Shadow unwillingly quickened his pace, and he gratefully accepted the offered towel around his shoulders. He tugged it down a little more, unfolding it completely so it wrapped around his entire torso. The man let out a long sigh of contentment before he shuffled closer to Hebs, waiting for him to lead the way inside...if they were going to wake Gian and Alfie up, they would have an excuse to hide away in their rooms for a while while they changed into proper clothes.

Léan blinked, puzzled, and then followed the human's eyes down to his tail, which was still swishing around. "...Most of the time, yes," he replied, simply, after swallowing a mouthful of fish.

Hebs put his hand on Shadow's back and led the way in. Stopping only, though, when he'd put Shadow in front of the fire alarm, he gave the other a light pat on the shoulders and grinned. "At the count of three," he told him as he continued on his way to Gian's bedroom door. Turning to look over at Shadow, he raised his index finger, third finger and then the ring finger before he turned the knob and pushed it open.

"There's fire! You two! Get up and get out, quick!"

Gian had already stirred awake a few minutes before Hebs had shouted that but he hadn't expected it at all. It still made him jump before he'd frozen on the spot. Fires were never something he'd gotten over with. He didn't mind the fire from the stove since that was normal but this one - the uncontrolled one... it freaked him out.

Kratos hummed lightly before he'd finished his meal and washed it down with water. He waited for Léan to finish eating and turned to look over his shoulder to the kitchen door where he was sure he'd heard Gian's voice. "Damn Shadow. Making Hebs do a prank." It wasn't in Hebs' nature to prank. He did it rarely but that was what he liked about him. He just disliked the fact that this one was initiated by Shadow himself.

Shadow stood by the fire alarm and studied it for a brief moment. While Hebs made his way to the door, he disconnected one of the small wires of the alarm. Apparently, it was the wire that would automatically notify the police and fire department. By the time he had done that, Hebs was just starting his countdown.

The moment the other male spoke, he turned the fire alarm on. It was low on batteries and only made a sound that would reverberate through the house and not outside.

Alfie was in a very deep sleep. He didn't wake up at the sound of Hebs' voice, but he did indeed stir a bit when Gian jumped. "...Mama...I dun wanna get up yet, mama..." his voice was riddled with sleep, and he most certainly was not awake yet.

Léan made a face as well when he heard the prank occurring. "...Why Shadow feels the need to constantly tease Alfie, and now Gian, especially...I don't know..." he muttered, shaking his head as he finished off the last few bites of his fish.

Hebs' eyes widened when he'd seen the look on Gian's face and he turned his gaze to Shadow to make a signal to cut off the fire alarm. He quickly looked guilty and embarrassed as he came over to the bed. "We were only kidding, Gian," he told the stunned and stiff teen who was still in Alfie's arms, "There's no fire." Observant. Hebs was observant, which was why he could notice even the miniscule of fear flashing in one's eyes.

Gian took his time relaxing and when he did, he rested his forehead against Alfie's own and let out a deep breath. He'd even shut his eyes momentarily before he'd felt his own cheeks burn from having been found out. "It's fine," he assured Hebs with a grin before he pulled his head back to look at Alfie. Reaching up, he pulled at Hebs' nose and leaned in to kiss him on the lips. "If you don't wake up, I'm going to make out with you in front of Shadow and Hebs."

Kratos grunted. He really disliked the pranks. "Shadow finds... satisfaction in doing it, it seems."

Shadow chuckled, apparently not swayed by the fear in Gian's expression, and turned the alarm off. Being a heavenly sort of being, the petty fears of humans usually didn't register very well with him. It made him a little cold when it came to pranking people and sometimes even poking fun...

Alfie snuggled up against Gian, making a rumbling purring sound deep in his chest. He wasn't quite awake yet, but he had heard what Gian had said. "...Mm...I don't care..." he muttered, voice thick with exhaustion. He didn't mind kissing in front of Hebs and Shadow...

Léan shrugged slightly, stretching himself out more in the human's arms. He seemed much more at ease with him...

Hebs blinked when Gian had just done what he had said he would do. He watched Gian take those lips of Alfie's into a kiss while threading those fingers of his through the naga's hair. Hebs quickly turned his head away and shook his head before he chuckled and went on out the room. "Heat up the food in the kitchen," he told them, "If you're hungry."

