Alfie didn't even talk once he reached the table. He just sat down and proceeded to shove as much of his food into his mouth as he possibly could. He ate like such a pig. Shadow didn't even reprimand him for it, either--with his snake-like teeth and great appetite, Shadow had deemed it acceptable behavior.

"Mm." That appeared to be all Shadow had to say on the matter. He had started on the eggs first. He glanced back towards the bedrooms a few times and then glanced outside, idly. When he was bored, he would often try to listen to as many thoughts as possible that were going on around him. Right now, he had focused on the thoughts of a man working at a small convenience store a few blocks away. He was thinking of the wonderful, kinky time he'd had with his boyfriend last night.

Of course that would catch Shadow's attention. He and Alfie were very perverse in their ways of thinking.

Hebs noticed the way Shadow seemed to divert his attention, too. "Ah," he started as he pointed his fork at the ringleader, "You found something nice, didn't you?" Gian blinked at that and he raised his eyebrows a tad. "Something nice?" he repeated, causing Hebs to snicker as he took a few eggs with his fork and put that into his mouth.

Gian still looked confused as he continued to chew on his bacon and turned to watch Alfie eat. The mutated naga's way of eating really was fascinating. Hell, everyone's eating style were fascinating.

"If you want me to share, I certainly can. I don't think it's proper meal-time conversation, however," Shadow hummed, only slightly paying attention to what was being said at the table. "Let's just say a certain cashier had a wonderful time last night."

Alfie snorted through his mouthful of food, grinning while he chewed...or at least trying to. When he swallowed, he snickered merrily. "My, my. I'd like to hear this later. Maybe you should write it down for me..." Alfie and Shadow got along perfectly, considering they were both terribly perverted.

Kratos only grunted at the reply Alfie gave to Shadow and he made a face of distaste. These two really had the vibes and he hated the fact that Shadow had to use his power in such a way. Finishing his meal, he got up to his feet and uttered a short, "Thank you for the meal," before he'd walked back to his room and shut the door behind him.

Gian only blinked again at Kratos' reaction and he turned to see Hebs laugh. "With the guy gone, though, I think you can speak freely. How 'wonderful' was wonderful for that cashier last night?" Hebs wasn't exactly as perverted as the two but he played along most of the time. Gian finished his food, minus the bacon strip he was mindlessly chewing on while he listened to the conversation between the three. If he thought right then Shadow must obviously be talking about the sexual encounters of that stranger whose head he probed in.

Léan was just finishing up with his last fish. About half of the fish was gone by now--the tail end was all that remained. He looked up at Kratos when he returned, curiosity in his expression. The skeletons of the fish he'd already eaten were sitting beside him.

Shadow knew that Kratos did not like when he used his powers to probe into other peoples' sex lives. But honestly, it didn't matter all that much to him. He had little empathy for most people in the world, anyway.

"His boyfriend of three years came home last night with a plethora of new toys to play with," he elaborated, after swallowing the bit of egg he had in his mouth. "He did not get any sleep last night, obviously. I wouldn't have, either, from what I saw of what the man brought home. He'd just gotten paid and decided to invest that payment rather wisely..."

Alfie snickered. "That's not too bad, though...remember when you peeked in our waiter's mind when we went out to eat once and found out he and his wife made a sundae of themselves the night before? Heeeee..."

Gian wasn't exactly sure why he was listening to this but Hebs seemed very much amused. When he'd seen Gian's reaction, he nudged him a little and grinned. "Come on. You can't exactly think everyone's not perverted. Sometimes, even the most quiet are the most wildest in bed." The snake man turned to look at Alfie and he pointed his fork at him. "You've got great memory sometimes when it's perverted too, I noticed."

"By wisely, did you mean sex toys?" Gian clarified as he finished his drink and leaned back in his seat with his hands tucked into his pockets. Licking his lips and brushing off any eggs that stuck to the side of his lip with his shoulder, he raised his eyebrows a bit as he reached out to take the fork from Hebs. "And, when was the last time you and Alfie got laid, Shadow?"

Talk about awkward. That actually had Hebs laughing out loud. Gian definitely was the most blunt human he'd ever known. Has he got no shame?!

Kratos looked over at Léan. He saw that expression of his and only muttered a, "They're at the usual again," before he'd flopped down onto his bed and clasped his hands behind his head.

