Dustan thought about this for a moment and then looked at Evelyn. "I would feel safer if you twomstayed here. I dot want anything to happen to gesei and the safest way to do that is to have you here." he said as he looked at them and then kissed gesei's head. He couldn't believe that he was going to have a child with the girl that he logged and could only look at her amazed.

"Okay... hm the room I stayed in before or do you have a double bedroom so Diea can stay in there with me?" Evelyn asked smiling at the two happily. She knew that Gesei belonged out here wit him... it's just how it was meant to be.

Dustan nodded, "yes I do have one o think. It is right down the Cave to the right." he said as he looked at Evelyn and then looked down at gesei. She was absolutky amazing and he loved her more then anything else. He then kissed her cheek gently and whispered, "I love you more then anything else." he then looked at Evelyn and thought that today was the best day of his life or at least one of them.

Gesei smiled up at Dustan happily and Evelyn nodded and smiled a bit at the two. "Thank you... ow would you like me to prepare the rood today since I'm sure you want to stay right at her side.?" she asked smiling softly and happily happy that she could help the two to be so happy and was glad now that Gesei had been the sacrifice... this was good for her... to be with him and away from the village.

Dustan looked at Evelyn, "if that is okay with you. Tomorrow I can take care of everything." he said and right now he didn't want to leave gesei's side. Today he just wanted to be at her side and to hold her close to him. They where having a child. Those words continued to go threw his head and he couldn't believe it.

(Hm... what do you think about maybe Evelyn and Diea have a private conversation and like Diea's just trying to figure out why her mother does all this for them? I'll be Diea if you like that idea XP )

Diea sighed as they got into the room they would be sharing and looked at her mom knowing that they were out of Dustan's hearing range. "Mom why do you insist on helping them?" she asked quietly and subconsciously put her hand to one of the many scars that Dustan had given her in his rage and shuttered some at the thought of it. Why would she want to help the two so much? All that had come from it last time was her getting malled when Dustan found out Gesei wasn't there anymore...

Evelyn sighed when she heard her daughter and looked at her, "Gesei is like a second daughter to me and I care for her as much as I care about you. If dustan makes herhappy then I will do what I can to keep her happy." she said as she looked at her and then walked over to Diea and gently placed a hand on her hand, "true I do not trust Dustan as much as I had before but I still do. He protects us and I am happy that he does." she said as she looked at Diea.

"He protects us? Mom look at me! How do you call this 'protecting'?" Diea said as she lifted the side of her shirt up some where there was two or three long scars across her side. "Mom he maned me! How can you say that he's protecting us? How is he protecting us?" she asked quietly in a whimpered as she put her shirt back down and took her hand off the scar and just put it at her side.

Evelyn sighed and then looked at her, "He protects us more then we know. He protected the village from a dragon and killed it and he keeps us from harming each other. I dont want to see what would happen if we didn't have him." he said as he looked at her. She then frowned and looked down at the ground, "I know you dont like him but I owe him more then anything else. He healed you and brought you back from teh dead, helping them is the least I can do." she said.

Diea listened and had her mouth open to say something then lapsed into silence and closed her mouth looking down. "Ow..." was all that she said and shuffled her feet a bit. She still didn't see why though she knew that she also owed her life to Dustan... though honestly he almost took it so how could she owe him anything?

Evelyn gently patted her hand and then smiled at her, "you can trust him, just be careful when he has a temper." she said softly and hoped that she coudl trust him slightly. He could be a great friend to her but was also worried he would hurt her. She then stood up and smiled, "now then I have to go and get some food ready, Gesei will like that." she said and smiled as she headed to the kitchen and started to make some food.

((how about soon we have it that dustan realizes that Gesei is going to die while he stays young and tries to go and find a way to keep her young with him. He goes off looking for it and when he comes back we could have it that he brings a friend and that friend falls for Diea or something.))

(That sounds good X3 I was also thinking something similar XD Though would she get a creature/shape shifter form also? that would be neat XD )

Diea huffed some as she sat on her bed and curled up some. "Gesei this, Gesei that, what makes that girl so special? Seriously... I just don't get it!" she huffed quietly as she looked off thinking some and rested her head on her arms as they curled around her legs.

((yeah, that would be good. when should we put this into action?))

Evelyn soon had a nice stew going and then went into there room. When she saw her curled up on the bed she walked over and gently wrapped a arm around her gently. "why dont you go and eat some stew, it will be good for you." she said as she looked at her and smiled.

(Hm... I say now or soon... now unless you want Dustan to try and talk to Diea again to get her not to be so scared of him?)

Dustan then came out of the room so that Gesei could get some rest. He then sat down on the couch and buried his face into his hands as he realized something. he coudlnt' be with her forever. He wasn't going to die anytime soon but she could. She wasn't like him and it kille dhim to know this. Why did he have to be like this and not her?

"Dustan? What is wrong?" Evelyn asked softly as she walked up to Dustan and wondered some what could be wrong... she had just given him and his wife the best news they had ever heard so... why did he seem upsetted and discomforted by something?

Dustan looked up at Evelyn and sighed, "I am going to outlive Gesei." he said simply and buried his face into his hands again. "I dont die, she can. I am not sure what I would do if she died and I cant just watch her die. I dont want her to leave me here alone here without her." he said and tried to think of ways that he could stop this for her. He wanted to keep her around for as long as he had to live.

"Ow..." was all that Evelyn could think of for a moment. "Were you or your parents born as shifters?" she asked suddenly and the question almost didn't seem to make sense... though it did. If they hadn't been born into what they were.... then there was a way to make Gesei live as long as Dustan did too.

Dustan shook his head, "my parents where normal people like you. But when I was little and very sick they got me something that they heard coudl help. ONce I took it I became this.." he trailed off as he thought of this and then jumped to his feet. "that is it, where are the notes." he said and ran over to a desk wher ehe kept everything hsi parents ever wrote about. He searched around for a little bit and soon found a book and started to search threw it.

Evelyn smiled a bit as she watched him "Glad I could remind you of that." she smiled some and was happy that he might be able to make things so Gesei wouldn't die... she would like that too.... to know that the girl was even more taken care of and to know that she more then likely would not ever have to worry about death... and if neither of them had to worry then surely that would pass to their child... she hoped that it did.

Dustan soon found it and read the notes over carefully and then looked at Evelyn, "I know where to go." he said looked at Evelyn. "would you be okay to watch Gesei for a little while?" he asked and hoped that she was okay with that. He knew what to go and get now and as he thought about it he might be able to bring some back for Evelyn.

"I don't mind at all, you just go and do what you need to and I'll be here... everything'll be fine." Evelyn smiled softly as she made a shooing motion with her hand indicating for him to leave and go do what he had to do.

Dustan nodded and then smiled at her, "thank youbut before I go I have to go see Gesei." he said and headed in to see her. She was asleep so he gently kissed her cheek and whispered to her softly before heading out. As he passed Evelyn he looked at her, "thank you." he then changed into a tiger and charged into the forest.