Shutting the door behind him, he leaned against it for a few seconds before he turned to look at Shadow. "Sorry. I couldn't do it." Not after what he'd seen on Gian's face. He knew that fear all too well and he wouldn't want to make it any worst. "You better get changed after a hot bath. Do you need me to scrub your back for you?"

Kratos turned to look at the merman and he tilted his head a little. He seemed... comfortable with him. That was a good sign, right? "Do you want to go back to your tank?" he asked, looking quite curious.

Alfie made a soft groaning sound and snuggled up more against Gian, accepting the offered kiss and reaching up, absently, to rest one of his hands on the back of his head. He was not fully awake yet. As such, his movements were heavy, uneven, and clumsy.

Shadow grinned, slightly apologetically. "...I don't need someone to scrub my back for me, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't appreciate the help..." he hummed, turning and heading back towards his room. A hot bath sounded all kinds of nice...

Léan blinked slightly, studying Krato's expression uncertainly. "...I don't feel much like moving," he decided, simply.

Gian didn't deepen the kiss. He just made it linger. Somehow, someway, the kiss was able to keep his heart rate at bay and relax him from that tensed form he had been in not very long ago. A slight chuckle, though, rumbled from the back of his throat at the others' heavy, uneven and clumsy movements. He didn't mind it though and let his eyes slide shut as he lightly stroked the back of his head with his thumb.

Hebs smiled slightly at that and nodded. He might as well get himself a hot bath, too, to soak into. Rubbing lightly at his chest, he made his way to his bedroom and shut the door behind him.

Kratos nodded and leaned back on the chair while he kept Léan close. "I don't, too," he admitted as he relaxed.

Alfie was the one to break the kiss, finally, when his stomach began to grumble. "...Mm...I need food..." he complained blearily, clinging to Gian like he was his lifeline out of the bedroom. "Can you help me get up? I have a feeling I'll fall over on my own..."

Shadow took Hebs' advice and took a nice, hot bath for himself. He didn't mind soaking alone, and he also wouldn't have minded company. It was mere minutes before he finished and had changed into proper clothes. He didn't want to linger in the bath, for some reason.

Léan sighed softly, relaxing a bit. So Kratos didn't want to move either...that was a bit of a relief.

Gian chuckled lightly at that. It was nice how he could come to completely relax with Alfie. "Yeah," he started before he'd kissed him lightly once more on the lips, "I'll need you to get off of the bed, though, first. Come on. I'll help you stand."

Hebs took his time soaking in the tub unlike Shadow. But, after a few minutes, he had gotten out, changed into clean clothes and went back out to rub the towel vigorously at his hair. He remembered Kratos and Léan. They should be done eating by now so he might as well clean the kitchen and wash their dishes.

Alfie slid his arms around Gian's back, using him as support. "Okay...move backwards, hmm? I should be able to balance on my own..." Once Alfie slid off of the bed and straightened himself out, he was still using Gian for support for a few seconds. When he was finally steady enough on his own, he released the human. "Lead the way...time to chow down."

Shadow was feeling antsy, for some reason. Now that everyone was awake, well...he could share his idea about the walk-through show. He made his way out towards where Kratos and Léan were sitting.

Léan uncertainly rested his head on Kratos' chest when Shadow walked in, studying the Ringleader with curiosity in his expression. Having known Shadow for longer than the rest of them, it was easy for the merman to tell when the man had something on his mind.

Gian nodded at the other's question and he made sure to keep Alfie up until he could stand on his own. Once he could, he straightened out his shirt a little before he'd grinned. "Yeah." He could feel his own stomach grumbled and he brought up his hand to rub at his stomach. The male lead them out of his room and to the hallway toward the kitchen.

Once he was there, he greeted a, "Good morning," to Kratos, Shadow and Léan before going off to heat up his and Alfie's food.

Hebs was surprised to see everyone in the kitchen and he raised a brow in slight amusement. "We don't eat breakfast together but you all gather in the kitchen?" he asked jokingly before he moved to start washing Léan's and Kratos' plate.

