Mordecai kissed her. "Miss me?"he asked, smiling.

" Of course." Finx mumbled falling asleep.

mordecai fell asleep next to her.

Finx woke to Neo's crying " Baby." she sat up and hurried to the baby. " Hush little one." she said changing his diaper humming.

"You make a perfect mother. "he said.

" Oh I didn't realize you where awake." Finx blinked at him.

"I'm fine attuned to your heart-beat. I can hear it a mile away. "He said.

" That doesn't mean your awake." Finx made a face.

"I notice when you heartbeat grows quieter. "he said, kissing her, and started making breakfast.

" Weirdo." Finx teased rocking Neo gentle.

Mordecai put her plate in front of her.

" Food." Finx ate one handed the baby in her other arm.

"Good. I got a present for you."he said, giving her hecate, the baby dragon she hatched. "Grim managed to get her out in time."he said

" Hi there cutie." Finx kissed the dragons head she chirped and nestled on Finx's shoulder.

"Knew that might cheer you up. "he said, kissing her head
