Just great, why wouldn't that old man understand that she could protect herself. She didn't need any bodyguard. But he wouldn't listen to her. So the she was, sitting on the small stairs in front of the throne. Her silky blond hair was tied back with and ribbon and reached past her shoulder blades. Her head was resting on her hand and her emerald green eyes were closed as she'd fallen asleep. Nickola could be quite stubborn if she wanted. But so could her father, so often, it was no use.

The princess blinked as one of the servants came to wake her as the new guard was arriving. "Right, just send her here." Nickola muttered, rubbing her eyes.
