Age: 30 Occupation: Priest Bio: Jun's always been a faithful and loyal man who prays every single day of his life not just for the town's bountiful harvest but for safety, as well, for the people who lives in it. He may be loyal and faithful but he could also be deadly and harsh especially when he sees anyone, be it a bandit or a demon, giving hardships to his comrades. Love has never interested him for he believes that if he'll do, he won't come to put his first love - the image he prays to since he had turned seven - first. There is that one snake he hasn't killed yet because of its ability to talk to him. He does plan to sacrifice it before the rainfall, which is six months from hereon in. Personality: Jun may appear serious but he occasionally gives a small smile here and there. He's pretty friendly despite his uptight look. Though his eyes, which are different in color has scared a lot of people before, he has gained their trust by saving them countless of times from demons and bandits that come to town. |

When he is left on his own without guidance he is known to get into a bit of trouble in the human world. He likes to play, but doesn't always see the impact in what happens when he plays sometimes. Personality: Shiki isn't all that serious about his job as the God of water. He often is seen not really paying close attention to what is happening on Earth. He likes to play more than he likes to work and he is often yelled at for that. |
It were one of those days again. Jun got up in his usual time, got ready for the ritual and prayed again to the god of water for abundance of food for his people and the safety it should provide should his people go and get lost out to sea. He knelt by the altar, offered his prayers and even went as far as to giving a part of himself, yet again, to the god. With his hands clasped together and his head bowed down, he let his eyes slide shut as he prayed silently. The man cleared his mind and he tried not to think of anything else.
But, somehow, that snake he had kept in the wine cellar slipped into his mind. He needed to feed it after this and he honestly didn't want to. The snake knew too much about his own want and selfish demands. It can read minds and the priest needed a way to put up a barrier and try and ignore the snake. [[ No problem! And, yeah. It was the time of the day that Shiki usually began to hear prays from the people, who worshiped him for some reason. He wasn't a huge fan of his job and he tried to block them out for the most part. They just annoyed him when he wanted peace and quiet. Though that wasn't really an option for him when his Grandfather was around. He made sure Shiki did his job by at least listening and granting some wishes. Today was no different and Shiki was beginning to get a little annoyed. So, like his Grandfather said he would grant a wish, but he had a twist today for him. He was going to go to the human realm for himself.
It didn't really take more of a thought for him to do so and with that he was in the human realm. He could hear the shout of his Grandfather telling him to come back, but he blocked him out. Shiki looked around a bit and found the boy, who had been praying to him. Though for the life of him he couldn't remember what he wanted. The last thing he remembered hearing was about a snake. "Did you want something?" Shiki said as he brushed off his kimono that he wore. |