"Yes, I did. If you want the honest truth, about two weeks ago," Shadow replied, simply. He did not elaborate on that. He usually didn't--whenever he craved sex, with his looks he could get it from pretty much anyone he wanted with no strings attached. He charmed when he wasn't even trying to charm...

Alfie grinned, folding his arms up behind his head. "You really think people are going to want to screw around with me when I look like this?" It wasn't a somber statement...no, it was just a statement. It was true--what human being in their right mind would want to touch someone like him? Alfie didn't consider himself ugly, but he was aware that probably no one in the world deemed him attractive in any way.

"Ah." Léan didn't say anything else. It wasn't needed, really. He simply continued to eat. The way he nibbled on his fish, Shadow often said, reminded him of a little blonde chipmunk.

"I see..." Gian turned to look at Alfie for a second or two and then turned to look at Hebs. "The hell are you looking at me like that for?" Hebs asked with a face as he got up to start keeping the plates.

"I was just thinking... why haven't you had sex with either of them yet?" Hebs turned a bright red and he scowled at Gian for even asking him such a question. He took back what he said about Gian being amusing. When the spotlight's turned to him, it really made him uncomfortable. "Why don't you?"

Gian shrugged. "I wouldn't mind but I haven't thought of trying it out with a snake and another man." Hebs stopped for a moment and shook his head. "Stay like that and not with these two, Gian. Not with these two. Now, help me keep the plates. You can wash, can't you?" He had to mentally smack himself for even bringing the topic up about what Shadow had read in some perverted man's mind who just had been exhausted by his boyfriend. The teen really had no choice but to follow orders. He didn't want to deal with an angry Hebs. That was scary.

Alfie snickered pointedly. "Ah-ha...scales against scales has to be uncomfortable," he mused, scratching his chin as he tried to imagine it. As he did so, Shadow reached over and patted his head, gently. "You think too much about simple things that can be solved with the usage of a lot of hand lotion."

Alfie had to pause in his thinking to laugh for a moment. "Heh...all right, that image just got a little funnier..." He squinted slightly, making a face. "Eh...Shadow's not my type, by the way. We're far too alike." He flashed the azure-haired man a knowing glance. "I need someone I get along with who's a little bit different from me, eh? I think Shadow just wants someone he can make blush...all the time."

Shadow didn't say anything in response to that. He only sat there and smiled like he had some dirty little secret.

Gian, oddly, thought about what Shadow had said too and he laughed when Alfie had voiced out what he just thought. "A little?" he asked before he'd picked up the remaining dishes and looked over at the still blushing and scowling Hebs. It looked like Hebs didn't like that smile of Shadow at all. "Gian, you're turning to them." Gian laughed at that and he turned his gaze back at Shadow.

"Won't it be too much for the budget if the hand lotion is replaced every day?" he asked as he followed after Hebs after the hit to the side of his head with the snake man's elbow. Chuckling lightly, mostly to himself, Gian walked into the kitchen to put the dishes down on the sink. He took the rag to start cleaning the dining table with his good arm's hand and noted the number of chores he had to do despite his bad arm.

"I'm pretty much chill with getting someone who cares about me and appreciates me, but isn't mirroring my thoughts every five seconds of my life. And I actually want someone I can look at in bed who isn't inhumanly gorgeous and makes me feel bad about my own mediocre looks." Alfie stared pointedly at Shadow, whose smile only grew marginally.

"Not if we make some budget cuts. Whoever wants that lotion has to have the guts to tell Léan he has to eat cheaper fish from now on," Shadow bribed, amusedly. Léan cost them a lot of money. The safe cleaning materials for the tank...the crates and barrels of a now-endangered fish...

((*plots*))

"That'd have to be Shadow." Gian said as he stopped wiping the table to look at Alfie and pointed at Shadow. "At least, the inhumanly gorgeous part, I definitely agree on." Finishing up the cleaning, he pushed the unused chairs under the table and blinked at Hebs bringing what looked like a cup of tea to Shadow. Hebs seemed to have noticed the curious look Gian was giving it and he smiled in amusement.

"Want one, too?" When he saw Gian give him a nod, he took the rag from him and motioned for him to sit down, which Gian did. "Wouldn't it be a good idea if you were the one who told Léan about the budget cut, though?" Gian asked as he looked back at Shadow. Doing so made him mesmerized again at the man and Hebs had to put him out of it by tugging at his ear just after putting Gian's tea down on the table.

