Isaac laughed when he heard her and smiled, "I have never let anyone take care of me, I have always been the one taking care of others. I have to since I am both father and brother to a sister still growing." he said as he looked at her. He hardly let anyone see him when he was weak, he had to only be strong just incase something happened to another. He then followed her outside but still something didn't smell right and he stayed on high alert. He then nodded as he looked back to May, "yes, aurora is one too. Any member of my family is one but we are the last. It is why we have ot be very carefull." he said as he walked forward a little bit and as if it was the world most natural thing he body shifted. Soon he stood as a wolf and looked at her, "if we dont have control over our emotions we can shift without meaning to. So we have ot be very careful." he said as he looked at her and then walked over so that she could get on.

Aurora smiled at hte thought of food and horses and just imagined playing. Instantly she pearked up and nodded, "that sounds like a lot of fun." when he spoke of food her stomach rummbled as if it was a roar. "If you have it I would like to eat a whole cow and maybe a few chickens." she said and then realized her mistake. THat was what she truelly wanted to eat, that was what sounded good to her now. She then looked at him and hoped he took it as a joke, if he didn't she wasn't sure how she was going to explain this to him.

May nodded as she heard him and walked to where he was. "Then I guess we will have to keep you guys calm. No wonder pa let you guys come so soon. He had told us no more heirs this year and up till now he was true to his world. I see now you must have ties to some of our fathers family. My uncle is a wolf. Lee doesn't believe me. I was young when I found out. We had been in the mountains with the natives and I had got lost. It was a wolf that saved me from the other wolfs. The wolf lead me to a cave and stayed with me the night and kept me safe and dry from the storm that rolled in. It stayed there till the others found me vanishing before the others got to me. Years later I was up in the mountains again this time with Bo one of our kin looking for the rest of our family up there that is when I saw my uncle and the others. It was the same wolf that had saved me he even had the mark on his left shoulder from the other wolf. When he shifted out of his form I remember how shocked I was seeing it. He has a pack up there they hide in the forest there along side with the natives. No one speaks of him or that part of the family. The rest of our family banished them to the mountains. I haven't seen them in a while I miss them. Lee would die if he knew I took the test and passed I have my marking to prove... I am sorry this is not helping any one me just blurting crap out." She said as she gently moved to his back.

Lee laughed as he heard her and shook his head as he drove. He pulled up to a beautiful building looking as if it was out of a page of a travel magazine for Paris. He open the truck door for her as he smiled. " Come on little lady lets get you something to eat and maybe you want tackle anyone here. Though I am glad that I was not the one you wanted to tackle today."

Isaac smirked when he heard her and listned as she climbed onto his back. He then laughed as he started to head out of there and shook his head, "no it is fine, I like listening to you talk. It is calming." he said as he walked and kept a ear open. Something wasn't right out here and he wasn't sure if he was a target or not. "and wolves tend to stick together. Since there are few of us out there anymore. When we find a few wondering, like your father did with us, they tend to help us right away. In truth if your father hadn't of taken us in I am sure that we would of just moved on." he said as walked out of there and remembered the day they had found her father. "but It is good that you stay in contact with your other family. There aren't meny of us out there so to know a pack and to knwo that your uncle is one is something very few people know about." he said as he walked.

Aurora calmed down when she heard him laugh and guessed he thought it was a joke. She was safe for now. She just stared at the building they pulled up to and smield at him. "food sounds great and I will tackle anyone that gets in my way of the food." she said as she looked at him and smiled.

May smiled as she lessen to him feeling safer for a change. She tried not to put to much pressure on him or her legs. In all honestly she should stay there and get some held with her injuries. Though she wanted to get back to the horses where she belonged. Her body would heal soon enough. She had been in worse shape. "I am glad you didn't move on. I rather like having you around." She said without thinking about what had slipped through her mouth. If she wasn't in pain and had her mind on everything she might have blushed at admitting that much of how she felt for the strange handsome guy. "We better get going it will be dark soon." She said as she felt a sudden chill run down her spine as if something was watching them.


