Shine sighed softly before sitting down next to Raven and looked at him softly. "Okay... well you do know your name's Raven right? And if you don't that is your name... we're in a cave that is actually your home and that doesn't really look like a cave... I'm Shine, your girlfriend? I've been here with you for almost a year... we're spirits, I'm a star spirit and you used to be the spirit of the night... do you remember now?" she asked softly and really wished that he could keep his memories but didn't really mind reminding him... she just wondered sometimes what was wrong with him and why he couldn't really remember things... maybe the other girl that had been here would know... she had never met her though she just knew her by Midnight and Derek asking if she had been there yet.

Raven looked at her blankly as she explained to him and his mind started to get it. "I remember my name is raven but everything else about you andbeing a spirit is fogy." he said softly and then he got a far away look in his eye. That usually ment that he was forgetting something else. Probably something small like how to tie your shoes or use a fork. His eyes get came back to focus and he mummbled, "I need to walk." slowly he got to his feet and it was almost as if he was mindless. His body knew where to go since it became a daily walk to him. He was tryng to tether what was left of his mind and each day there was less to work eith. Derek came in right as he left and he looked at shine, "how is he doing?" he asked

"I think he's getting worse... he remembered his name at least but he forgot who I was, again, he forgot where he was, again... um short-term... he probably forgot that I sat that food down in front of him..." Shine sighed before looking off trying to think a bit on what to do. "It seems he knows where he's walking but he keeps forgetting where he is... do you have any idea why he's forgetting everything?" she asked Derek softly and really was curious as to why he kept forgetting things though never really tried to push him too much... sometimes it seemed to just make things worse.

Derek sighed and shook his head, "I haven't gotten a clue. This started when viviyan left but I think it started before that." he said as he looked at her. "and I think it isn't his mind when he walks, it is hid body. It remembers where it has been so it just follows that feeling. But I have been developing a theory. Ravens power hasn't been steady. He transferee some to viviyan and then mason kept some. I think maybe since all of his power isn't back that it is trying ti grab onto something to use to fill the gap. So it grabs onto hos memories yet it doesn't work long enough and the memories just dissappear. But this is just one of the many reasons." he said as he looked at her. "please make sure he eats, he is getting thiner and thiner each day."

"Well isn't Mason in the spirit prison? You could take Raven there and have the council return his powers? As for Viviyan I guess that parts kinda lost until either she comes back or someone finds her... Didn't he give like half of his life-force to her or something? Maybe that's it?" Shine offered then nodded some. "I'll make sure he eats... I don't know why he's getting thinner... I make sure he eats and everything like that..." she said softly but really wasn't sure.... why would Viv have such a big effect on him though? It would make sense if it was that half of his life force but otherwise how could her being gone have anything to do with this?

Derek nodded, "I could but I fear if I took him out of here he woukd get lost. It is better just to keep him here for now." he said as henlooked at her. "and I suppose it could be viviyan that is doing this. He gave everything for that girl and if he remembered why he woukd probabky do it again." he said as he looked at her. He then sighed and looked at the floor, "if viviyan comes back please don't push her away frm raven. She might be the onky one who can save him. He loved her more then anything else and I think he still does." he said as henlooked at her.

"Why did she leave then? I mean... it doesn't really make sense to me... he gave everything for her... why would she just leave?" Shine asked curiously still really confused as to why Viv would just leave with no real reason... she didn't see why anyone would really.

Derek sighed when he heard her and looked down, "even I dint know the whole story on that one. All I managed to get out of him before he forgot about that was that she had to to protect us." he said as he looked at shine. "sometimes protecting the ones you love is better then staying with them." he said as he looked at her. Inthe mean time raven had wondered his way to his room and was staring that the rose. It was important to him even though he coukdnt remember why and always looked at it.

"So no one knows where she is or why she left... well really it sounds like the best bet you would have is going to the council and taking Raven with you and having them bring in Mason and transfer the energy... it would probably be best that way he'll have at least some of his energy back and his body doesn't try to use up anymore of his memories... they will come back won't they? Once he has his powers back?" Shine asked a bit worriedly and hoped that Raven wouldn't loose his memories forever... that wouldn't be good at all.

Slowly as Raven watched the rose a peddle fell from it and landed softly on the table and it had seemed to have started wilting in the last few days.... or hours really...

When raven saw a peddle fall off a panic in him set off. It was like nothing he had felt before and he gentky took the rose into his hands. He knew this rose was important but coukdnt remembering why. Gently picking up the rose he ran out of that room. It took him a few times but he found thr kitchen and the people I side. A tear ran down his cheek and he looked like a little kid with something broken and not knowing what to do. "it's dieing." he said softly.

