her hand into his she simpley ploped down on the bed and tuged him along with her.Already Ellys eyes were trying to fight to stay open.'I dont want to be separated from you ever again.'Elly murmured softly as she nuzzeled her head against his surprisingly soft chest.Joseph was wonderful, he was everything she wanted.Elly remained snuggeled against him, her head laying on his chest and her legs completely entangeled all about him.She only wanted to be with him, just him.

Smiling Joseph laid down, cradling Elly lovingly as she laid her hea against his chest. "You will never be taken away again. I promise." he whispered lovingly and then closed his eyes, soon out cold. Today had been a long day.

Elly had quickly drifted off to sleep.Her mind remaining blank as she slept.The only thing she truely wanted was to wake up and to be with Joseph again.But the sun..the sun whenever it came up made her so tired and disorinted.As Elly slept, she found herself cling'ing onto Josephs shirt.But as she left, objects in the room begun to move and by move, I mean hover.And thats when Elly had a nightmare.She had no clue how much time passed, but clearly it had been long enough because when her eyes snapped open and she sat straight up, everything crashed into its spot.Elly begun to hibervanlet as she curled up and held her legs to her chest.Facing away from Joseph she tried to tell herself it was just a dream, a dream she didn't remeber.But she swore her heart was about ready to pound right out of her chest.

Joseph woke with a start as everything crashed and looked around Wooried. Seeing Elly he frowned and wrapped his arms around her slowly, pulling her to him. "Elly? What's wrong?" he asked softly as he held her close and lovingly.

N-n-nightmare.'Elly stuttered.Feeling herself being moved, she almost jumped but she knew those arms.She knew it was Joseph.Not waiting another second she sat in his lap, pressing her face into his chest, cling'ing onto his shirt.That was the last thing she wanted.To have a nightmare and not even remeber what it was about.Ellys heart soon begun to calm down, but her body still trembled.'I cant even remeber what it was about!'This came out as a frustrated whisper, as she remained close to Joseph, being held and entraped in his arms.

Joseph smiled easurinly and rubbed Elly's back softly. "Im sorry..." he whispered and then cupped her face and pulled her to look into his eyes. "But remember... I'm always righ here... And nothing... Not even dreams... Will hur you when I am here." he whispered lovingly and then kissed her nose in attempt to see her smile and blush.

As Elly was forced to stare at Joseph, she found herself blushing a light red as he kissed her nose.He still gave her the chills whenever he did that.'Okay..ill remeber..'Elly breathed out as she stared at his eyes, completely stunned and captivated.Her hands rested against Josephs.And for that moment, Elly truely felt safe, felt completely pulled back into reality.'I love you Joseph, and ill never stop loving you.'Elly murmured gently as she nuzzeled his cheek.

Joseph smiled and nodded hearing elly. "Good... Because it's something you should never forget..." he whispered lovingly. Feeling her lean forward and nuzzle hid cheek made him chuckle and his eyes shine like emeralds. "I still need to shave... I'm a bit scruffy." he said with a laugh and held Elly happily, wanting to cheer her up and make her smile like the sun.

Elly chuckeled at Joseph.'Why shave?Your alot more attractive with the fuzzys.'Elly remarked playfully as she stoped nuzzeling his cheek.It was true.Elly had a thing for 5-oclock after shave.Feeling like a weirdo and blushing lightly she simpley rested her head against Josephs chest.The very sound of his heart beat supplied her with wonderful comfert.He makes everything okay Nyx..thank you for giving him to me.Was Ellys brief thought as she relaxed, almost as if she never had a nightmare.

Joseph chuckled and shook his head. "Alright I won't shave until it's a bit longer then." he said lightly and then held her tightly and lovingly.

Elly stuck her tounge out at Joseph.So her opinion did matter, weird.'What time is it?'Elly asked as she stretched.After what transpired she didn't know if she'd actully be able to go back to sleep.

Looking at his watch Joseph showed Elly himself. It was only ten, and they had left at six. "You should try falling back asleep." he said softly and reached out, running a gentle and loving hand threw her hair. He then shook his head and closed his eyes. "I can't wait for you to see our home... It's wonderful. Not too big not too small... It has a beautiful garden and a wonderful view of the hill I plan to build the temple on." he said softly and smiled imagining it well.

Elly glanced down at Josephs watch, completely baffeled at the time.But her thoughts quickly with drew from the time when his hand ran through her hair.A warm smile spread across her lips as all the tension from the nightmare disolved, a calm sleepy pool tuging at her consioness.'Tell me more about our new home?'Elly whispered, her voice dazed as one of her hands still clung unto Josephs shirt, unmoving, not loosening.She didn't want to let go.Infact Elly just wanted to remain in his lap and rest against him.
