Fallen

It seemed as if Ari had been falling forever. She strained to use her wings but it was no use. Although some of them was still there, most of them had been ripped away as the other angels had pushed her out of Heaven's gates. All she had wanted was a chance to be human, was that so wrong? Obviously she had angered someone enough to be thrown out of Heaven and her wings taken from her.

Her long silver hair blew away from her face as she fell. Faster and faster she plummeted, the ground reaching up too fast to catch her. She braced herself, knowing this was going to hurt. BOOM She crashed into the earth, dirt flying up in a cloud of dust as she impacted. She lifted her head up slowly, every part of her aching. She managed to crawl out of the hole she had made and used all of the rest of her waning strength to pull herself over to a nearby tree before her vision grew dark and the world faded away as she passed out.

William sighed as he took a walk into the forest and just took in everything. He liked to get away from the city and town and everything, sometimes it was all so much to handle. After his parents dying when he was still in high school he had learned the world was a unkind place. There was so much hardship and it was even harder when you didn't have any family to go to comfort. So escaping into the forest always seemed like a nice way to get away form everything.

As he walked he thought he saw something falling from the sky and wondered what was going on. He started to head towards there but when he heard a Boom. He started to run. Maybe it was a ufo, or something. But as he got closer he found only a hole. It wasn't that big but nothing was at the bottom. "that is strange." he said and then started to look around. Out of the corner of his eye he saw something and turned It was a girl and she looked like she might of gotten hit or something by what ever came from the sky.

He ran over and kneeled down next to her. "miss?... Miss? Can you hear me?" he asked as he gently shook her shoulder and tried to wake her up. If she didn't wake up soon he would take her to a hospital, if she did he would take her home and make sure that she was completely okay.

It felt as if she were floating in darkness. There was nothing around her, not that she would have been able to see it if it was. It seemed as if she was lost in an abyss, devoid of any light, as she floated in the void. Is this hell? This would be the perfect hell for her, since she had been a creature of light. Even as she started to despair, she thought she could hear someone calling her faintly from above. She strained towards the sound desperately, as if her life depended on it.

Ari's body begin to stir and her eyelids flickered a few times. She felt a slight pressure on her shoulder as she regained consciousness. Finally she opened her eyes and looked up, revealing startling blue eyes. She focused on the concerned grey eyes looking down at her. "W-who are you?" Was this the person who would take her to her place in hell? No, those eyes held too much warmth for her to believe this for more than a moment. "W-where am I?" Her face became confused as she tried to put everything together. She remembered falling from the sky, but everything was a little hazy after that.

As she became more aware, she found that she ached all over her body. She grimaced she struggled to sit up, unused to being sore. Or for being able to feel at all for that matter. In heaven, it was very rare that the angels felt anything other than the soft places they inhabited or anything more than the wind on their faces as they flew from place to place. It wasn't deemed necessary to be able to feel anything more physical than that.

Palmoun 01-18-2011 05:07 AM

William smiled when he saw the girl open her eyes and sighed a sigh of relief. At least she was awake now and she wasn't bleeding or anything like that. "I am William, I got worryed when I saw you laying here on the ground." he said and looked her over again to make sure she wasn't bleeding or anything. He the looked at her worryed when she said she didn't remember where she was, that couldn't be a good sign. " your out in the middle of the forest, are you okay?" he asked as he looked at her worryed.

He had always had a kind heart and seeing a girl like this made him want ti help as much as he could. But he hadn't seen her around and he was familiar with all he faces in his town. "do you remember anything at all before now? Do you remember where you live or anything like that?" he asked and gently wrapped a arm around her and slowly sat her up. He would have to get her back home a d see if he could do anything for her there.

wickedwonderland 01-18-2011 05:39 AM

"I-i think so." She gave him a grateful look as he helped her up. She looked around at the forest as he spoke. It looked as though she had landed in a small clearing. Good thing too or she might have hit one of the massive trees that surrounded them. Her head was throbbing and she put one of her small hands up to her head, feeling for any cuts. Not finding any she put her hand back down and returned her gaze to William. He had such a kind look on his face that she couldn't help but smile softly at him, the smile making her face light up. As she looked at him, she found herself thinking just how good looking he was.