Bo smiled as he lead her through the front gate and then thorough the front glass door. The place was a mansion with marble floors and only the finest of things. He lead her out the back door to the garden where tea tables where set up and was lead through the mazes of hedge decorated with flowers to a isolated table with view of the grand stables and pastier. He turned as he gave her a bow and pulled out the chair for him hoping that she wouldn't think this was over doing it. He and May had grown up here this was his Aunts place and just like the rest of the family money wasn't a option. Out of the two Bo had to give credit to his sister. She had more money in the bank than both their parents and was rather good at investments and had grown his to a wealthy sum of money. May also owned her own mansion in the mountains something that no normal senior could say. Though he owned his own mansion in the mountains as well close to where his family was. They got them there for their family to use and to use when they wanted to get away.

Isaac moved quickly threw the forest but kept his attention high, just incase anything happened. He made sure he made hte ride as smooth as possible for May. When he heard her he smiled, "I like being here around you. But you have to remember, I am wild inside and can be dangerous." he said and part of him feared that he could or would hurt her. He then picked his pace up when he heard her and nodded. After a little while right befor the sun set he made it to the horses and then looked at her form the corner of his eyes, "get off carefully, I think your still hurting." he said and you could tell he was worried about her.

Aurora couldnt' help but stare as she looked around the place and followed Lee. Everything was amazing and she then looked at him. Once they were at there table she slowly sat down and felt so out of place here. She was a beast and yet she was sitting at such a beautiful place. She then looked over at Lee and then down at hte table. She knew that she had to tell him the truth about herself. She knew Isaac wouldn't like it but she didn't want to keep him in the shadows to long. He deserved to know why she always dissappeared. She then looked at Lee, "so how is it that a simple man like yourself managed to go to a place like this?" she asked softly and decided to just talk to him for now.

May gently stroked Isaac without thinking as he moved. She blushed slightly as she moved from him being careful and made her way to where the horse laid in pain. She pulled out her things and went to work saving the horses life and bandaging the wounds. She worked well into the middle of the night finally stopping as the moon was high above them. She shivered a little as she sat there wrapping her arms around her legs as she found herself lost in thought about what had happen that day and Issac. "You could hurt me but you wouldn't. That is what all wolfs say at first. " She said at about a whisper as she stared at the horses gathering around the stallion taking turns being on guard and resting.




Lee laughed as he heard Aurora. He loved the expression on her face it was priceless. "Simple? Me and my Family Simple? I laugh at the notion. You truly do not know us at all. Our family is anything but simple and normal. Half of use you can say come from wolfs. The other half more like bats." He said meaning it literary. Though no other human would get what he really meant to them such things where just old stories told to frighten the young before they went to bed. one of his uncles held the werewolf blood the other was a rather old and well known vampire. His dad the human of bunch though human was not the right word. His father just hadn't chosen a side yet. The statement only reminded him of house troubled his family really was and how much he hated be a decedent with his great great great great grandfathers blood. It would mean that sooner or later he to would have to pic a side. His mind snapped from the dark and deep thoughts that plagued him over his family as he saw the look Aurora gave. "We work hard for what we have is all. 'He said changing his tone as he gave her a warm smile instead. " What would you like to eat my aunt and cousins can cook amazing things. Though I bet if you like we could go cook instead." He said as he enjoyed the view and how beautiful Aurora looked there at that moment.

Isaac smiled as he watched her slid off his back and then instantly started to look around. He then walked around the area and rubbed his sides against the rocks and trees aroud them. Once he was sure that this area was marked off he walked over to May and watched her work. Slowly he shifted back into his human form and smiled when he saw that she was just about finished. Smiling at her words he wrapped a arm around her and pulled her close to him. "your right I wouldn't hurt you, just try to protect you and keep you safe." he said and could feel how cold she was now that she was close. "stay close, wolves are warmer then most people." he whispered into her ear. He then realized just how late it was and looked up into the sky, "I need to call my sister." he said as he looked down at may. Slowly he then brought his head up and a high howl filled the air around them. It was one filled with happiness, worry and calling. After a little bit he stopped and listened. He then smiled as he heard a faint howl back and smiled down at May, "your brother is going to be in for a surprise." he said softly.

