"I am glad you like it... as long as Dustan can forgive the villagers for what they did to Gesei and himself... I think he was more upset about Gesei though since she almost died from loosing blood even though he pretty much did die of the poison... though I got to him just in time and I am glad I did." the woman said softly relaxing now that she knew she would not be killed or put in prison or under house arrest.

Kazu frowned when he heard her and wondered if he would forgive him. He then looked at her, "what happens if he doesn't forgive the villagers and me? would he kill us?" he asked since he was pretty sure that if he was in Dustan's shoes he would kill everyone.

"I don't beleive so... I think he would just be wary of everyone and scared that we would hurt her again." the healersaid softly as she thought about think and hoped she was right.

Kazu nodded as he listened to her and then looked at her, "do you think that the villagers will listen to me if I was to explain that I am going to envite them here?" he asked.

"I am not sure... We might have to explain what had been going on and even then they might not believe us like they didn't believe Gesei..." the woman said softly with a soft sigh and thought some with a bit of a frown as she remembered watching him slap her and looking out of her house window to see that they were beating the young girl... she knew it was wrong for them to have done that to her though she couldn't say anything about it... women were still not aloud to speak out in the village and she knew that that would be like her speaking out against what the men wanted in the village... and many of the women had said that she deserved it too.

Kazu nodded and then looked at the old women, "maybe if I let you talk to them they will understand. YOu seem to be able to explain this better then I can." he said and then thought about how Gesei had been beaten. Maybe it was time for a change and women to have a voice.

The woman nodded softly as she stood slowly and started to make her way to the door. "But... what if they do not believe me? How could we possibly make them see?" she asked softly as she looked at the head elder and wondered what they might do if they didn't believe them...

Kazu thought for a moment and then looked at her, "I dont know, we coudl bring Dustan and Gesei back but I am sure the villagers would just want to kill them. We will probably just have to wait and see what happens." he said as he looked at her.

The woman nodded in understanding then gestured to the door wanting him to go first... she was wary of going first... she didn't know what they might do to her if they do anything.

Kazu nodded and headed out the door. He then waited for her on the other side and hoped that the villagers would understand them.

Some of the villagers turned to look from where they were as they heard the two walking into the streats and most glared at the old healer woman. They wondered some what the elder was doing with her and wondered if he was going to sentence her to death like they all thought she deserved.

Kazu sighed when he saw them glaring and knew that this would be hard to do. Yet he went to the center of town and once everyone stared at both of them he was ready to start. "My dear villagers, I have new for you all. After talking to our top healer I have found that Dustan isn't evil. SO I say that we change the festival for a time of gathering." he said as he looked at them.

"So what are you saying?! Invite the beast into the village? How do we know he is kind?" One of the men asked scowling some at the thought. The old healer hoped that Kazu could convince them... she knew she couldn't and they would not trust her so much now... though they would get over it with her since she was the top healer after all.

Kazu looked at them, "that is exactly what I expect us to do. We are going to envite him and Gesei into our home and treat them with respect." he said as he looked at them. "and I know they are kind for he has never harmed the village. Even before we started to give him women he never did. We just did it to satisfie our own fears so the one's at fault are us. THe only way to correct this is to let them in." he said as he looked at them.

There were quite a bit or chatters for a second before slowly all the people nodded in agreement though the few that didn't agree all went off right away. Most of the people stayed however and that made the old healer happy to see that they might be able to work this out. "When will we invite them? Right now Gesei is out cold and has been for the last week or so that I was there... she never woke up after she had passed out though she had gotten better so I think she'll be okay... I think Dustan will be on high alert though and will be guarding the cave ten times more then usual... meaning that he's not really trusting many right now... I might have to come with you just to get you close to the cave..." the woman said softly wondering some if she was right... and she thought she was since Dustan was very over protective it seemed.

Kazu nodded as he listened to her and thought for a moment. He then looked out at the villagers, "After hearing the words from our Healer I say that we invite them over in three weeks time. That will give them time to heal and us to prepare." he said and hoped that it was okay with everyone.

The villagers thought of this and the majority agreed though there was some that still were protesting even the thought of letting the two back into the village.

Kazu looked at them all, "we will invite them in with open arms. If you try ot harm either of them they you will be banished, killed or jailed." He said as he looked at them all and wanted to make sure that htey all understood that he wanted this and no one was going to get in his way.

All nodded before learching off to what they had been doing before and the old healer sighed softly. "Why do I have such a feeling that they will not listen? Or at least some of them..." she said softly with a heavy sigh as she turned then looked over her shoulder at the village leader. "I shall be in my house... I must rest I have not fully since I left to help Gesei." she said softly before walking back to her house and went to bed.

Dustan was pacing infront of Gesei. She still didn't wake up and he was starting to get very worried. It had been a week and a half right now and so far she was still asleep. She had to be okay, he wasn't sure what he would do if she wasn't. He forced himself to sit down next to her and took her hand into his gently, "come on, please wake up." he said softly.

Gesei twitched a bit as she heard Dustan though it took a long time. She had actually been trying to wake up for the last few days though just couldn't. Ever so slowly she started to come to and slowly opened her eyes. She still wasn't feeling too good though she felt allot better then she had been.

Dustan was surprised to see her eyes open but smiled. "thank god your awake." he whispered as he looked at her. He had been so worried that he was going to lose her and doomed to be alone forever. But now she was here and he was going to keep hwr as close as possible.

Gesei looked at him and smiled happy to see him. Slowly she moved into a sitting possition and without a word hugged him. She herself had been scared she was dead or was dying and now that she was awake she was happy. She was also happy to see Dustan and see that he was alive and she was with him. Soft tears were slowly rolling down her cheeks as she hugged him and had thought she would never see him nor anyone else ever again.

Dustan was surprised when she hugged him but quickly wrapped his arms around her. He felt her tears and held her closer to him as she wept. "everything is okay." he whispered to her softly and started to rock her gently to get her to calm down. He knew she had been scared and so was he. He had feared he would lose her and he never wanted that.

Gesei felt Dustan move her a bit and then felt him rocking her in his lap as she cried some. "I was so scared... I thought I was dead... I couldn't hear anything, I could barely feel anything pasted the pain, there was nothing but black... I thought I was dead though then I started hearing you talking though still I thought I was dead." she whimpered some as she hugged him a bit more not really thinking on what she was doing.