"I wouldn't be the one needing the lotion," Shadow warned, grinning. He stretched his legs out under the table. A bone in his leg cracked as he did so--rather loudly, in fact. "Aahh...that actually felt very good." He lifted his tea to sip it and then stopped all of a sudden, as if he was remembering something. He glanced out towards Hebs. "Do you want me to start with your cooking classes today?" he asked, curiously. Before they started he would have to tell Kratos where to find the wheelchair and hat, though.

Alfie peered at the tea Gian was being offered, curiously. "I've never liked tea. Don't know why, really..."

That was true but Gian decided not to push the subject any more. He blinked again at the rather loud crack from under the table and frowned. That was disturbing. "Does that happen often?" Gian asked as he took the cup of tea, smelled it and let out a quiet sigh of relaxation. The smell of tea - the ones that Hebs make - really makes him relax. If there was one thing Hebs had perfected, it's tea.

"You don't?" Gian asked Alfie, looking rather surprised, "Have you tried tasting one?"

Hebs met Shadow's gaze and he, too, was enraptured by the man's beauty. He hated that, really. "Will this be dessert or the menu for lunch?" he asked as he raised his eyebrows a bit.

"I tried some tea once--hot tea. I don't know what flavor it was, but it really didn't sit well with me..." Alfie replied slowly, making a face. "I guess I could try some again and see if I change my mind. I kind of prefer cold tea. The only hot drink I like is hot chocolate, really. Shadow's hot chocolate, when he makes it in winter...to diiiiiieeee for..." Alfie grinned, widely, and shifted where he sat, peering more over Gian's tea. "What flavor is it?"

Shadow shrugged, smiling. "Which do you feel less comfortable making? I will help you with that one..." he offered, pleasantly.

"I'm not sure," he said as he returned his gaze back to the tea, "But it smells like mint and something else." Pausing for a second, though, when he'd heard about the hot chocolate of Shadow, he idly wondered just how good that is. Looks like he'll just have to wait for it for Christmas. At least, now I have something to look forward on Christmas. Blowing over the surface, he took a small sip and licked his lips. "Earl Grey?"

"Well, aren't you helpful?" Hebs was only teasing the ringleader but he nodded and uttered, "Dessert." Though he wouldn't say it out loud, Shadow's desserts were to die for and he wouldn't mind starting with that.

"Eeeeeewww, mint. Mint belongs in toothpaste, not in food or drinks of any kind," Alfie complained, visibly pouting. "I'm the kind of non-wordly person who enjoys a good cold bottle of artificial iced tea...a mix of too many flavors never does it for me, ya know?" He paused, then frowned. "Can I have a taste, just to see if I'm wrong about mint always reminding me of toothpaste? Don't worry--my mouth is clean."

"Very well. I have to remind Kratos of something, but I will be back, if you want to start now or in the next hour or so." Shadow bowed his head slightly before turning and heading off to Kratos' room. He knocked on the door twice. "The items you requested are in my room, in the closet. Fetch them whenever you like."

He promptly returned to Hebs, smiling all the way.

Gian chuckled at Alfie's complaint and he couldn't help but find that pout rather cute on the mutant naga. Sipping the tea again as he listened to him speak, he raised his eyebrows a bit and turned to look at him again. "A taste? Yeah, sure," he said with a smile as he put the cup back down on the table and pushed it towards Alfie's way, "Go ahead."

"Now would be good," he said with a nod and blinked as he'd seen Shadow leave. He had returned to the kitchen to finish with the dishes and he turned to look back at the man when he'd come back. That smile that was glued on the man's face was disturbing. Especially with that good looks of his. "Do hit my head when I'm not paying attention. Right now, too, would be a good start of that."

Alfie hesitated for just a second before reaching out and taking the cup in his hands. He lifted it up to his lips and sipped slightly before setting it down, in case his reaction was negative. He took a few moments to contemplate the taste of the tea and then he made a face--a mixture between 'meh' and 'hmm.' "Not terrible, but the minty taste kinda throws me off. I'm that weird guy that doesn't care for mint...I can't even chew most flavors of gum, ha..."