Aurora listned to him and her eyes stared at him whens he heard the wolves and bats part. Something about his words sounded true, more true then the work hard part. Without much thought she stood up and walked over to him. Pressing the side of her face to his neck she smelled him. Slowly a smile worked onto her face and she pulled away, about to say something when she heard a howl. It was Isaac and when she heard the news about May she coudln't help but jump up and down, "this is perfect.' she said and then let out a howl in reply. ONce she was done she realized how bazzar this was to Lee. Blushing slightly she smiled and looked at him, "sorry, but I really need to tell you something. Isaac said he already told may so I can tell you." she said and she smiled as she looked at him. "I am a werewolf." it felt better to tell him and she watched him carefully to see what he would say.

May blushed slightly as she felt Isaac pull her close to him. Her eyes widen as she realized she had for gotten about school and practice. "Crap! Lee!....I am in for it tomorrow....I think I will just be sick." she said not wanting to face the squad or her brother right now. She looked up at Isaac as she wondered what he meant. It then hit her as she almost jumped to her feet in fear. "NO!" She yelled without thinking. "You can't tell Lee! He want take it well I promise you! Aurora is with him she can't tell him!" She said fanatically almost going hysterical. She knew there would be no chance she would every get to be with Isaac alone now and Aurora would get the cold shoulder soon enough. " She began running not looking where she was going or caring as she knew she had to hurry and find Lee before he did something stupid or went off on Aurora. She was innocent and she seemed to make him happy something no one could do lately. She let out a small yelp as she found herself tumbling down a steep cliff that had been hidden in the darkness. She closed her eyes till she stopped trying to fight the urge to scream for help as she realized she was in a man made trap for some animal. She didn't move her body it hurt to much to. She could tell from the wet liquid she felt oozing from her head she was hurt rather badly.

Lee arched a brow as he watched Aurora smell his neck. This was kind of weird it reminded him of his Aunt on the wolf side when she first met them. He froze as he heard the howl and heard Aurora respond after hearing it. Nothing escaped his mouth as he sat there like a frozen memory. He didn't know what to say or do as he heard those evil words. The only thing that ran through his mind was to run. She was a wolf and soon he would have to choose witch side he would be something he didn't want. His father had chosen wolf his mother was a "cold one" as the wolfs called her kind. They had May and him both before they had chosen their side. Some how it worked though the family wasn't to happy about it. May and him where the next generation and both sides wanted them. He slowly backed away pushing his way through the hedges not taking his eyes off of Aurora as he made a mess on the way till he came to the door and bolted as fast as he could not sure where he was running to.

Isaac was surprised when he heard hte panic in her voice and before he could do anything she had already shot out of his arms and was running into the forest. Quickly he ran after her and followed her sent. Yet as he ran he caught the sent of something else. It was the sent of other humans, hunters. Growling he knew he had to be careful but he didnt' care, eh ahd to look for May. After a while he smelled blood and knew this was bad. After a little whiel eh found a hole and saw her at hte bottom. "May, stay still there is trouble." he said and he then jumped down without a second thought. Slowly he pulled her close to him, careful to make sure that he didn't hurt her. "everything is going to be okay." he said and knew that the chance at peace he and Aurora had here had just gone up in smoke. What he felt for may could never be anything more, things were just to complicated and he knew that Aurora would feel like it was all her fault. Looking at her head he quickly took his shirt and ripped it, wrapping it around her head. "is there pain anywhere else?" he asked

Aurora watched him and had hoped to see happiness yet the look on her face made her feel like the first time someone had found out about her. Horror. She then just watched as he backed into the hedge and she felt tears run down her face. She should of known better then to tell anyone. The happiness she felt being around him was never going to be there again. Anger at herself, sadness for Lee, and many other emotions filled her and tears ran down her face. She just wanted to have someone to be with and yet that never could be. Turning her body bursted into her wolf form and with speed like no other she ran. Ran far and fast, not caring where she went just knowing that she was unwanted by everyone except for her brother.

May stared up as she heard the sound of Isaac's voice. She closed her eyes as she laid there not daring to move. She wanted to yell at him to run but knew it was a little to late for that. She stared at him as tears slipped down her face not from her physical pain but knowing he wasn't going to stay. They had just met but she knew she would never be the same without him here. It didn't matter what happen to her now.


Lee felt his heart break into pieces as he saw the tears in Aurora's eyes before he ran. He noticed soon enough he was in the forest and this time running as if his life counted on it. It was the same feeling he felt when May had been almost killed as a child. It hit him all at once as he ran faster and faster out of instinct. May was endanger and he had to save her. A low growl came from him as he smelt the sent of blood his blood not any blood May's blood.

