Ayaka felt the baby moving in her stomach and gently rested Jake's hand there. "The baby wants you to be safe too Jake." She whispered gently. One of the EMT's looked at Jake and asked "Do you give her permission to make decisions for you if you are unable to make your own?" She held out a sheet of paper for Ayaka to sign her name on and for him to sign his name on.

Jake smiled as she took his hand and he felt the baby move and smiled "well then i will have to try even harder now" he said and looked at the EMT "i will, i trust her with my life and soul" he said smiling at Ayaka, he sighed the paper and smiled at her again "there you go"

"For something this painful, you're both handling it well." The EMT said taking the sheet back. "We're almost there. Ayaka... I'm not sure you can come in with us. We might have to let you stay in the waiting room. At least until they know he's stable enough, and they aren't worried about anything." Ayaka nodded at the woman and looked to Jake. She leaned over and kissed him softly. "I'll be in as soon as I can be." Her voice cracked and she bit back tears as they pulled up to the hospital. Jake was rushed out quickly and into the ER. Ayaka shouted after him. "I love you!"

Jake looked at the two and had a small frown of sorrow "i will miss you" he said kissing her back, when they began to rush him in he called back weakly "i love you too!" and she was soon gone as the door shut and he was rushed through the hallways, the lead the bed into a free room and set him on a hospital bed
(time skip like a hour?)

(Yeah.)

About an hour later Ayaka was still seated in the waiting room. She had been crying for a good amout of time after he left. But so were many of the others. Finally a nurse came out and called her over. "He should be waking up anytime now. So you may go in." The woman led her to his room. Ayaka ran to his bedside and took his hand before the woman could say anything more.

Jake eyes twitched a bit as they began to open, the room slowly began to come into sight as he fully opened his eyes and felt something holding his hand, he looked over to his hand to see Ayaka hold it and he smiled lightly "im glad you here" he said holding her hand a bit tighter "i missed you while i was asleep, it felt as if i was still awake... but... where am i again?"

"You're at the hospital. That's why you're wearing the silly pants that aren't yours." She smiled and pointed to the pants that looked like they were for a little kid. She knew it was probably because they couldn't get a regular hospital gown to fit over his wings. Really that was okay with her though. They looked funny on people anyway. Ayaka pulled a chair over to the side of his bed so she could sit next to him.

Jake chuckled as he looked at the pants he was wearing "i see" he said shuffling a bit "why was i sleeping with my wings folded? when i lay down i need them unfolded otherwise it gives me a cramp when i open them up" he said trying to open them but the gown stopped him from opening "this is why i hate hospitals"

"Because no one was here to tell them that." Ayaka stated reaching over and untying the gown part and taking it off of him. He was shirtless now but that wouldn't really bother anyone because he had the blankets pulled up all the way over him. "Don't fold them if it hurts." She whispered leaning over to kiss his cheek.

Jake smiled as he felt the reliefe of her taking his gown off "thank you" he said kissing her as he unfolded them causing the ends to poke out from under the blankets "and ok, i wont infold them until i can get up" he said smiling at her kiss, when she kissed his cheek he gently place his hand on hers "i love you" he whispered

She gently rested her head against him and squeezed his hand. "I love you too." Slowly sitting back up she reached over and brushed her hand across his chest with a smile and left it on the warm smooth skin below the bandage. If he handn't been hooked up to so many things she would curl up next to him on the bed.

Jake smiled at her as she squeezed his hands "im glad to hear it" he said smiling a bit more, he felt her hand on his chest and layed back relaxing as he felt her warm hand on his chest, her touch always calmed him or made him relaxed, it was like she had the magic to relax him "don't ever leave me" he said looking at her "please"

Ayaka smiled slightly. "I can promise you that. We're family forever. You can't get rid of me." Her voice was soft as she gently moved her hand against the skin with a smile. A slight laugh escaped her lips. "You know I should be the one asking you never to leave me. I'm much harder to deal with."

Jake smiled at her words, that alowed him to rest with no worries in his head "thank you... thank you very much" he said closing his eyes, he next comment caused him to chuckle a bit as he looked at her again this time with one eye open "i would never dream of leaving you, and no your not" he said with a pout

A nurse came in and checked a few things on Jake, like his pulse and blood pressure. She looked between the two and sighed. "I'm suppose to ask you to leave... Only immediate family can stay overnight." Ayaka looked up at the woman slightly annoyed. "I am his family. I'm not leaving." She states holding his hand tightly. There was no chance that she was spending the night away from him.

Jake watched the nurse cheak up on his health, upon hearing that Ayaka would have to leave he growled at the nurse "shes the only familey i have... she either stays or i go with her" he said kissing Ayaka's cheek softly "i love you so much Ayaka" he said to her and then looked at the nurse "and is it ok if Ayaka sleeps next to me? it helps me sleep knowing she is safe"

The nurse sighed. "Whatever. But if you get introuble don't blame me." The woman stated walking out of the room. Ayaka smiled and gently moved to climb up onto the bed next to him, careful not to hurt him. Ayaka laid her head on the pillow and rested her arm on his chest, above where he got hurt. "Love you too."

Dante watched the woman leave while growling "we wont get in trouble" once the woman had left and Ayaka had climbed onto his bed, he placed his hand gently onto her arm and smiled as he looked into her eyes "when i get out of this hospital, we can begin the planning of making a room sutible for the little one" he said kissing her

"We have to know if it's a boy or girl first." Ayaka said softly smiling at him. Her eyes slowly closed as she moved closer to him. The bed was rather small, so the fact that both of them were sharing it made it feel even smaller, but she didn't mind, as long as he was okay.

Jake smiled at her and nodded at her comment "that is a very good point" he said and chuckled softly and she moved closer to him and he wrapped his arms around her gently and kissed her softly "mabey tomorrow you could ask if the doctors could cheak for you?" he suggested, but for now he just want to cuddle up in bed with her

"What should we name it?" Ayaka asked softly thinking about it. Really she had no idea, it would definitely have to be something sweet, but something they could grow up with. A laugh crossed her lips as she curled into him. "Maybe it'll be a little baby Jakey. How cute would that be?"

Jake smiled and shrugged as she asked about the name "well... we could name it Jill if it is a female" he said and heard her laugh, he blushed at her comment and chuckled nervously "w-well... i-im not c-cute, im m-more evil l-looking" he stuttered as he chuckled nervously and kissed her

"Aww then it would be so very boring." Ayaka said softly with a smile. "I hope it's a boy. There's going to be so much trouble because it's both of us. I just think a boy could handle it better than a girl." She sighed softly and hugged herself into him. "Maybe we should name him William. I like that name."

Jake listened and giggled "that is a very good point... and william is a good name" he said kissing her lightly, he twitched a bit and grabbed his wound "ouch... that was painful" he said shuffling a bit and then settled back down and hugged her close again

She opened her eyes to look at him as he shifted frowning. "Are you taking pain medicine?" She asked sitting up and leaning over to kiss his wound. "You know a Neko's suppose to be able to heal things. I wish I knew how." Ayala snuggled back up next to him feeling the baby kick inside of her. "We could switch bodies if the pain is to much for you. Then you can sleep now."