"Oh, I..." She trailed off, uncertain what to say. It was as if some of her memory had been erased and the harder she tried to think about it the more foggy her memories became. The one thing she could remember vividly was falling. She looked into his eyes, hers filled with confusion."I remember falling and then feeling like I was floating in darkness. The next thing I saw was you. I-i can't remember anything before that, it's all fuzzy."

Palmoun 01-18-2011 04:50 PM

William smiled at her, "well I thought that maybe you where hit by what ever had fallen. YOu probably got knocked over and then passed out when you landed over here. that is probably explains the falling feeling and the floating in darkness." he said as he looked at her and smiled. She probably got a big bump on her head and had temporaty memory loss. He knew a few guys that would take advantage of this but not him, he would never dream of doing that.

He then stood up and pulled her to her feet slowly, "you probably got hit hard and have temporary memory loss." he said as he looked at her and smiled, "how about if I take you to my house? I can get you something to eat and hopefully you will remember something by then." he said as he looked at her and smiled. "but first off do you remember your name or anything like that?" he asked since he didn't want to call her girl or anything like that.

wickedwonderland 01-19-2011 03:29 AM

She accepted his help gratefully. She felt her head starting to spin and closed her eyes for a moment. It seemed to help and she hesitantly opened her eyes, feeling relief when the feeling didn't return. Even so, she felt as if she were going to fall and grabbed onto his shoulder to steady herself. She flushed and looked at him with embarrassment. "Sorry about that, doesn't seem as if I've gotten my balance back just yet."

She let go of his shoulder slowly, making sure she could stand up without swaying or needing support. She nodded at his words. That might explain why she couldn't remember anything. She thought about his question for a minute. Her name....what was her name? Concentrating she started to get frustrated when it finally came to her. "Ari, my name's Ari and thats so nice of you to offer to take me to your house. Won't your parents mind though?"

Palmoun 01-19-2011 03:37 AM

William smiled when he heard her and wrapped a arm around her when he saw her grap his shoulder. "that is okay, it is understandable after what you might of gone threw." he said as he looked at her and then let go of her once she let go of him. He then gently took her hand and shook his head, "I am on my own, let's just leave it at that." he said since it still pained him to talk about his parents.

"now come on, my place is this way." he said as he kept her hand and started to lead her out of there. He kept a eye on her and smiled, "so are you sure you remember nothing? Any clue to where you might live?" he asked as he looked at her and wondered if she would remember soon or live a few years without remembering.

wickedwonderland 01-19-2011 04:15 AM

His hand felt very warm in hers. She smiled at him and let him lead her where he wanted. She concentrated on remembering, well anything, her brow furrowing as she thought. Bits and pieces seemed to go by her in super speed and she tried to grab on to them, but they kept eluding her grasp.

She frowned and then sighed regretfully. "No, all I get are bits and pieces and they all fly by so fast I can't get a grip on them." His hand on hers seemed to be making her feel warm tingles. She blushed slightly as she thought about how she would like keep holding his hand even after they got to his house.

((sorry for the delay, was typing up a reply in another rp. Oh sorry so short too))

Palmoun 01-19-2011 04:22 AM

((oh it is okay))

William smiled as he lead the way and looked at her, "well maybe later you will be able to remember." he said and smiled at her. He had heard of people nit remembering anything foryears and wondered if that would happen with her. If it did he would help her as much as he could. He couldn't stand by and watch her be helpless. "for now your welcome to stay at my house." he said and they where now infront of his house.

His house was on the edge of town and was big and half two floors.he lead her to the door and opened it, "welcome to my home." he said as he lead her inside. It was a big inside and looked amazing. It had a cabin like theme inside and it felt very honey in here which he loved. This was where he grew up and intended to stay till he died.

wickedwonderland 01-19-2011 04:34 AM

She looked up at him with surprise. "I can stay with you? Your sweet, but I don't want to be a burden..." Her words faded away as they came up on his house. It looked very inviting and as they made their way inside the look only intensified. She looked around with curiosity. She felt instantly at home in this place for some unknown reason.

"Wow, you really live her all by yourself? Doesn't it get lonely being by yourself in this great big house?" Her eyes widened with shock as she realized she might have hurt his feelings. She looked at him, her eyes filled with remorse. "Oh! I'm so sorry. That..I-i mean I shouldn't have said that." She stumbled over her words as she turned beet red. He might have considered retracting his offer of a place to stay after that stupid outburst even though she had already said she didn't want to be a burden to him by staying.

