"Good then." Shouki tilts Asher's face up so he can see him. "And you're still cute, no matter what you say." He then kisses Asher softly before nuzzling him a bit. As he feels Asher starting to freak out, he just clings to him tightly, wrapping himself around Asher. "It's okay. It'll be alright. She doesn't like me anyway....it's okay if she hates me....I guess.....since she'll never like me anyway. So it's okay if you can't hide it. Don't worry about it." He tries to smile reassuringly at him.

Asher smiles into Shouki shirt as he talks to him. He liked being this close to him and he didn't really want to leave. "I'm not cute." He said pouting for a moment before Shouki kisses him and he lets him and doesn't really do anything to break it. He was a bit disappointed when it ended, but he just hold on top him and smiles when he nuzzles into him. Asher doesn't like the fact that his mother and Shouki didn't get along. It upset him more than his parent divorce did. "I want you two to get along. I don't want you to fight." Asher didn't know why the two didn't get along. He knew they fought, but couldn't they stop. "I'll find a way to hide it from her." He didn't want her to be even more upset with Shouki than she already was.

"And when you pout....even more cute." Shouki chuckles a bit before nuzzling him a bit more. "I don't think that is possible really....no offense." He knows it has to be bothering Asher a bit that they don't. "But that's because of her keeping him around." Even though she knows what he did, she still kept him around. That just sounds wrong to him. Oh so very wrong. "And don't worry about if she finds out, alright?" He rubs Asher's ears a bit. "I'll deal with it either way."

"No I'm not." He said pouting, but this time he decided to do something to. He bit Shouki through his shirt, but not too hard he didn't want to hurt him. He leaned back when he said it wasn't possible. "Why can't it be?" He asks tilting his head a Shouki. He doesn't understand why they don't want to get along with each other. Asher looks down when he says why. They had already talked about this and it didn't go too well. He wasn't about to bring it up again with him. They weren't together now and while Asher liked it in a way he didn't in others. "You don't have to deal with it. She's my mother and I can deal with her." Asher didn't want people to do his things when he could do them. She was his mother and he wanted to deal with her. "I'll deal with her."

"Yes you are." Shouki chuckles a bit. "But maybe I'm just biased a bit." He squeaks and tries to pull away from the bite which fails magnificently. He whines softly as Asher looks down. "I'm sorry....but I can't agree with what she did. Keeping someone around that hurt her own child....that hurt you...." Shouki just can't like a person that's willing to do that. "What if he had time alone with you after your ears came back? He...." Shouki whines a bit more. Asher could've been killed by that man. "I'm sorry." Is all he can say with his ears drooping.

"You're bias." He said pouting at him. He didn't think he was cute so it must have been that Shouki was bias. He giggled at him when he squeaked. He liked that he had gotten him back at least a little bit from earlier. He didn't like all this talk about what happened when he was younger. He didn't remember it and he didn't like any of it that he was told. He knew his father did something wrong, but he left and didn't stay around. He must have known that something would have happened if he stayed and tried something. It wouldn't be like his mother not to do something to someone if they hurt him, but still. "She's my mother, I'm not going to hate her for it." Asher wouldn't ever be able to hate her really he may say it, but she was really the only one around to talk to him until Shouki came around. In his mind she was kind of like his friend too when she wasn't over bearing on him. "He left remember...He didn't even stay to really see me." Which made Asher sad in a way, but he didn't get hurt so that's something good. "...You didn't do anything wrong...."

Oh well, either way, you're cute to me." Shouki just smiles at him. "It's not funny. I bit you and you made noise. You bit me and I made noise. Same thing." He just wanted to make sure Asher understood why he doesn't particularly like his mother. "I never said you should hate her. I wouldn't ask that of you. She still cares....even if she made some dumb decisions." He's looking away a bit, his eyes watering that he's trying to hide. He's just thinking about the mother who left him. "I'm still sorry."

"I still don't think I'm cute." He smiles up at Shouki and nods. "Yes, it is funny." He likes that Shouki got a bit upset, but not too upset about him biting him. He thought it was cute and funny."I don't understand..." He really didn't understand what Shouki wanted him to do about it. He didn't know what to do to please anyone. He looks down for a minute and then looks up to notice Shouki. He frowned and leaned over to look at Shouki's face. He noticed his eye were watering and Asher frowned deeper. "I didn't mean to....I didn't..." He Asher shakes his head looking at the ground. He leans back from Shouki and looks at the ground. he doesn't know what to do now. He said something wrong or did something to upset Shouki. He felt horrible about it. "You didn't do anything. I'm the one making you cry, I should be sorry and I am."

