Nika nodded and started driving over to the pizza place, going inside to get their food. She returned less than a minute later, holding a very large pizza, and she deposited it on Dawn's lap.

"Hooray for food."

Dawn grinned.

"I agree," she said. She held on to the box so it didn't slide around while Nika drove.

Nika drove back to the apartment and parked before getting out. She got the bag with the goodies and the DVD before she opened the door to the apartment.

Dawn followed her with the pizza, letting her unlock the apartment and take the wards down.

Nika put everything away swiftly before she got out plates for them so they could eat the pizza. She plucked out three pieces and went to the couch, her mind solely on 'food' mode.

Dawn set up the movie while Nika was attacking the pizza. Once the previews were going, she went and grabbed some pizza for herself and sat down.

Nika slowed down after she'd attacked one piece of pizza, eating the next two more slowly while she watched the preview. It had been a long time since she'd seen any movies.

Dawn didn't pay much attention to the previews. She'd seen them before. She settled in once the movie itself started.

Nika pressed play once the menu came up, eager to see the actual movie.

Getting up, Dawn grabbed another slice of pizza and then settled in for the movie.

Nika settled in to watch the movie, and found herself laughing at it a couple times.

Dawn found herself giggling, too, even though she'd seen the movie before. It was still just as amusing as before.

Nika grabbed another piece of pizza, too amused by the movie to want to miss much.

Dawn didn't take any more pizza, but kept watching the movie. It was amusing.

"So," she said when the movie was over, "have you any idea why a raven is like a writing desk?"

Nika snorted, shaking her head. "Nope. Have you?"

Dawn grinned.

"Poe wrote on both," she said simply. It was cheesy, but it was an answer that fit.

"True, but possibly not at the same time," Nika shot back. Just to be difficult.

Dawn snickered.

"But he probably did," she replied.

"From what I understand he wrote on anything available." Nika grinned.

"This is true," Dawn replied. She shrugged. "Still, it's an answer to the unbeatable riddle."

"I know. I'm just having fun giving you a hard time about it." Nika smirked.

"Yeah, I know," Dawn replied. She paused for a moment. "Darn it, now I've got The Raven in my head." She sighed. "This is kind of annoying sometimes."

Nika snorted and got up, going into the kitchen to work on the chocolate-covered strawberries.

Dawn got up and followed her.

"Need a hand?" she asked.

"Sure, if you want," Nika said. "If you could wash the strawberries that'd be great."
