Bio:Artemis is a young angel. She wants to protect people she cares about. A lot of people make fun of her because she looks different and dresses differently then most angels up in heaven.
Personality: Artemis is outgoing, energetic but she can sometimes be very sensitive, self conscious, and shelters herself away from others.

Jake sat in his class waiting for it to end. It was particularly boring today and all he really wanted to do was go home. He knew everything the teacher was saying and was pretty sure he could pass the test tomorrow. When the bell rang, the teacher had a gps on all of them and told them to teleport to their homes for a grade. Jake easily did as he was told and was soon right in his living room. He took off the device and went to the fridge. Ugh today would be so boring. His parents were out of town and his brother decided to stay at a friends. That meant he had the house to himself for two whole weeks. He got some strawberries and ate them while he watched tv. There was nothing on. He decided to take a walk around his neighborhood. He had never even been around his neighborhood yet. He had been living here for two months. He only lived at home for three months out of the year. The rest of the time he lived in a dorm at school. He hated that his parents had chosen to go on vacation
During the time he was home, but they weren't really close so he tried not to let it bother him.

Today was the day Artemis went to earth. She was excited but also terrified. Not most humans could see her. Only the ones that she had been assigned a mission to. When she had arrived at earth it was right when Jake was taking a walk. There was a bright light nearby. Only the ones who could see it saw how bright it was. Anyone would be drawn to it and investigate where the light was coming from and how. A girl with dark pink short hair was there in the light. She was the one creating the light. Her light pink wings spreading across out from her back as some of the loose feathers from her wings fell to the ground. She opened her beautiful teal eyes. Her skin was as pale as ice but she was beautiful.

Jake stared at the odd girl. "Hello? Who are you?!" he looked closely. She had wings!

"I'm Artemis..wait you can see me?" She asked. "Then you must be the boy I was assigned to. I'm your angel." She said with a smile. The girl said very odd things but she was very cute even though she wasn't exactly human. She put her hand out as if she was waiting for some sort of hand shake from the boy as she tilted her head. She thought the human world was quite odd. It was different from the world she lived on that's for sure.

Jake gave her an odd look. "My..Angel? What does that mean?" he certainly hoped that didn't mean she was his garud or something. She looked to sweet to harm a fly. He shook her hand gingerly. Her skim was so cold. He began walking again. "Come on. We can go back to my house to talk and get some food."

"Being your angel means I am in a way like a guardian angel. I'm suppose to protect you from any sort of danger." she said smiling at him. When He shook her hand, she felt how warm his skin was compared to how cold hers was. As he told her they would get something to eat She nodded. "Okay." She said as she followed him. "Your the only one who can see me." she told him walking alongside of him.

He frowned and wouldn't speak until he was in the house. "Then I'd better not talk to you out in public. People might think I'm insane." he grabbed a large pot and put some soup on to cook. She had felt so cold, he had figured he should fix something warm for dinner.

She nodded. "Yeah, that's probably a good idea." She said softly. She looked around in his house. It felt so warm inside. "Everything is so different from where I come from compared to earth." She said to herself in a whisper-like tone. She folded her arms over her chest. Jake would notice that she had an odd chain on her neck that looked almost that it was broken and that it looked as if she was imprisoned.

He looked at her and frowned. "What Is the chain for?" he looked puzzled. "Does it need to be removed?" he wondered if she had been, or was a slave of someone.

"No its sort of a reminder to myself." She told him. "I know its kinda stupid. But back on earth a lot happened up there that I wish that didn't." She said softly. Obviously something seriously bad happened up there. She sat down at the table not wanting to speak the unspeakable but if she had to she would.

He frowned. "What happened?" she looked very sad. It made him feel sad too. It was weird how much he cared. He'd only just met her. She was a sweet angel. She was also very pretty.

"I killed someone..." she said softly. "I was tricked. It was an illusion demon. He tricked me. I thought one of the angels were the murderer who killed my parents." She told him. "After that incident i was locked up for many years."

He frowned. "Poor dear.." he got the soup and gave her some.

She took the soup and began eating it. Even now she felt guilty for her crimes she had committed. She didn't mean to hurt anyone. "Everyone up where I live thinks I'm a monster. I have no friends no lover no one. I'm always alone and I don't like to be alone." She told him after taking a few bites of her soup.

He frowned. "I'm so sorry. I'll be your friend and I'll never think badly of you." he determined he would be a good friend noatyer what it took.

She smiled. "thank you. Your very sweet." she said with a smile eating the rest of her food. "most people would probably think I'm a freak in this world if others were able to see me. Strangely you didn't freak out like most people do. Why is that?"

He shrugged. "Im a bit if a freak myself..kind of. I'm a Mage. I've seen weirder people than you."

"Really!?"She asked. she was very surprised hearing he was a mage. "I thought i was assigned to a human. I didn't sense you were a mage at all. Maybe I'm weaker then I thought from being locked up." she said looking at her pale ice hands a bit sighing.

He laughed. "No, no you can't seems it because I'm half human. The Mage part can't be sensed."

"I see. Well that makes perfect sense." She said with a smile. After she finished her soup she got up putting her bowl into the sink. "The soup was very good thank you very much." She said bowing politely.

"Thanks. You wanna watch a movie or something?" he wondered if she liked movies. He had a few really good ones on DVD and even more on pay per view.

"Sure that sounds great!" She exclaimed. She felt excited just by doing anything with Jake. He made her very happy. She got up and sat on the couch waiting for Jake.

Jake ordered the newest pirates of the carribean movie off the tv and had brought popcorn. He sat kind of close to Artemis.