Palmoun 01-20-2011 03:41 AM

William chuckled when he heard her and smiled, "trust me your no burden at all. I fact I would love for you tomstay." he said as he smiled at her and wouldn't retract his offer. He had been alone for a while and he would love for her to stay. He then nodded as he lead her into the livingroom and sat down on the couch. "and Yes you are right, it does get very lonely in this house. So I would really like it of you stayed." he said as he smiled at her.

He then patted the couch next to him, "come and relax, I am sure your tired after everything that has happened." he said since he was sure that her head still hurt from getting hit. He then watched her carefully to make sure that she was truelly okay. He didn't want his new guest to fall over and hurt herself even more.

wickedwonderland 01-22-2011 09:52 AM

There was just something about him when he smiled that seemed to set her at ease. She felt a huge wave of relief pour through her when he insisted that she stay. She was also relieved that he hadn't been offended by her outburst about it being lonely here. She smiled gratefully at him. "Well in that case how could I refuse such a kind offer." When he patted the place next to him on the couch, she felt her heart begin to race again, just as it had earlier when he had continued to hold her hand. She felt an unexpected warmth rise up in her as she realized just how much she wanted to be close to him again.

She sank down on the couch beside him and not expecting it to be so plush, started to fall against him. Ari had put her hands out in an attempt to catch herself, which hadn't helped her at all. Instead she found herself up against him, her hands on his chest. "Oh! I'm so sorry!," she managed to stammer out. Her hair had fallen into her face slightly as she looked up at him. She was going to try and right herself when her embarassed gaze reached his eyes. She had noticed them before but now found herself lost in them. He had such beautiful eyes that were filled with kindness. For a moment it felt as if the world faded away and there was nothing except the two of them as she looked into William's eyes, unable to look away.

Palmoun 01-22-2011 04:36 PM

William chuckled when he saw her sink into the couch and her hands on his chest. He then found himself looking into her eyes and couldnt' look away. They where beautiful now that he saw them and without thinking his arm moved so that it was around her and keeping her close. He found that he liked having her close to him, there was something about her that just made him want to be close. "it is okay." he said as he looked at her and smiled at her, "the couch does this to most of the people who sit." he said to her softly and couldn't look away from her.

He smiled and then gently reached out and pushed her hair out of her face. He tucked her hair behind her ear and smiled at her, "now then, are you hurt at all? do you feel pain or anything like that?" he asked since he didn't want her to be in pain at all. He wasn't sure if what ever hit her hurt her at all and if it had he would treat her right away.

wickedwonderland 01-23-2011 03:58 AM

She blushed furiously as he put his arm around her, keeping her close to him. "I don't suppose most people fall onto you like this though," she said shyly, liking the way his body felt against hers immensely, as she continued to look up at him. She let herself relax against him. It felt...natural, like this was something they did every day.

The touch of his hand on her face sent shivers down her spine. She smiled back at him as her gaze finally moved away from his eyes down to his lips. I wonder how his lips would feel on mine... She quickly averted her eyes before she could stare longer than she already had, her blush deepening. Looking back up she said softly, "No I don't think so. I'm just...tired." She hadn't realized just how tired she was until she had started to relax against him. Her words trailed off softly as she felt her eyes closing. Within moments, she was asleep.

Palmoun 01-23-2011 06:46 AM

William chuckled when he saw her fall asleep and gently picked her up into his arms. "you deffinately are tired." he said as he stood up and started to walked up stairs. He headed to the guest bedroom and gently layed her down on he bed. He didn't dare take her out of her clothing since he wasn't sure how she would like that. So all he did was pull the blankets up over her and made sure that she was comfortable in the bed. He then walked over to his closet and pulled out some of his mothers clothing that looked like it would fit her. He layed them on the dresser and left.