Kratos turned to look at Shadow and he watched him as he continued holding Léan close. He did enjoy their close proximity even if it made him silently nervous.

Alfie slithered along after Gian eagerly, stomach making grumbling sounds of protest and egging him to move faster. He was too focused on food to want to greet everyone else--his eyes were fixed on the kitchen greedily.

Shadow waited for everyone to be in or very close to the kitchen. He leaned against the counter once everyone was and cleared his throat. "Seeing as we're all going to get bored in the next few days, guaranteed...why don't we hold a mini-show while we're here? A walk-through show?"

At the very mention of this, a frown graced Léan's features. He was not very fond of walk-through shows mostly because he had to deal with people wanting to see him do silly tricks and entertain them. There was a chance he might enjoy it more if Kratos was in the same area with him, or very close by.

Gian blinked. "A mini-show? What's that?" Turning to look at Hebs, he watched him shrug and then took out his and Alfie's plate from the microwave to put Alfie's share on the counter. "I don't mind."

Kratos looked a little annoyed but he supposed it couldn't be helped. They were, indeed, going to be bored in the next few days if they didn't do anything. "Yeah. Fine." It was Kratos' simple reply as he continued to hold the merman close to him.

Alfie immediately grabbed his plate and began to shovel food into his mouth, as if he was starving. But he really wasn't. He just wanted food. He listened idly as everyone gave their take on a walk-through show and cleared his throat after swallowing his third bite of food. "I, ah...don't mind. But we'll need to find another tank or a glass sheet of some kind to shield me. I don't want people touching me unless they pay extra," he added, grinning naughtily.

"A mini-show is a small show we sometimes put on..." Shadow informed Gian, gently. "Usually it's in the form of a walk-through show, where we don't perform but we take requests from guests...and we're on display for them to see."

Léan made a snorting sound when Shadow mentioned 'performing' and 'taking requests from guests,' his head still resting against Kratos' chest. He was not a fan of these shows, and his temper would have to be monitored.

Gian also started eating his own share of the food while he listened to Shadow inform him about what a mini-show is about. He let out a short and meaningful, "Ah," before he'd raised his eyebrows a little, "What if what the people ask is too much for one to do?"

Hebs was still cleaning the counters while he listened to their conversation. Kratos, on the other hand, rolled his eyes at those words Shadow had used. Taking requests from guests hadn't exactly been the most pleasing of experiences for him. Bringing an old lover was definitely one of those he disliked. He had to take that said human's life before the corpse started kissing its lover.

Not that he minded. It did bring him some sort of amusement, too.

Alfie was finished with his food in no time, having dug right back into it the moment he stopped speaking. He licked his lips and then began to absently suck on his fingers to get rid of anything that was left over on them. He didn't mind honoring the requests of guests. He was, after all, a little shameless.

"If that happens, we politely inform the guest that that is something we're not comfortable doing or not able to do. Any rowdy guests will promptly be removed by yours truly," Shadow promised, giving him a small smile.

Léan finally spoke up, after a while of near-silence. "I am going to need someone near me at all times..." he warned, his tail flicking back and forth even faster than before. This was a sign that he was nervous. "You know how I can get when I'm pestered by guests..."

Gian let out another, "Ah," as Hebs nodded. He put away both Gian and Alfie's plates once they were done eating. Kratos, on the other hand, noticed Léan's tale and he grunted a little in annoyance. "I'll stay with you," he started before he reached down to keep the other's lower tail from flickering back and forth. He was hard to balance on his lap when he did that.

"So you can stop doing that." These words, he'd uttered in a lower voice before he'd readjusted him on his lap and turned to look at Shadow, expecting him to agree to his offer.

"Ah, very well. I expect you to keep a close eye on him. I would rather not have him bite one of our humble guests," Shadow murmured. "Well then, I suppose everything is settled. We will just need to find a place where we can show...would anyone like to take care of that for me?"

Alfie leaned up against the counter, suddenly looking a little unenthusiastic. Every little hair on the back of his neck was standing at attention, and he looked like he felt...perhaps like he was being watched. Alfie had neglected to tell Gian that every once in a while, he got these strange little memory clips running through his head or strong feelings in his gut. In a mild way, Alfie could predict the future.

