Nika nodded and walked over to the portal that would take them to Olympus, stepping through first.

They arrived at the 'gates' of Olympus; big, pearly white and gold gates that opened at a light touch from Nika. A path of gold led from the gates up to the various parts of Olympus, including all the way back to every individual's temple or house. Nika stayed on the main path, heading up to the main hall.

Seth stared around at everything in awe, his eyes wide.

Dawn followed, and she looked around, impressed in spite of herself. After a moment, though, she made herself face forward and follow Nika.

Jason, on the other hand, was not ashamed to look around and try to see everything at once. He knew this was probably the only time he would get to do so.

Nika made her way up to the hall and took a deep breath.

"Try not to piss anyone off, yeah?" She looked at the others before she grinned wryly. "Even I will be doing my best to behave."

Seth couldn't help but chuckle at that and nodded his consent.

"Which should tell you something," Dawn teased. Jason nudged her, and she shoved him back. "What? I'll behave, too."

Nika nodded and pushed the door open, stepping into the hall.

All of the main gods were there, each in their seat as the four walked in, and all eyes turned to them. Nika met Ares gaze, noting the surprise there with a vicious pleasure.

Dawn looked at Apollo briefly, and then glanced around the room, although she didn't meet anyone's gaze except her father's. She wasn't that ballsy. She didn't have a deathwish.

Jason nodded slightly in greeting to Apollo, meeting his gaze for a moment longer than Dawn had.

"Congratulations," Zeus said, rising. "You did well for your limited capabilities."

"Our thanks." Nika inclined her head to him. Trust him to compliment them with a back slap at the same time.

Neither Dawn nor Jason replied, they just bowed their heads a little in respect. Dawn didn't trust herself not to be a smartass at the moment, so silence was best.

Zeus left, since he had nothing more to say to them.

Ares got up and walked off to the side, motioning for Nika to come with him. Her eyebrows shot up but she followed him.

Apollo also got up, and went over to his children.

"So... was that it?" Jason asked. "Just a couple of words?" He paused. "Can I have a car too? I won't think it's gaudy, I swear."

Dawn glared at him and whacked him across the stomach with her bow. Apollo looked at her.

"I didn't give you that to hit your brother with it," he said mildly. Dawn shrugged.

"So?" she said. "Makes me feel better." As she spoke, Artemis walked up next to her twin brother. Without warning, she hit him with her own bow.

"Hey!" Apollo yelped. Artemis ignored him.

"I see your point," she said evenly to Dawn. Dawn and Jason were both speechless.

"So. You're alive." Ares looked at her.

"Again, yes. No thanks to you." Nika looked at him evenly.

"Hey, that wasn't my fault. I didn't kill you."

"No, but you didn't help me either." Nika glared at him.

"Not my fault." Ares shrugged.

"Screw you." Nika turned away from him. "Oh, by the way, I have a gift for you."

"What?" Ares paused, wary.

"Catch." Nika tossed a gold net at him, half over him, before she took off at a dead run, sliding to a stop behind Calix and Eros.

Dawn's attention was drawn by the semi-argument, and she watched what Nika did, stunned. For a moment, she couldn't believe her friend had done that.

"No way," Jason said in disbelief.

"Oh she did," Dawn replied.

Calix and Eros both doubled over laughing. At least until Ares started towards them, fury in his eyes. Phobos and Deimos intervened and pulled him away.

"That was awesome, little sis." Eros turned on Nika with a grin. "Well done."

"We've taught you well." Calix ruffled up her hair, only to get swatted.

"That was just..." Dawn trailed off. There were no words for what had just happened. Jason, on the other hand, was thoroughly impressed. He didn't think anyone had the backbone to do such a thing, but obviously he was wrong, and it was amazing. He watched Nika admiringly.

Eros noticed Jason's look aimed at Nika and a slow smile spread across his lips. He reached for his necklace, which was how he normally carried around his bow, and was stopped by a stiff arm to the gut.

"Eros, no playing around. Ass." Nika rolled her eyes and stayed behind Calix.

Eros pouted before he walked over to go hit on Dawn. "Well, well! A pretty new face."

Seth's eyes narrowed just a little.

Dawn raised an eyebrow. She knew how to deal with demigods. Eros was another story.

"I had nothing to do with that," she said evenly.

"So? You know Nika and she hasn't killed you yet." Eros grinned and slipped his arm over her shoulders easily.

Nika snickered and tugged on Calix's hair before tossing his general's braid over his shoulder to hang down his chest again.

Dawn shrugged his arm off of her shoulders.

"Don't," she said. Nothing good could possibly come from having a god flirting with her.

Eros wasn't put off. He opened his mouth to flirt more before Nika smacked the back of his head.

"Eros. Go find someone else to bug." Nika rolled her eyes.

"I doubt it's a good idea to flirt with my sister," a new voice broke in. Dawn jumped slightly and turned around. She didn't recognize the two gods who had just arrived, but it didn't take a genius to figure out who they were. They both had a slight resemblance to Apollo, just like her demigod brothers did. She was torn between thanking him and snapping that she didn't need help. Her temper was already a bit raw from having to deal with their father again, so snapping was a definite possibility.

"She looks like she's about to shoot you too, Aristaeus," the other newcomer said.

"Nah, she'll just hit you both," Jason broke in. He was much more easy around Aristaeus and Asclepius than Dawn was.

"You're both late," Apollo said to the two newcomers.

"My fault," Aristaeus said. "Something was up with one of the hives, and I made him wait for me."

Nika snorted as she looked at the two. "This is Eros we're talking about. If it walks, he hits on it."

"Hey!" Eros pouted. "I do have standards."

"Really, really low standards." Nika rolled her eyes.

"You're so cruel, little sister."

"I know."

Dawn just rolled her eyes. She really wanted to go back to camp, where she could shoot things that would actually die.

"Can I go home now?" she asked in general.

"Yeah, probably," Nika said, glancing at the others as if daring them to protest.

"I'll walk you out," Calix said, glancing at Seth and Jason with a little smirk. And he promptly proceeded to pick up Nika and throw her over his shoulder.

"Calix! You... you... Put me down right now!" Nika was clearly snarling.

"Make me."

"I'll bite you."

Calix merely snorted and pinched the back of her leg before setting off for the gates again.

Jason snickered a bit, but followed. Going back to camp sounded good now. Dawn quickly followed suit. She wasn't comfortable on Olympus.

Aristaeus and Asclepius watched their half-siblings leave, and they both noticed how the Hermes boy kept glancing at Dawn. Asclepius nudged Apollo.

"Father, do you see that?" he asked softly.

"I do," Apollo replied, just as quietly.

"What do you intend to do about it?"

"I might have a chat with my brother about it. For now, don't interfere."

"Yes, Father," Asclepius and Aristaeus said together.

Seth rolled his eyes and stayed at the back of the group, still looking around at everything.

Nika managed to roll herself off Calix's shoulder and kicked his ass. Literally. Calix scowled at her but opened the gates again.

"Oh, by the way, I'm going back with you guys. I'm bored and I feel like finding a good bar."

Nika paled. Actually paled. "Calix..."

Calix merely grinned and grabbed her wrist, half-dragging her through with him.
