(( i know, i'm just being a pain in the neck ^_^))

Alex walked Neva home with his arm around her shoulders. When they got back, he paused a moment to hg her and give her a deep kiss. He pressed his forehead against hers and said quietly and lovingly, "I love you Neva. I love you with all my heart." He then drew he close into another hug.

Neva smiled as she leaned against him as they walked home. She liked the feel of his arm around her shoulder, it felt like home to her. When they got home she felt his lip on hers and quickly she kised him back. She then looked into his eyes and smiled as she wrapped her arms around him, "and I love you, more then anything else." she said and kissed him quickly.

Alex grinned happily, and said, "I hope I never do anything to make you regret that." He suddenly felt guilty. All sorts of people hated him extremely, and here he was making Neva a part of that. He looked down at his toes and his shoulders sagged. He worried about how people would react to Neva if they found out. He pulled her into a deep embrace. He would think about this later.

Neva smiled when she heard him and was surprised when he pulled her into a tight hug. She stayed there and buried her face into his chest. She loved being held by him and never wanted to let go of him. After being away for a month she couldn't get enough of being with him.

Alex stood there with Neva in his arms for a while, then he stepped back a bit. "I suppose we should head inside." He said with a grin. when they walked in, however, Alex saw that somebody had been in there recently. He tensed up. Why would somebody break into his house? He didn't have anything of value to steal...... Alex got ready to fight. He didn't summon anything yet, but he dropped into a combat pose.

Neva nodded and slowly pulled away a little so that he could open the door. But when she saw the inside she wondered what happened right away and the got into a attack position. Yet as she looked around she saw no signs that the person was still here, "I think we are okay." she said softly, "no one is here"

"YOu sure?" Alex asked, but no sooner did the words come out of his mouth than somebody tackled him. Alex got ready to throw a punch, when he heard the laughing. It wasn't the malicious laughing of a gourp beating on a single person, but the laughing of a bunch of friends sharing a joke. Alex looked around, and saw that Joko and Sand storm had set up a welcome party. Alex began to stutter with surprise.

Neva was surprised when someone tackled Alex but then laugh when she saw who it was. She then saw Junko and smiled happily. "what are you guys doing here? I thought you were out on a mission or something." she said as she looked at htem and smiled.

Jocko grinned and replied, "yeah, technically, we should, so if you could keep this from command...." Alex laughed, and they all began to have a good time. He got acquainted with the two new guys, Dak, and Roach respectively, but after about a half an hour, they left again. Sadly, Alex didn't have long to enjoy his alone time with Neva. He was on duty again tomorrow. Alex Sat down on the couch with a sigh. He knew he'd been asking allot, ignoring missions for a whole month, but he would have liked to take the week off to spend time with Neva.

Neva smiled as they talked with everyone but once they left she walked over to Alex. Gently she sat down on the couch next to him and leaned against him. "do you have to go tomorrow?" she asked softly as she took his hand into hers.

Alex leaned gently into her and said, "Yeah. Sorry i won't be here tomorrow." He felt bad, leaving Neva home all alone like this, but he couldn't just say no anymore. He put his arm around her and gave her a kiss on the forehead saying, "I'll come home as soon as i can tomorrow. That's a promise."

Neva sighed when she heard him and smiled when she felt his arms around him. "good, I will hold you to that promise." she said softly and kissed him gently. She didn't want to let go of him but if he had to she would and she would wait for him.

Alex sat there for a while in Neva's embrace. He didn't want to get up, but it was getting a bit late. He put his other arm around her and said softly, "Sorry, but if i have to go to work at a reasonable hour, I should get to bed." Though after he had finished, he still didn't get up. He kissed her deeply and tenderly, then leaned his head against her shoulder. He was surprised at how worm and soft she was. It seemed that all would be right with the world so long as he could be here with her.

Neva sighed when she heard him and snuggled closer to him. THen when she felt his lips on her she smiled and couldn't help but kiss back lovingly. She snuggled closer to him and then whispered, "do you think I could sleep in your bed tonight? I dont want to be away from you." she said to him softly.

Alex blushed, then replied, softly, "Y-Yeah, It's okay. If you really want to." He was kind of shocked. He truly hadn't expected her to ask something like this. He smiled at her softly and said, "I think that would be nice." Then he froze. He felt like he'd said something he shouldn't have.

Neva smiled and nodded, "yes, I really want to." she said softly and kissed his cheek gently. SHe then smiled again, "yeah, it will be nice." she said softly and was glad she didn't have to leave him.

Alex gave a ghost of a smile, and picked Neva up. He carried her up the his room, and lay her in bed under the covers. He climbed into bed next to her, and whispered in her ear, "Night. I love you." He put his arms around her, and snuggled against her. However, he didn't fall asleep yet. He just lay there, holding Neva in his arms.

Neva smiled as he carried her to his room and snuggled under the covers when he climbed in. She then wraped her arms around him and kissed his cheek, "I love you too." she whispered and after a few minutes was fast asleep.

Alex lay there awake for half the night. He was absentmindedly stroking Neva's hair, while he thought about what the future would bring. He worried that he wouldn't make it back from this next mission. He hadn't told Neva this because he didn't want to worry her, but they were going after a terrorist group that had goverment backing, and was highly dangerous. Slowly he closed his eyes, and snuggled closer to Neva. He would do everything within his power to get home, but just in case he didn't he was going to ask somebody at base to look after her for him.

Neva smiled as he stroked her head and stayed close to him. She only wanted to be with him now that she had him in her life. He was the one thing she wanted to wake up to and fall asleep too.

In his dreams, Alex and Neva were together, and having fun. Crime had stopped, and all anybody wanted was to relax, and be with those they loved. Suddenly, though, a dark cloud appeared, and shadows began to spread everywhere. Demons began to slaughter people, and Alex's eyes snapped open. He was breathing heavily. He glanced around, and realized that it had just been a nightmare. Once his breathing slowed down, he snuggled against Neva again, and tried to go back to sleep. He was unable to, however, because he kept trying to figure out what had happened. He remembered Neva starting to transform, but then he'd woken up. He closed his eyes and tried to forget, but he couldn't. He just lay there.

Neva moved slightly when he woke up but stayed asleep. She stayed close to him and didn't move from his side and smiled when he snuggled against her.

Alex had just started to fall asleep, when his alarm went off. Alex hit the snooze, and swung his legs out the side. He sat there for a bit, and then stretched. He quickly changed into his uniform, and crossed over to Neva's side. Seeing she was still asleep, Alex smiled softly. He ben down, and kissed her tenderly on the lips before he left.