"But you are to me....no matter what." Shouki smiles at him a bit. He isn't too upset at the biting...mainly just surprised that Asher actually bit him. He didn't think he'd ever do that. He just shakes his head a bit. "It's okay if you don't understand...you don't have to." And it isn't like there is anything Asher could do anyway. "You didn't do anything." He starts rubbing his eyes a bit. "These are just....from memories....I....don't even know if I want them anymore. They cause a lot of pain..." Remember those people, his parents, just hurts him a lot.

Asher just shakes his head a him giving up on the fight for now. He wasn't really getting anywhere the way he was going. Asher didn't know if he thought it was okay if he didn't understand why. He wanted to know why they wouldn't, but no one wanted to tell him or he wouldn't get it. He didn't know what to say to that so he just remained silent about it. "I made you remember and I upset you, so it's my fault." Asher said looking at the ground. He didn't think it was something Shouki just thought of just out of no where it must have been caused because of him. "So, I 'm sorry." He didn't know what Shouki was remembering so he didn't know what to say to make it better so he just looked down at the ground not wanting to make things worse than he had already done.

"I don't know how to explain it to you. I really don't." Shouki doesn't know how to explain it except with a certain L word. He doesn't want to say that...he doesn't want to scare Asher off. He wouldn't be able to take that at all. "No....it's not your fault." Shouki says shaking his head a bit. "I remember on my own plenty of times. Though....that has become less and less." Except around Asher....but that's only because he does have a family, right? There's not another reason. "Don't be....it isn't your fault. You didn't make them leave."

"That's okay." Asher said looking at the ground he didn't want to make Shouki explain something he couldn't. That wouldn't be fair and it wouldn't be nice of him. Asher shook his head when Shouki told him it wasn't his fault. It didn't really matter if he said that or not he didn't believe him. He thought it was his fault that he remembered it. "It's still my fault that you remembered now. I'm the one that caused this one." Asher wasn't going to give up on the fact that it was his fault. "I'm still sorry because I made you remember it." Asher looked down at the ground and fidgets with his hands. He doesn't know what to do because he doesn't thing Shouki is going to give up on his fight either.

"Still wish I could explain it better..." Then there would be less of a problem right? Then Asher could understand why they'll probably never get along. Though none of it is Asher's fault. He scoots over to Asher, leaning into him a bit. He whines softly. He wants a hug, but doesn't want to ask for it. Also, why is Asher so fidgety and all about this? Shouki just randomly thinks of something that makes him happily-if his wagging tail is a clue. "You can be my family now, right?" He nuzzles Asher a bit, tail wagging like mad.

"Don't worry about it." Asher says he isn't going to force anything that someone doesn't want to do or can't do. He knew he would most likely get confused and frustrated if he did. He couldn't seem understand half the things people told him recently. Asher looks up when he feels Shouki leaning into him. He gives him a little smile. Asher notices Shouki's tail beginning to wag and he tilts his head a bit. He didn't know what had changed, but he liked it better than the other mood. "I can...be your family now?" He says it once a bit shocked at the statement. He begins to smile and his tail starts to wag just like Shouki is. "I can be your family now!" He leans over and tackles Shouki smiling the whole time. His tail is wagging like crazy now.

Shouki still wishes he could explain it better. He does want Asher to understand, but for now, he lets it go. Maybe he'll figure out a better way sometime and be able to explain it to him. "Yep, you'll be my family now." He smiles at him as he randomly starts purring softly. He giggles a bit at being tackled before he wraps his arms around Asher hugging him tightly. "Glad you want to be family." He kisses Asher again. He's not quite willing to say he loves Asher....and that's why it hurt him when Asher went back to his mother...and he's finally realized it. So he's getting as close as he can to say it.

Asher likes the idea of Shouki and himself being family. His tail clearly shows it the way it is wagging back and forth extremely fast. "Yay! Now you won't be so sad, right?" Asher says smiling. He doesn't like when Shouki is sad or upset. It makes him feel and then he thinks it's his fault that Shouki is upset. "Why wouldn't I be happy about the?" Shouki asks tilting his head, but he didn't get a chance to talk again because Shouki kisses him. He is a bit shocked by the sudden kiss, but he just laughs when it's over. Asher smiles down at Shouki and leans into hug him. "You're my best friend!" Well, he was his only friend, but he still thought Shouki was the closest person to him other than his mother.

Shouki just smiles at Asher, his tail wagging a lot. "Long as you stay around." Unlike his other family who left him. He never wants to repeat that little episode in his entire lifetime. He chuckles a bit after the kiss, interrupting Asher's question....but it turns into a laugh as Asher starts laughing. "You're mine too." He leans over and kisses Asher again. "I wish we could be together more, but it's still good." He smiles at Asher. There's really nothing they can do to change the not seeing each other as much as Shouki would like at least.