He headed over to his room and pulled his clothing off. He pulled in his pj pants and crawled into bed wihout anoher word. It was nice to know he wasn't alone in this house any ore now that he had her. But he wondered how long she would stay. She was welcome to stay as long as she needed to since he was lonely. He had been lonely for a long time and he didn't want tone lonely again. Now that he had her hopefully he wouldn't be Aline. He fell asleep to this thought.

wickedwonderland 01-23-2011 08:51 AM

Ari woke slowly, stretching her body out. She froze as she realized she was in a bed. How did I get- Oh right I must have fallen asleep last night while I was talking to William She looked down in a panic to find she was still in the clothes she had worn last night. She felt a relief that William really was a nice guy and hadn't tried to take advantage of her after she fell asleep. She hadn't really thought that but it was still nice to be reassured.

She settled back onto her pillow. The bed was so soft, she didn't want to move. She looked over at the dresser and saw a stack of neatly folded clothes on the top. She smiled as she thought of how William must have laid them out for her. He's so sweet Getting up she took the clothes off the dresser and peaked out the door to the room she was in. She padded down the hallway, looking for a bathroom. She looked and felt filthy and desperately wanted a shower. She finally found what she was looking for and put the clothes down on the sink. Locking the door she quickly stripped down after starting the water. She stepped in under the warm water and gave a sigh of contentment. Quickly she washed herself and then stepped out of the bathtub, grabbing a towel and drying off. She put the clothes on, and to her amazement they fit pretty well. Maybe a little baggy but not too much. I hope he doesn't mind me taking a shower

Taking her dirty clothes with her, she headed down the stairs to the living room they had been in last night. She looked around for a place to put them and went through another door only to find the kitchen. It was bathed in early morning light and looked very welcoming. She spotted a washer and dryer peeking out from behind a door in the kitchen and threw her dirty clothes in the hamper she found as she opened the door.

Trying to be quiet, she moved over to the table and sat down where the sunlight was hitting the chairs. She didn't want to wake William up if he was still asleep. She looked out the glass doors at the sun-lit woods, thinking to herself how peaceful this was. She sat there soaking up the sun as she looked out.

Palmoun 01-23-2011 04:44 PM

William slept in for a while and then slowly got up and streached. He slipped out of bed and remembered he wasn't alone this morning. it was a nice thought to wake up too and he walked over to the bathroom that was connected to his room. He washed his face and fixed his hair. he then walked into his room and pulled on some pants and a white shirt. He smiled as he headed out of there and down to the kitchen.

When he saw that the bathroom door was open he guessed that she had taken a shower or something. Which ment that she was up and probably either exploring the house and sitting down somewhere. Well wherever she was he would find her sooner or later. Which he found her in the kitchen and sitting in the sun. He leaned against the door frame and watched her. She looked like a angel sitting there with the sun on her and he wondered how lucky he was to of found her.

He then stood up straight and started to head into the kitchen, "well good morning, aria." he said as he headed over to the coffee maker and started to make some. He then tturned and looked at her. He leaned back against the counter and smiled at her, "did you sleep well?" he asked and hoped she had. He wanted to enjoy herself while she was here with him.

wickedwonderland 01-24-2011 03:13 AM

She had been lost in her thoughts and jumped when William spoke, turning around to face him. "Oh! You startled me." She hadn't heard him walk into the kitchen. She smiled back at him. "Good morning William. Yes I did sleep very well. Thank you for taking me to the bed last night. I'm sorry I passed out on you. I must have been more tired than I realized."

As he leaned against the counter, she couldn't help but notice how attractive he was again. In fact, since she was fully alert now, he looked even better than she remembered from last night. She blushed and looked down after she realized she was just sitting there staring at him. He must think I'm so strange Looking back out the doors she smiled again. "It's very peaceful here." As she sat there it seemed as if something was tugging at her mind, almost as if a memory was trying to resurface but having difficulty. Ari figured it wouldn't do any good to try to force it out, it would resurface eventually. For the moment she was just enjoying William's company.

Palmoun 01-24-2011 03:50 AM

William chuckled when he saw her jump slightly and the. Smiled at her," sorry, I didn't mean to startle you." he said as he smiled at her and listened. Her voice was like magic and he wondered if she had been a singer. He then looked at her, "no problem, I had guessed you where tired and I didn't mind carrying you to bed. I couldn't just leave you there on the couch." he said as he smiled at her and then poured himself a cup of coffee. "would you like some?" he asked as he looked at her.

