Mason growled when he heard her and felt her smack his hand. He then started to laugh and got in her face. "but here is the thing, you live in MY house, under MY roof so you live by MY rules and MY wants. So if I want you I can have you. If the council finds out they won't do anything since they won't find another spirit of thr night to replace me. So your stuck here." he said and forced a kiss on her lips before he pulled away and started to walk away. You could tell he had plans for them. They would learn to do as he said.

"Fuck you! Neither of us are your property! And if I report you as being MY job as her guardian then they will listen to me since I can promise you I am older and more experienced AND respected then you." Midnight snapped before turning to peak in on Vivian. Seeing that she was asleep Midnight turned and walked to the room next to Viv's and picked up a book she had been reading earlier hoping to calm herself before Viv awoke again.

Mason almsot laughed when he heard her and had a feeling that she was all words. he could have her if he wanted to, he was ten times more powerfull then her and he had to show her who was boss. he was the master of this house and he would make her what ever he wanted. What he wanted right now was to make one of those two his slave.

(so is he like going to come into her room or something? Or try to mess with Viv first?)

Midnight sighed as she read and wished greatly that Raven was still the spirit of the night... or at least was still aloud to be a spirit so he would still be here to help her and Viv out... she didn't like the look of this new guy and she was going to go talk to Derek sometime and the council to see if they could move in with Derek instead of living here with this man.

Mason smiled as he headed towards the room he had seen Midnight go in. She was going to pay for talking back to him and refusing to be his slave. Slowly he let the dark smoke glow under the door. He made it go over to her and slowly wrap it around her. He then squeezed it around her and smiled as he went inside. "your going to be my slave weather you like it or not." he said as he made the mist move closer to him. He then kissed her neck and ran a hand down her side.

Midnight just about jumped half out of her skin as she felt the shadows coming up around her and she struggled against them right away. She growled darkly at Mason and tried to move and thrash around hoping to either desturb his focus or hit him in some way. "GET OFF OF ME!" she hissed darkly as she then tried to head-but him or bite him... whichever was easier.

Mason smirked as she tried tomove away and just tighter the shadows around her so that shecouldt move much. "your mine.. Remember that." he growled to her as he slowky stuck a hand up her shirt. Gentky he ran a hand over her skin and liked the feel, but he had been with better. Gentky he kissed her neck and forced s kiss on her lips as he worked her shirt off. Nothing was going to stop him from having her.

Midnight growled at Mason and you could tell she hated him with a passion right now... well in general. She screamed in rage as she was kissed and then after a moment forced her mouth open enough that she could bite down on his lower lip hard and made him bleed. She held on until he started to pull away. Once her mouth was free she took a deep breath then screamed. "DEREK!" she screamed and knew that Derek would be there in a matter of minutes... she knew he was already on his way though that was just for a friendly visit... she only knew this because he said he would be back over later to check on the two girls.

Mason growled when she bit him and had to pull away. Blood ran down his lip as he listened to her scream. He then smached ber across the face, "know your place." he growled and ripped off her pants. He was planning on being nice but not anymore. Yet before he couod do anything someone picked him up from behind. Turning he saw dark eyes and Derek growled, "stay away from my girl." he then threw mason away. That broke his concentration enough that midnight was releaced and Derek took her I to his arms, "you okay? I cam as quickly as I could." he said and then glared as he watched mason slowly stagger to his feet and groan.

Midnight growled darkly at Mason as he ripped off her pants though she didn't have to stay too mad for long. She watched as Derek came up and threw Mason across the room. She walked over to her dresser quickly and pulled out some new clothes before walking over to Mason and kicking him hard in the crotch then growling at him. "That's for messing with me!" she growled then turned to Derek and hugged him. "Yeah... sorta he did hit me but I don't really care now..." she said softly as she looked up at Derek and smiled some "Thanks for coming... I warned him but he didn't listen." she said softly smirking slightly at that then hugging Derek a bit more and nuzzling him a bit.

Derek couldn't help but smirk as he watch mason groan in pain and curl up on the floor. He the. Wrapped his arms around her and held her close to him. "I will make sure he pays for hitting you." he said softly since he never wanted any of this to happen to her. He was just glad that he had gotten there in time. He then smirked, "most new spirits don't listen at first." he said as he looked down and smiked as she nuzzled him. He then kissed her cheek, "glad to see thst your all right." he said as he held her close to him and didn't really want to let go.