Isaac checked her over and found a few more wounds but nothing to serious. Yet it still worried him and he found himself holding her close, having a feeling that he would be torn away from her soon. When he saw her tears he knew it was true and with gental hands he brushed her tears away. Kissing her cheek he whispered to her softly, "promise to come back someday." he then held her close to him and waited for what ever was to come. He could feel someone coming and it wasn't good yet he found he didnt care. He wasn't going to leave May's side yet. But when he heard Aurora's howl he knew how it was and just shook his head. Her heart was bleeding and yet no shot had been fired. She had tried to open her heart to another again and instead of a scar on her body he was on her heart.

Aurora continued to run and when she thought she was far enough she sat down and just cried. The last time she had told anyone she had gained a scar that wrapped around her body. It still hurt and now she had one around her heart for she had thought she could actually be with someone. yet no one wanted to be with a werewolf, she was doomed to roam the earth like a unwanted child forever more. Lifting her head up she howled. It was one that even if you didn't under stand the words in the song hte tone made your heart ache like you had just lost a loved one and make tears tug at your eyes.

May stared into his eyes as she felt her heart begin to shatter. She held on to him not wanting him to go. She tried to smile but found her heart only shattering even more as she reached up and gently stroked his face gently. She tried to say not go but nothing came out. Her eyes widen as she heard shouts then sound of guns with them. She closed her eyes as she shuttered ready for the worst.


Lee ran full speed as he felt his senses melt away. All of a sudden he saw the forest in a different light. He could spell May and what he assumed was Isaac. As he ran he caught sight of the hunters. A loud thundering growl came from him as his body melted away and fur soon replaced his skin. In a matter of moments a rather large wolf appeared where the human had once been. This was new to him the power the smells everything. He lunged at the men quickly disposing of the men. He destroyed the guns all but one that shot at him. He let out a loud defiant growl as he leaped into the air and landed on the man before he could shoot again ripping his teeth into the mans arms some how managing to let go of him before he killed him though the need to kill and hunt them all down was there. His coat was soaked in the hunters blood as he stood there waiting to see if any more dared to come back. He lifted his head and let out a loud howl. It was one of happiness. He had found what he was meant to be. He had feared the time he would shift to either a wolf or a bat though now that it happen he loved it.

Isaac felt her cling onto him and could feel her want for him to stay. Yet he knew he couldn't, it was dangerous, it was always to dangerous. Leaning into her touch he looked into her eyes and you could see every promise he wanted to make to her and yet couldn't say. Though when he heard the gun shots and shouting he pulled May close to him, curling his body around hers to make sure that nothing hurt her. Yet everything soon calmed down and all he heard was the sound of a howl. A wolf howl and it rang of happiness. He wasn't sure who the wolf was but he knew he wasn't going to leave May now. If that wolf wasn't a friend he wanted to keep her safe. Gently stroking her head he said softly, "everything is going to be okay."

Aurora stayed there and even from far away could hear a fight going on. Yet the howl that she hear rang with happiness, but she didn't care. She had lost everything. She had lost a friend, a town, a family. All that she had left was her brother and in the begining it was all she ever had. Curling up into a ball she stayed there, wanting the pain from everyting to just go away and leave her alone.

Lee laughed as he jumped about enjoying his new found body and life. He turned as his ears shot up hearing the sound of movement not far from him. He sniffed the air as he slowly walked to the edge of the hole and peered down as his tale wagged like a puppy who found his master. "MAY!" He said in more of a bark as he saw May. A low growl escaped him as he saw Issac there. "You..I should have known." He muttered under his breath as he shook his head moving away from the hole and the stench of what he assumed what Isaac. If she smelt him she wouldn't want him he stunk. He then paused as he smelt another stench and realized it was him hating the smell. He was about to start complying when his ears stood up as he lifted his nose in the air and smelt another smell. He knew that smell before he could thing to help May he was off and quickly found the source of the smell. She was beautiful it had to be Aurora. He just stared at her. "Aurora" He said without thinking that he wasn't the Lee she knew anymore and felt bad seeing her like that. He slowly made his way to her wanting to rush to her and nuzzle her about to when he noticed the paws where his hands should be and froze stepping back feeling out of his comfort zone. What had he done? He had broke her heart making her think she wasn't the most amazing thing he had ever seen because he was afraid of what he was. And here he was just like her only he was a jerk. "I...have something to tell you." Slipped from his mouth as he hung his head feeling worse than anything he had ever felt before.