He drank his coffee and smirked when he saw her staring. He wondered if he had something on his shirt or something. But when he looked down there was nothing so he guessed she had been staring off I to space or something. "so do you remeber anything now?" he asked since he would like to know what she knew. "oh and yes it is peaceful, I like peace and quiet since it helps me think and concentrate in things. I also don't like violence or anything like that." he said as he walked over to her and sat down next to herz

wickedwonderland 01-24-2011 04:40 AM

She was extremely aware of his prensence as he sat down next to her. "Coffee? No but thank you." She smiled at him softly and then sighed. "It's like I can almost remember but that they are just out of my reach. Maybe I'll eventually remember something. It's so frustrating not to remember anything." She was still blushing slightly from where he had caught her staring at him.

She looked over at him, a curious expression on her face. "Can I ask you a question? What were you doing in the woods yesterday? Not that I'm not glad you were, I was just wondering."

((sorry it took so long, my computer decided to go AWOL. lol. Sorry so short too....))

Palmoun 01-25-2011 12:39 AM

((sorry ti took long for me to post back))

William smiled as he looked at her and relaxed in his care. He frowned when he heard that she still couldn't remember anything but it just ment she had more reason to stay. There where to many people who would take advantage of her if she was to go out into town. "well sooner or later you will probably remember, you just have to let it come to you." he said as he smiled at her and liked that blush on her cheeks.

He then sighed when he heard her question and leaned back in his chair. "I was in the woods to get away." h e said and probably thought that it was odd, "I wanted to get away from everything, from the town, my work, my whole life. I just wanted to be away from everything." he said as he looked at her and smiled.

wickedwonderland 01-26-2011 11:40 PM

"Yes, I suppose your right." It would just take some time for her memory to come back and she knew she couldn't expect it to come back all at once, although that would be nice. Ari was glad that William had found her and not someone else who might have taken advantage of her current situation. Plus as an added bonus, he was easy to look at that was for sure. She felt herself start to blush at the course her thoughts were taking.

She was smiling back at him until he said he had wanted to get away from everything. Her warm smile faltered as he spoke. For some reason she felt awful. He had wanted to get away from everything and instead had found her. Even though she knew somewhere inside that she shouldn't feel this way, she couldn't help but feel like she had ruined his plans by suddenly dropping into his life so suddenly. She didn't say anything for fear she might burst into tears. It was irrational but after everything that had happened, she was starting to feel overwhelmed.

As hard as she was trying to hold it in, she was horrified to feel a single tear escape from her eyes and trail slowly down her face. She quickly turned her head away from William, hoping that he hadn't seen but knowing he might have.

Palmoun 01-27-2011 12:55 AM

William smield when he heard her and nodded. Yet when he saw her smile falter he knew that she probably felt bad for taking him away form her plans. But he didnt' mind at all, he was actually glad she was here now. If she wasn't he would probably long gone with no one in his life. But here she was and he was actually very happy to be with her now. When he saw one shinny tear he frowned and gently reached out to her. He took her face into his hand and gently wiped her tear away, "you might of changed my plans but they where for the better." he said to her softly and smiled at her.

He hoped that she didn't think that it was all her fault. He was happy to have her here and someone he could actually talk to. "now then, how about if we do something fun. I can take you out into town and show you around or take you to go and see a movie or something. We can do what ever you would like." he said as he tryed to cheer her up. He wanted the smileling girl that had been sitting here before, not this girl who looked like she might cry. He wanted her to be smiling and laughing.

wickedwonderland 01-27-2011 03:21 AM

She was surprised when he took her face into his hands. His hands were very warm and she instantly became aware of how close they were sitting. As he wiped the tear from her face she gave him a weak smile, embarrassed at how emotional she had become. Her smile became brighter as he spoke. She felt much better now, knowing she hadn't ruined his plans and reached a hand up to place it on his for a moment.

"I'd love to see the town." Just then her stomach gave out a loud rumble and she gave out an embarrassed laugh. "Maybe after your tour we could grab something to eat?" She was happy just to be able to spend time with him. The prospect of him giving her a tour of the town gave her a thrill. She was eager to see the area he lived in. Maybe something in town would spark her memory. Suddenly, without any warning she threw her arms around him. "Thank you," she whispered in his ear as she hugged him tight for a moment.