"I have no where to go other than here, so I'm not leaving anytime soon." Asher didn't know where he could go even if he wanted to. The only other person he knew outside of his house and family was Shouki. So if he left he would go to Shouki before anyone else. Asher smiled some more and his tail went crazy when Shouki told him he was his best friend too. Asher isn't as shocked by Shouki's kiss this time and he kisses him back a little. "I do too, but I can only leave every so often." His mother was getting better at letting him have his freedom, but she still wasn't going to let him go completely. She liked to know where he was and have time with him. Asher rolls off Shouki and looks up at the sky. "When we're old we can live together and we'll see each other all the time." Asher liked that idea and he wished he could do that now, but he knew he couldn't. He seemed to be the only thing keeping them from doing that, but he didn't think he was ready to leave yet.

"Okay then....long as you try to warn me if you do go or something." Asher might not be surprised at the kiss, but Shouki is surprised at the kiss back and blushes. Asher's never kissed back before....and it makes him happy that he did this time-evident by how his tail is wagging like crazy....which he kind of tackles Asher, hugging and nuzzling him all excited like. "I know..." But he still wishes they could see each other more often though. When Asher says that part about them living together and all....Shouki just wraps himself around Asher, hugging him tightly and nuzzles him. "I like that idea a lot. I'd like to live with you."

"I think you will be one of the first people I will tell once I decide to leave." Asher smiled at Shouki nodding. He wasn't going to go anywhere, but if he did he would tell Shouki where and when he was leaving. Asher laughs at Shouki's blushing glad that he had made him do that. "You look cute when you blush, not me." He said poking him in the cheek with his finger and smiling at him. He really did think that Shouki was cute when he blushed and he didn't think that he was. Asher tail wags when Shouki tells him he liked that idea too. "Then that's what we will do!" Asher said hugging Shouki back. He really hoped that they could do that. Along with going to the Zoo he really wanted to do that too.

"I better be......I'd be lonely without you..." Shouki licks the finger before he puffs his cheeks. "I am not cute when I blush....unless you'll admit that you are when you blush." Fair trade off in Shouki's mind. He just hugs Asher tightly. "Yay!...and maybe we can live closer to the zoo so we can go whenever we want...and see demon pandas and dragons and other cool things like maybe snake feedings! That'd be cool!" Shouki's just grinning up at him. "Oooh....when do you want to go to the zoo?"

Asher laughs at Shouki. "I'd be lonely without you too." He says poking him again, but in the chest. He would be extremely lonely like he had been before he had met Shouki. He didn't want it to go back to being like that. "Yes, you are. End of story." He said sticking his tongue out at Shouki. He wasn't going to say he was cute in order for Shouki to agree with him. "Yay! Let's do that!" Asher said as his tail began to speed up at the thought of going to the zoo all the time with Shouki. He really wanted to do that. "When ever you and I can both go." He wasn't sure when that would be, but he wanted it to be sooner than later. He really wanted to see all of the animals. "I can't wait." He said leaning into Shouki.

Shouki makes a little noise at the poking. "No I'm not. Not until you admit you're cute. Until then, I'm not cute either." He sticks his tongue out a bit at Asher. Maturity. They have it. He starts chuckling at Asher's excitement. "Then we could go every time they add something new, we could go see it if we wanted. Or if we just wanted to go and see the pandas again...we could." He just hugs Asher over and close. "Um...well....when do you want to go? When can you go? We'll go then...?" Because Shouki can always just leave his stall closed for a day while they go to the zoo. It'd be a nice break.

Asher shook his head smiling. "Nuh uh, your still cute no matter what." He said smiling the whole time and then he sticks his own tongue out at him. "I want to see the dragons." Asher said pouting a bit, but then he smiled. "Unless the pandas really are demons." He liked the idea of demon pandas, but like the dragons too. He just really just wanted to see all the animals and he didn't care what they were. He just knew the few animals that he had been told. "I don't know when I can go." Asher said looking at the ground. He just wasn't sure when his mother would say yes or no to him leaving for a long time. He didn't want it to be long time, but it could have been. "Maybe next week..." He said hoping it could be then. He didn't know a day. "I'll come down to your stall."

"You know....I think I had this conversation before....except you were the cute one and wouldn't admit it..." Shouki says in a thoughtful like voice. "Yeah....I think we had this conversation before...and you're still cute when you pout." He giggles a bit at the demon thing. "You never know...they might be...masquerading as pandas. It's possible." He puffs his cheeks a bit as Asher doesn't know when he can go. "Well, just come early the day you want to go....so we can have plenty of time to stare at the animals we want to see....and maybe get to see them feeds big snakes and stuff!" Shouki's tail is wagging fast. "I wanna see that so bad!" He's always missed seeing it when he was able to go when he was younger.