May held on to Isaac as she heard the fighting. She open her eyes as she heard the howl and looked up wondering who this belonged to. Her eyes widen as she thought she heard Lee's voice come from the strange over sized wolf that peered down at her and Isaac. "Lee...wolf" Was all she could get out as the loss of blood began to take its toll on her body as she drifted off to sleep.

Aurora stayed like that and didn't even hear anyone come close to her. She just wanted to be alone in her misery. Though when she heard thr voice her eyes shot open. Seeing the wolf before her she wasn't to sure and she got smaller. Though when he spoke again she could tell it was lee. Joy to see him as a wolf bubbled up inside her and then rage filled her. Growling she got to her feet and got in his face, "what do you need to tell me? Because so far I can tell you want nothing to do with me. So why are you even here! If you want to leave a mark on my body don't worry, you wounded me already pretty well. So what on earth do you want?!" she growled Ito his face and fur stood up. She wasn't happy, not one bit.

Isaacs was surprised when he heard lee and saw a big wolf head. Though when he saw may slipping into sleep he knew he had to do something. Gently he gathered her into his arms and managed to jump out if thr hole. He then started to run, nit caring about lee or anything. He had to get may to safetly and that was what mattered. He didn't even care that he ran faster then the oher humans almost in plain sight. He just had to keep may alive. Once at the hospital he yelled, "help! Now!" he thrn saw a nurse come wih a streacher and took may away with a doctor by her side.

Lee was surprised at the reaction but half expected it as he coward low to the ground hanging his head. "That....it doesn't matter why would you care you are just going to leave anyhow. You already made up your mind whatever I say doesn't matter." He said as sadness filled his eyes as he turned bolting away from her at full speed. He tried to think but couldn't as pain ripped through his body. He wanted to tell her the truth but he had already broke her heart and she hated him now like every thing else he cared about. It wouldn't matter he would leave here soon enough and join his uncle wasn't like there was anything here for him.

May tried to wake but couldn't as she heard voices. She shivered as she felt the deathly cold hands and heard the musical voices around her. She knew those voices they where like her mothers. It was her dear uncle and Aunt she knew. Though why where they there and why couldn't she wake what had happen. She wondered as she laid there trapped in her own body. She tried to move and wake but nothing happen.

Aurora watched him go but then realized she had a bad mistake and instantly bolted after him. She quickly caught up to him, she was better trained as being a wolf and could easily catch up to him. Withoit mich though she tackled him and pinned him down to the ground. She then looked at him in the eyes, "tell me right here and right now what I am to you. I want to know." she said and you could see she wanted to know. You could see the pain from all her other friendships in her eyes and it was easy to see why she was so quick to anger before. But right now she needed to knkw before she decided anything, she needed to knkw how he felt about her.

Isaac watched may with her aunt and uncle. He could smell the bat and blood on them but didn't move to attack. He knew they might be the only thing to keep may alive. Gently he reached out and took mays hand I ti his. Gentky he stroked her fingers and whispered, "please wake up, I need you." and he did, he neededher worse then ever before.

Lee let out a yelp as he found himself on his back staring up into those beautiful eyes. He felt anger flash over his body for moment but soon gained control of himself as he lessen to her and stared into her eyes. "I need you." He said as his eyes soften meaning what he said. " You bring me to life and make me want to be better than what I am. I was scared of this.' He said as he looked to his wolf form." It was either this or a vampire for me. Neither one really excited me both are painful and come with their own risk. Though this means..." He said as it hit him that May wasn't around and gone. "MAY!" He said as tears almost welled up in his eyes. "She will be a vampire. She has not choice in the matter. Each side of the family has to have a heir. Since I chose wolf that laves May with vampi..." He couldn't finished the sentence as he looked at Aurora. "We have to Find your Brother and May!"

May heard Isaac as she felt his hand. She noticed that the room didn't feel near as cold and the voices had vanished where had they went. She heard Isaac again as she slowly open her eyes. Had she been dreaming that she couldn't open her eyes as she stared at him a faint smile appeared on her lips. She reached her with her free hand and tried to stroke his face. "What are you doing here? You have some pups to take care of and horses." She said weakly trying to sound tough not wanting him to worry for her.