He felt...wrong. Something was off. It felt like something bad was going to happen.

Léan was startled when his tail was suddenly grabbed. The tail, after all, was very sensitive on a merperson if you didn't really know where you were grabbing. And Kratos didn't seem to know where he was grabbing. He fought an angry blush from flooding onto his face, but it took refuge in his ears.

...Strangely enough...he didn't seem upset.

Kratos nodded at that. He'll have a lot of corpses to assist Shadow then with throwing out humans that causes trouble. Or, at least, the decent looking corpses that won't look like corpses. He was also unaware of the fact that he was putting on such an effect on Léan. He didn't let go of his tail, though, and made sure to keep it in place.

Hebs turned to look at Gian when Shadow had asked that question and Gian immediately raised his hand. Hey, he was bored and what's better than to hang out and see what they could cook up for a place? Looking over at Alfie, he raised his eyebrows a little when he'd seen the look on his face. "You okay?" he asked as he reached out to take Alfie's hand into his own, "You don't look so good."

"Very well...I'd like you to try and find a place within the next two days. We don't have much time left here, and it would be best if we got all of our planning out of the way very soon..." Shadow mused, giving a few slow nods. He glanced over at Alfie as well, looking solemn. Alfie had the abilities of a seer, but he could not control them...and the feelings he got were usually fairly mild.

"...Eh?" Alfie jumped slightly, blinking at Gian. He squeezed his hand, reassuringly. "I'm fine. I have this weird feeling that something's gonna end up going wrong at this show. But something's bound to, since we're not at home and the people here aren't familiar with us."

Léan gazed up at Kratos insistently, that blush starting to creep down his neck. He was trying rather hard to keep it off of his face, out of his expression. Holding a merperson's tail was something you only did if you either had a deathwish or wanted some hanky-panky time.

"All right," Gian said before he'd turned to look at Alfie when his hand was squeezed reassuringly. It had him blinking, though, when he'd heard what he had to say. "Maybe so but I still hope for this to be fun for all of us."

Kratos only noticed that insistent gaze of Léan when he'd turned to look at him. The man stared right back and frowned when he'd seen his ears and his neck red. "Are you... okay?"

Hebs had finished cleaning the kitchen and went off to clean their rooms next. "Try to keep from making a mess," he told them lot as he motioned to the time, "And stay away from your rooms for at least thirty minutes." With that, he was gone with a vacuum cleaner and a duster in hand.

Shadow chuckled softly at the predicament Léan seemed to have gotten himself into. The poor merman was frozen now that Kratos had turned to look at him, and was holding his gaze. Shadow leaned forward a little, smiling.

"...I think you should release his tail, dear. I'll have you know that the tails of merpeople are so incredibly sensitive..."

Léan made a strangled, embarrassed noise in his throat and ripped his gaze away from Kratos' to glower murderously in the fallen angel's direction, the blush finally spreading onto his face. He looked like he wanted to strangle Shadow for being so blunt. It was strange to see him so flustered...

Alfie snuggled up against Gian, a big grin plastering across his face. "You, ah...want to go swimming?"

Kratos turned to look up at Shadow. He was definitely surprised to have to find out such a thing in such a way. Quickly withdrawing his hand, he put it over his own knee and felt his own cheeks color just a tad. It had Gian looking at Kratos strangely. The two freaks he thought wouldn't ever have any other emotions other than a scowl was... looking embarrassed.

Gian blinked when he snuggled up against and he returned the grin. "Hell yes." He'd been wanting to try swimming again. They had, after all, slept so much today he had a lot of energy to spend.

Relief flood Léan's features when his tail was released, but the blush was still creeping its way onto his face. Now his tail was tingling like crazy, and he just couldn't stop it. Though he was glad, for the sake of being around the other freaks, that Kratos had released his tail...he could not help but internally want that touch back.

In private, of course. Not in front of everyone else.

Shadow snickered softly, and then he reached out and patted Léan on the head. "Don't be so embarrassed. Why don't you two go and do something fun...?" He didn't say anything else--he just strolled on out of the kitchen, intending to head for his room and rest for a while.

Alfie wiggled around happily. "All right, then! Go grab your trunks...I'll wait out here."