"Most jack asses don't listen." Midnight muttered then sighed some and looked around then glared at Mason before looking back at Derek and wondered what they were going to do now. She didn't want to stay here but she also knew that she couldn't leave Viv with this man and she knew that she would have to talk to the council about moving her... she hoped that they let her move in with Derek and Midnight since Midnight really didn't want to stay there... and she had a feeling Derek at least wouldn't want her to sleep there.

Derek glared at mason and pulled midnight closer to him. "I think I am going ti be staying here with you and viviyan for a little while." he said and glared at mason more. If he tried to make a move on either of them he was going to beat the crap out of him. He then picked up midnight and headed out of there. He did t want her anywhere near that spirit anymore. Once he fekt better he looked down at midnight. "I think I will have to talk to the cou cil about this. He found more like a threat then a better spirit." he said and looked back towards where mason was.

"I agree..." Midnight said softly when Derek mentioned talking to the council and hoped that they would listen and would take Mason out of power and keep him away from Viv and herself so he couldn't hurt either of them.

Derek then looked down at her, "and are you sure your not hurt?" he asked since he was still worried. If she was hurt he would feel like it was all his fault. He then picked her uo and looked her over once. She looked fine but he couldn't help but think that she looked beautiful. The want to say those words burned at his tounge but he bit it as he set her down, "yes, your nit hurt." he said and you could tell he was happy about thar.

"No I'm not I'm not hurt at all... only irritated really." Midnight said softly then smiled some at Derek and hugged him once more before sighing. "What are we going to do?" she whispered to him quietly so Mason wouldn't hear her and hoped that Derek would know what they could do since she surely didn't.

Derek smirked when he heard her and hugged her back, "I can believe that." he said to her softly and then thought for a moment. "we have to be careful. I will try and get the council on my side but I am not sure if they will listen." he said to her softly, "and I hope we find Raven soon." he said softly

"Me too..." Midnight said softly then sighed some and thought a bit. "Well... are you going to stay in the guest room... or... do you maybe want to stay in mine?" she blushed some looking away unsure of how he would react to that and worried that he would laugh at her or something.

Derek was surprised by the offer and could only stare at her for now. He then smiked at her, "if you don't mind I would like to stay with you." he said as he looked at her. He wanted ti stay as close to her as possible to make sure that he could protect her from anyone and anything.

Midnight blushed more but nodded some and hugged Derek again hiding her face in his chest clearly emberrassed that she had actually asked him that though at the same time she was happy that he said that he would stay with her and that made her feel better since she wouldn't be so worried about Mason coming in to try and mess with her.

Derek smiled when he saw her nod and quickly wrapped his arms around her. Without much though be kissed her head and said, "why don't we go check on viviyan." he said as he looked at her and held her close. As he looked at her hecouldnt help but want to kiss ber lips but knew he shouldn't.

Midnight blushed some hugging Derek back and loved the closeness of the two. She then looked up at him and nodded some and really wanted to kiss him but at the same time she didn't... for some reason she just didn't feel that it would be right too... maybe because he was the spirit of the earth and she was lowly compared to him...

Derek smiked as he looked at her and yet didn't really want to move. Slowly he kisses her cheek and smiles, "then let's go before mason gets to her." he said as he held her close and then lead her to viviyans room. He didn't really want to be away from her just yet and liked being close to her like this.

Midnight smiled some and blushed a little as she felt Derek kiss her cheek and him holding her close, it made her very happy to feel him so close. She then nodded some and walked into Viv's room with him and noticed that Vivian seemed to be having a bad dream. She knew that it was about Raven and figured that the nightmares wouldn't go away for a long time... at least until she could see him again and she hoped that was soon.

(yeah I'm still thinking in that one sorry XP and my idea was that what if Viv got like really really sick right before she found Raven and it was because of Mason? Like him trying to punish her or something? And like when she returns some of Raven's powers and memories then she like passes out and he has to get her to the council or something? I think it would be interesting X3 )

Derek frowned when he saw viviyan and shook his head. "maybe I should go down to earth later and see if I can find raven." he said since he knew that they needed him and viviyan needed him more then the rest.

On earth raven was just painting and it was getting late out. As he looked at his picture he sighed. It looked like someone, a fairy of some sorts and like someone he knew. He wasn't sure who it was but he knew it was time he slept. So he walked over to his bed yet the minute his eyes close his mindfound a dream. He was lost in a dark room yet as he walked he could see something. It was a glass door but on the other side was someone. It looked like the fairy he had just been painting and he reacheBut besides all of this I am doing very good.*d out to touch thr glass.