Aurora was surprised by his words but felt like she could cry again. He needed her, someone besides her brother actually needed her. She wanted to press her nose against his cheek but that was before she heard his words about May. Quickly getting off of him she looked at him, "Isaac can take care of himself. We know about Vampires and if his nose is as good as mine he will smell the bat in her blood. But we should go to them." she said and then quickly licked his cheek and pressed her nose against it, "I need you too." she said softly.

Isaac smiled when he saw her open her eyes and saw her reach out. Moving closer he let her hand touch his. Sighing, he looked at her and shook his head, "pups will be fine and you already treated the horses." he said to her softly and then pressed his lips to her palm, kissing it gently. He then smelled the faint blood that was left on her. It smelled of wolf and bat. He had a feeling that something was going to happen and what ever it was he would take it with open arms. "right now I am just concerned about you." he said as he looked at her and kept her hand in his.

Lee stared up into Aurora's eyes as he heard her and nuzzled her back as he felt emotions flood him. He got up not able to look away from her wanted to just stay there with her. Though some where he knew he couldn't not yet any how. "I am sorry..." He whispered to her as he nuzzled her.


May smirked as she laughed slightly. "I am fine you need to get to Auora and get some sleep. You have school tomorrow. I will be out soon enough." She said as she looked around wondering if she had dreamed about her aunt and uncle being there. That meant her Mother knew by now and her dad would soon enough.

Aurora smiled as he just watched her and thought he looked rather handsome as a wolf. Something about him made him look strong and powerfull, almost like a alpha. She was about to shot off to go to her brother when she heard him and felt him nuzzle her. Smiling she nuzzled back and licked his cheek, "it is okay," she whispered and pressed the side of her body against him.

Isaac couldn't help but laugh when he heard her and shook his head. "School isn't important, in all truth I have graduated school at least twice and I know more then even the teachers do. So I am not worried about school and Aurora can take care of herself. If she knew that I left you she owuld bite me, litteraly." he said as he looked at her and squeezed her hand. "so I am not going to leave you, not now."

Lee let out a soft growl as he nuzzled her back. He looked around as he tried to get use to his new ability. "How do you stand this? The smells sounds and everything. And your bother stinks." He said as he smelt Isaac following the sent he could smell that stitch miles away. The smell made him want to fight though he didn't know why. He stopped as he waited for Aurora finding it hard to leave her even though he wasn't sure where he was going but he was going.


May smiled faintly as she heard him. "School is important." She was going to argue with him but deiced against it as she laid there. " I hope you wouldn't ever leave here. You looked happy here or leave me." She said at a whisper as she felt the medicine dripping through her veins as she closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep.

Aurora laughed when she heard him and pressed her side against him as she walked, "you learn to deal with the smell and sounds around everything." she said and then shook her head, "and my brother doesn't stink. Your just smelling the man on him. Since wolVes fight for there right to be alpha or mate. My brother is a bron alpha and you might be too so tha might be why you think he stinks." she said as she smiked at him. She then buried her nose in his fur and smelled, "but to me you smell wonderful." she said to him softly before licking behind his ear.

Isaac smirked when he heard her and shook his head, "I have three high school diplomas already, I think I dint need another." he said to her since the only real reason he was still in school was to watch over aurora. He the. Squeezed her hand when be heard her and found himself smiling. Gentky kissig her hand he whisperedto her before she fell asleep, "not going to leave you now." and he found he doubted that he woukd leave her. It would rip a hole in his heart.

Lee lessen to Aurora as he enjoyed her soft fur against his. He nuzzled her muzzles with his own as he grinned from her sudden licking of his ear. "So he's a alpha yea." He said sarcastically as he rolled his eyes hearing the mention of Isaac. "What to do now." He said out loud as he began to think about the next move. He needed to be with May but how could he face her in his new form.

May moved closer to Isaac in her sleep as she dreamed of running with him in the forest. She loved the feeling of the wind in her air as she ran at top speed knowing she was not match for Isaac at his full speed but still loved to run and watch him as she followed behind him.

Aurora smiled when he nuzzled her and she stayed as close to him as possible. She then nodded, "yes, he is a alpha but he doesn't care.
