Two sisters were made orphans when there parents were killed. Neither saw the actual killers cause they were asleep when it happened. They now wonder the streets, trying to find somewhere safe. Little do they know, but their parent's murderers are after them now because they are powerful just like their parents and they plan to take them and use their powers. The girls don't know about their powers yet. Will they find out in time? will this end the sisters? join and find out.

Bio: Lyra is somewhat the opposite of her sister. She always was the rebellious child, dying her hair and acting like a tomboy. However, she loves her sister beyond belief and is extremely gentle with her. Lyra has an odd obsession with fire, like it calls out to her. She also claims to feel emotions and warnings in the wind. Lyra enjoys nature, but she also enjoys complete solitude. For the most part, she's quite violent and tough. She mainly wears black, specifically the black jacket with a faux fur collar that her parents bought her as a sign of accepting her rebellious stage.

Angela walked down the street beside her sister. The sun had gone down less than thirty minutes ago. She didn't like dark that much unless it was by the water or plants. She had on her Green tank top with her light blue jacket on and her blue jeans. her blue hair was in a ponytail. She looked at her sister, who was only a bit taller than her. "We should find somewhere to stay for the night Lyra" she said.

Sighing, Lyra walked down the city streets with Angela, her younger sister. It was getting too dark to walk around, and Angela's suggestion was definitely plausible. "Yeah. But we don't have any money, at this point, so hotels and motels are out of the question." Looking around frantically, the raven spotted only one place to stay -- the park. It had a little tent with benches and stuff. "There," Lyra said curtly, taking Angela's hand and walking into the park. Her eyes were shifting from side to side, looking for any hooligans that want to jump them. It had already happened to her once a few years ago, and she was going to make sure it wasn't going to happen again.

"ok. i just hope we dont get attack" she said.

( -_- my grandma is seriously ping me off. srry but she is. I took my dog out and she ran away and my grandma dont give a crap and didnt even spend long looking and now she is saying she didnt run away but is ped off at me for getting on to her. oh so now its my fault she hates my dog so she isnt going to help-. i want my weenie dog back!!!!!!!!)

"I don't think we will..." Lyra mumbled, dragging Angela to a bench. When they both sat down, Lyra pulled her sister's head into her lap. "Sleep, little sis," she whispered, softly singing the lullaby their mother used to sing. Caressing her hair, she looked up into the night sky morosely.

Angela fell asleep to the lullabye their mother had sung to them. She dreamt of water and plants.

Lyra fell asleep soon after her sister, her breathing steady.
However, she awoke with a light yelp several hours later, a terrible nightmare haunting her. She saw her parents, each held at gunpoint, shadows covering them. One man told them, "If you don't give them up, we'll shoot you." When her parents didn't answer, the gun went off, and that was when Lyra woke up. What.... the heck...

Angela was still asleep. She was sleeping soundly like always. but her sisters yelp woke her up. "whats wrong Lyra?" she asked.

Gasping for air, Lyra shook her head gently. "N-Nothing. Nothing. Just a stupid nightmare." Patting Angela's head, she started singing again, hoping she would sleep once again.

angela fell back to sleep. sh dreamt of waves and grass again

Staying up all night, Lyra gazed at the sky, the darkness seeming to seep in her veins, making her sleepier.
When the sun broke through the horizon, Lyra shook Angela awake and mumbled, "It's time to start walking again. We'll get breakfast and then try to see if I can find our uncle."

Angela yawned as she woke up. She felt ready to walk. "did you go back to sleep?" she asked.

"Ah... no. I did not." Rubbing her eyes, Lyra stood up and stretched. "I wanted to make sure we wouldn't be attacked," she lied. Angela didn't have to know about the dream. It was odd enough already. Why would anyone want to kill our parents? Shit, I hate this all.

Angela stood up. "lets get going then. im starving" she smiled.

Sighing, Lyra took her sisters and hand led her to a vendor across the street. They bought some rice snacks and ate them on their way to their uncle's. "I hope we can find them... Hey, do you sense anything strange?"

"you mean that eriley feeling you get when you think you are being watched? no" she said.

Lyra sighed and nodded her head, hoping that no one was following them. You never knew -- and because of that nightmare, she was especially paranoid.
It was only when the sisters reached an empty street that Lyra's stomach started to churn. Suddenly, she became aware of all the shadows around them, almost closing in on them.

"sis how close are we to uncle's?" she asked.

(i gots an idea. the uncle is the one who hired the people to kill the parents cause he was wanting the power.

Quickly, Lyra shushed her sister and started to walk faster. "Not far. But that's exactly why I'm worrying. I started feeling strange right when we got close. I'm afraid we're going to have to take a detour!" Grabbing her sister's hand, she broke into a full sprint away from that street, running away from the shadows that seemed to reach out to try and kidnap them.

Angela ran along side her almost being dragged by her.

Lyra stopped when they were a few blocks away . "C'mon, you had to feel that weird presence! I was freaking out!"

"i didn't feel anything" she said.

"I must be going insane..." Lyra shivered.

there is a large house at the end of the street we were own. "Didn't mom nd dad say uncle lived in a big house?" she asked.