Shadow reached behind Hebs' head and gave him a curt but somewhat gentle smack. "Better, now?" he asked, kindly. "What were you planning on making for a dessert, exactly? I can help you make it better...just follow my instructions."

Gian watched Alfie's reaction for a second or two and he burst out laughing at the face the mutant naga had made. "I think I know how to make that better." He took the cup and grinned at him. "Try tasting it from my mouth." The mint would, at least, be lessened and there'd be more taste of that Earl Grey on his tongue. He's learned it from a friend of his, which was how he'd come to like tea. Well, he got tea without his mother knowing anyway.

The teen brought that cup up to his lips to take a long sip from the slightly hot liquid.

Hebs was thankful for that gentle smack. It pulled him back to his place. "Very," was his simply reply as he put the dishes away. At the question, his lips pursed a little and he fixed the beanie hiding his hair, "Maybe... chocolate cube brownies?"

Alfie blinked at what Gian had said. Of course he had kissed before--Shadow insisted on getting to the point where he could kiss the members of his 'family' without any feelings of dislike or disgust coming up. Alfie had gladly surrendered and given him a kiss. He was stunned for just a moment before he shook that off and grinned. He leaned over towards Gian, waiting for him to finish with his sip. "Gimme a big kiss. You know you want to," he teased, playfully.

"All right..." Shadow cleared a few things off of the counter and patted it, eagerly. "Fetch the ingredients you would normally use for such brownies and lay them out here. I may add and subtract things as you go."

Gian smiled in amusement at that teasing and playful remark before he'd pulled the cup away from his lips and put it down. Keeping just a little of the liquid in his mouth, he closed the distance between his and Alfie's lips and reached up to have his fingers thread through the other's hair. Gian wasn't sure why but with the fascination of Alfie being a mutated naga was also his hair. Alfie, strangely, had nice hair. It wasn't just a light kiss that Gian gave, he dipped his tongue through the other's lips, his tongue brushing through those sharp fangs and down to give him a deep, tea-full kiss.

Hebs went about to gathering the ingredients for the brownie: butter, chocolate, eggs, sugar, flour, vanilla, and nuts. He only knew how to make the simple desserts. "That's about it."

Alfie wasn't expecting Gian to give him a deep kiss--not as the first between them, anyway--so he was pleasantly surprised when he discovered he'd taken that step. He liked having his hair touched and petted--perhaps it was his reptilian side speaking out about liking to be touched. He reached up and rested one of his hands on the back of Gian's head, his tongue rising up to meet Gian's with plain eagerness.

Shadow got rid of just the butter. He added in a few different ingredients--a bit of chocolate milk, surprisingly, and some cream that was textured a lot like butter. He preferred brownies that had filling. A creamy chocolate filling was probably the best thing for these. "This cream will have to be mixed with chocolate. Some of it will be used for filling and the rest can be mixed in with the batter. You can add a little butter, but not too much. Try making a tray with these ingredients."

Well, one can't taste the tea when they're simply having a kiss lips to lips, right? At least, that was what Gian had learned kissing all those women back when he was still studying at school. He couldn't get the right taste not unless he did one thing. Gian lavishly ran his tongue along Alfie's own, luring that tongue into his mouth so he could share what was left of the tea. His eyes had slid shut along the way and he'd felt a little rumble from the back of his throat - a quiet moan - as he continued kissing the mutant naga.

There was that distinct taste of meat and tea, eggs and bacon mixing in the kiss and Gian couldn't help but be inwardly amused by it.

Hebs watched Shadow replace the butter with those ingredients and he raised his eyebrows in surprise. He hadn't expected the chocolate milk at all. "You really know what you're doing," he commended the ringleader as he took the ingredients and followed instructions. Cream mixed with melted chocolate. He separated enough for the filling and he started the batter, too. "Does it have to be fluffy or have no air in it?"

Alfie followed Gian's lead, of course, and allowed him to lure his tongue into his mouth. He didn't mind, of course. The strange mixture of tastes was just intriguing to him--he didn't mind at all. Though he didn't make any move to further what they were sharing, he also didn't back down or back off at all. A good sign, at the very least.

He had to admit that from now on, he would find the taste of tea a little more satisfying.

"It should be fluffy. It has a richer taste that way, you see," Shadow informed him, watching what he was doing closely. He would occasionally stop him while he started with the batter and show him a better way to stir or remind him to shake the bowl to help mix things up.