Derek nodded, "I think that might be best, but hopefully my theory is correct. If it isn't I am nit sure what else to do." he said and then shook his head sadly. "there is no sure answer if he will get his memory back but we have to hope." he said and then heard paniced feet. When raven came in he was surprised but knew that things weren't getting better. No recognition in his eyes showed when he looked at him and he sounded like a little kid who just found a dead bird and wasn't sure what to do. When he saw the rose he friwned, "that is what happens to roses."

"Um... Derek? He's had that rose for at least a year you do know that right?" Shine said softly then looked at the rose closely and realized that it was glowing. "That's a spirit flower... but... only nature spirits can make those...." she gasped since she hadn't really payed too much attention to the flower before... She wasn't really sure what was so special about it before but now she was curious.

Derek leaned closer to get a look and smiked when he heard shine. "viviyan probabky made that before she left him and If it I'd dieing it means one of two things." he said as he liked at shine. "it means she is either dieing or she is coming here." he said and smiled. Raven was trying to listen but everythig went in one ear and then out the other. He then stared down and two feelings shot threw him, panic and exitment.

"Which do you think it means though?" Shine asked and felt a little irritation at the thought of Viv coming back but at the same time she kinda hoped that she was... if only to give Raven his powers back... she actually loved Raven though she knew that if Viv came back and he remembered her then he would just throw Shine away like she was yesterdays news... and she really didn't want that.

Derek looked at Shine and shrugged, "I am not sure, but we should find out as soon as the lst peddle falls." he said as he looked at her and knew she wasn't sure if this was good or not. Gently he placed at Hand on shine's shoulder, "remember this, this is still your home no matter what the outcome is." he said as he smiled at her. Raven continued to stare down at the rose and looked completley brain dead.

Shine nodded a bit then looked at Raven seeing the look in his eyes. "I guess I'm okay with whatever's best for him..." she said softly then noticed another petal falling to the ground and wondered weather Viv was coming close or dieing... she supposed they would find out in a few days though...

After a few days the rose had only one measly petal on it and even though slowly began to break off. After awhile a knock could be heard at the door that was at the front of the cave and you could hear the sound of someone breathing rather heavily behind the door.

(sorry I wasn't sure who to have answer the door XP wasn't sure if it should be Raven, Derek, Midnight, or shine XP )

Derek was surprised when he heard the knock on the door and though it was someone from the council here to see how Raven was doing. Heading over to the door he opened and and could only stare at who it was. He then frowned and held out a hand, "get inside." he said as he looked at her

((I thought derek since shine would probably be tending to Raven))

"Derek..." Viv said softly when she saw Derek and her eyes were soft and weak as she stood there and couldn't even move as she held her arm and you could see blood everywhere on her and most of it was coming from her. She was actually in human form and her energy was running way low... she didn't even have the energy to move anymore.

Derek wrapped his arms around her and right away his energy started to surround her, healing her as best as it could. "dont worry, everything is going to be fine." he said and then headed to one of hte empy guest bedrooms. He layed her down and watched over her as he used his power to make sure that she was healing.

After a few minutes Viv's own energy was starting to heal her as well but she was still feeling weak as she looked up at Derek. "W-where's Raven? I'm sorry I left... I just.... I really hurt him... I had to leave... I had to get better control over my powers so I wouldn't hurt him again..." she said quietly then looked around slightly and wondered a little why Derek hadn't have just taken her back to her old room...

Derek nodded as he looked at her and continued to help her heal. "it is okay bt just to say things aren't the same. Things havne't been the same since you dissappeared and.. well you will see for yourself but I am warning you now Raven isn't the same anymore and we have someone new living with us." he said as he looked at her and hoped she didn't do anything stupid when she saw Shine.

(so are we still going to have it that Shine and Raven have a little intamate moment or something right when Viv comes in?)

Viv listened to Derek then stared at him for a second unsure. "What do you mean?" she asked and was a little worried... had Raven moved on? Had he just pushed her to the side and left her? Did he not think she would be back?

((yeah but just to say raven will probably have no idea what is going on))

Derek looked at her and then shook her head, "you will see for yourself but I am warning you raven isn't... With us in a way." he said as he tried to find the nicest way to out it. "now then I am sure you will like to see him and hopefully seeing you will help." he saod as he looked at her and held out a hand.

(hm... good point so maybe Shine is just sitting in there trying to talk to him or something?)

"O-okay..." Viv said softly as she took Derek's hand letting him help her up. She hoped that Raven was okay and that everything would be okay and that he still loved her... though she did wonder who this new person was and why they were living here now... and what was wrong with Raven if Derek said that he wasn't really there... but she was sure that he wasn't dead... was he in a coma or something?
