Frost nodded. "Well, Flare isn't as po-pixie as I am, but she'll help me out." He sighed and kissed her head. "We will try, Kara. I can't garauntee anything, but we will try." He sat there with the pixie child in his lap and Kara curled up to him. He didn't know how to explain without getting her angry. "Well....I wanted to see how much you cared for them. If you'd do it or not."

Kara decided to just take that answer "alright... that makes sense I guess. You found out pretty quick, didn't you?" she mused. "Awwwww... you three are so cute! Like a little family!" a nurse observed "but, if you're feeling up to it, do you think you could help me?" she asked. Kara nodded, though her face was red, and stood up "she'll probably be fine if you put her down, so long as she can find you when she wakes up... which shouldn't be too hard inn the tent" Kara observed.

Frost nodded and smiled to Kara. He glanced at the nurse and smiled a little. It was sort of funny that she saw it that way. He watched her leave, but kept holding Sweet Pea. For some reason, he didn't want to put her down. She was just so adorable. He kissed her head softly and gently rocked her.

Kara giggled as she began doing the tasks the nurse assigned her "you are so hooked. I don't blame you... I get that way all the time. She's the sweetest little thing. I love all of the pixies, but there's a reason I'm her mother in every possible way except biological" she commented and walked up behind him, wrapping her arms around his neck "but you know... now that I think of it... I feel like we are a family and she's our new baby... if that doesn't totally creep you out" she commented as she gazed down at the little girl.

Frost smiled and nodded. "I totally am." Then he smiled and looked at her as she wrapped her arms around his neck. "No. That doesn't creep me out at all." He kissed her cheek and looked at the girl again.

Kara closed her eyes and nuzzled her face into his hair. Wow... he smelled divine. She pressed a quick kiss to his ear "does it bother you that I've been introducing you as my friend? I mean... we haven't actually... decided what our relationship was. Obviously it's something fairly serious but..."she asked, trailing off at the end, her hands moving up so she could give him a shoulder rub, eventually turning it into a gentle massage.

Frost smiled and let her do what she wanted, then shrugged. "Well, I don't mind. We just met after all. We've been through alot, but you may introduce me as anything you like." He chuckled softly. He didn't mind the shoulder massage.

Oooooooh... muscles. "So we're just... friends, is that it? I call you that because i don't know what else to call you, but I certainly don't think that we're just friends. Would you agree?" she asked, resting her chin on his head. Oh boy... she caught a sexy one. Yum. Better yet... he absolutely adored Sweet Pea. He's a keeper.

Frost chuckled softly. "Well. How about....sweethearts?" He smiled and kissed her cheek again. She was so beautiful, even more so when she smiled. She seemed happy again, so he was happy. He wouldn't be here if it wasn't for her. He was grateful in a way.

Kara smiled and turned his face until she could plant a kiss on his lips "I like that... it works for us" she commented before she kissed him again. She pulled away at the sound of a tiny giggle. She looked down at the source and saw Sweet Pea giggling. "Have you been awake this whole time?" she asked. "No, mommy. Just a minute or so. Is Frost my daddy, then?" she asked, snuggling up to Frost. Kara blushed and looked at Frost "you make that call, babe" she told him.

Frost smiled and kissed her back, then chuckled when he heard giggling. He hugged her gently when she snuggled against him. "Well...do you want me to be your daddy?" He smiled softly down at the little girl. She was so sweet and cute. He didn't think he'd hate being her father. He would actually enjoy it.

Sweet Pea giggled and cheered, "yes!!" she cheered, a bright smile on her face. Kara smiled and kissed Frost's cheek "well... I guess that answers that question" she mumbled and turned to Sweet Pea "sweetheart, I need to go help around the kitchen. Frost can stay here, though, alright?" she informed her "okay mommy" she agreed and picked up her doll so she could introduce her to her new daddy. "This is Anna. She can do anything!" she said and began showing off everything about her doll.

Frost smiled down at the child. She was just so cute, it touched his heart that the small thing wanted him to be her father. He didn't think he'd deserved it, but he nodded to her. He gently stopped Kara and kissed her before she left, then looked back at Sweet Pea. He was the very interested parent in the silly little things kids did.

"Mommy gave me Anna last year for my birfday" Sweet Pea bragged and began explaining the other things that Anna could do. "Do you want to play wif me?" she asked as she flew her doll around, making appropriate noises. "Sweet Pea, please keep the noise down, there are others trying to sleep. In fact, that's what you should be doing right now" a nurse chided. Sweet Pea Hung her head "Sowy ma'am" was her timid reply.

Frost chuckled softly and kissed Sweet Pea on the head. "I'll play with you later, all right?"

Sweet Pea hugged Frost around his neck and kissed his cheek "bye bye, daddy" she said and snuggled under her blanket so she could go back to sleep. "Why don't you head to the kitchen, Frost? The pixies like to stick around, especially on collection days" the nurse suggested.

Frost hugged her back and nodded. "Goodnight, Sweet Pea." He looked over at the nurse and nodded. He stood and kissed Sweet Pea on the cheek and tucked her in more. Then stood and walked off to the kitchen to help.

Kara looked up and smiled brightly when Frost walked in. "Hey, is she asleep again?" she asked as she walked up to him to give him a hug and a kiss on the cheek. "What did you think of Anna? She never puts her down" she commented and pulled him back to the kitchen "Come on, help me clean up lunch" she invited.

Kara smiled "she was always terrified whenever I had to go home, so I found a doll that looked a bit like me. When I gave it to her, I told her that I put my heart and soul into her. Anna will do anything that Sweet Pea needs her to do, from protecting her from the collections by making her run fast, to just giving her a hug" she explained.

Frost looked at her and smiled. "That's very creative of you." He was sort of amazed, he'd had never thought of that.

Kara smiled and shrugged "well... I couldn't give her what she wanted, so... I was shopping one day, I saw the doll, and the idea hit me" she explained as she dried the dishes that Frost was washing "Do you think we should've let Void know where we are? Or will he not care?" she asked.

Kara snorted "yes, because everything is my fault. Never mind that I'm likely to do it if I could/provoked... I've been wanting to get the collectors ever since I met Sweet Pea... the only thing holding me back is the law. But yes... of course everything's my fault, and I definitely will kill you all the same. I threatened you last night so it's possible" she teased.

Frost nodded with a mock serious expression. "Yes. You will kill me sooner or later."
