Bio Blaire has lived with the witches her entire life never really seeing much of the outside world. It wasn't until the elders called a meeting was she even allowed to leave the place of her birth. She wasn't told what was going on, but that didn't bother her she was more concerned with seeing the world for the first time.
She is still a novice witch with much to learn, but one of her specialties is nature magic. She can turn into an animal of her choosing, though that is particularly hard for her and often it never turns out exactly as she wants. And the ability to control the elements though if the element is to much for her she will loose control.

Bio:Luna has lived in a small village in the edge of the forest of Nanir. She is a little on the wild side. Luna never paid much attion to the rules and is always in some kind of trouble but as the chiefs daughter she is able to get away with almost anything. She has the ability to transform into any animal she wishs as well acomunicate with all animals.

Luna paced the hallway the tips of her hair fluttering from the movement. She hated being inside she loved the outdoors she felt at home there. But thats not what was really bothering her. She was worried, her father had told her the main source of magic way gone from the world and that the world was dying. Thats why she was here. Soon all magic would be gone forever. Luna love life she loved her forest and all of her animal friends. Yet it was all dying and noone seemed to be doing anything about it.She couldn't stand here waiting for all these races to come to a decision that would take time and time wasn't a luxary they had at the moment.

Blaire muttered a soft spell that would give her the o so needed keener hearing at the moment. It would be easier to listen in on what was going on if the elders didn’t speak in such soft voices, it was like they didn’t want her to overhear them. She knew things were going from bad to worse, could feel it in her bones, or more exactly in the magic bonds she had with the earth. The magic was leeching out she didn’t know where it was going, but it frightened her all the same. The more frail and elderly of the witches were starting to feel the effects strongly. They were dying, and soon the witches would lose them, woman who had so much wisdom to share. But what would happen if the magic left the earth entirely? Would they all die all those connected to the magic? Or would they be left dried husks? She hunkered down listening as the elders discussed it, all those words to say just one thing, they weren’t going to do anything. Not a damn thing to stop their world from dying, well if they wouldn’t Blaire would she wasn’t going to let this happen without at least trying to stop it

"Thats it!" Luna said in a soft tone. She didn't like to raise her voice for any reason it was simply against her nature. She was tired of waiting on other people to decide what to do.This was her life and her magic in jepordy and she was going to fix it even if it killed her.

Luna stopped paceing and looked out the window as the sun was setting.The night was approaching fast.As the blue sun became even with the land and the moon begaun to shine.Luna colapsed to the floor in a heap, the pain was worse tonight than the previous one. Tears rooled down her face as her own body began to contort from human to something diffrent entirely.She opened her mouth to screm but instead started coughing up blood as her face elongated into a wolf like snout. Her entire body erupted into snow white fur except where her tribal marks were that stayed blood red. Luna curled into a ball and wept her fox like white tail with a red tip now showing from under her derss.She wasn't human nor was she animal insted she was a unique combonation of the two.

Blaire hummed a soft nonsense tune her mind already made up as to what she would do, if the elders were not going to take action and get to the bottom of what was happening to their world then she would. Even if that meant going about it alone, crawling out from her hiding spot behind a potted bush she checked to make sure the coast was clear. It was, seeing her chance she ran on bare light feet nearly floating down the hallway. The sun was setting, she would wait till morning to go the sooner she left the better.

Not paying attention to where she was going she nearly tripped over a small form on the ground, her arms flew out connecting with the wall to stop herself from falling. It looked like a wolf in a dress, kneeling down to inspect it she saw that it was a wolf like thing in a dress. Wolf like because there were some distinctly human things about it, distorted it looked. ”How odd” she mumbled reaching out a tentative hand she stroked the soft fur

Luna lay blood staining her muzzle.Shaking with the little aftershocks of pain.Her eyes closed as slowly the pain subsides.The amount of pain it takes to transform a sure sign the her father was speaking the truth.there was a time when transforming was as easy as breathing for Luna.

Luna felt a light touch on her fur. Startled her eyes flew open and she jumped back forgetting where she was for a moment She acidently smacked her head asinst the wall. With frightened eyes she looked at the young girl she assumed had touched her.While reaching up with a paw to rub the knot forming on the back side of her head.

Blaire let out a startled squeak as the motionless furry thing on the ground shot up, she stumbled back and ended up falling on her rear. The thing itself smacked its poor head against the wall, ”oh I say are you alright? That did not look like it felt good” she didn’t wonder if the thing understood her, or even if it did if it could talk back to her. Though she did wonder about the odd markings on it, and the dress it wore. Was it a new species? She had never seen anything like it before, it looked like a cross between a human and an animal. A flint of a memory tugged at the edges of her thoughts but she couldn’t quite remember it. Then suddenly it hit her, of course she must be one who could turn into animals at will, maybe it was the magic leaving that had affected her so strangely. ”Are you a were?”

Luna watched as the other girl fell backwards.After rubbing the back of her head just a bit more she pulled her paw and looked at it there was no blood so that was good. ”oh I say are you alright? That did not look like it felt good" The other girl asked.Followed by”Are you a were?” Luna used her paw to to wipe the blood from her muzzle."I'll live, and yes i am a were." she replied. Slowly luna got to her hind feet. She stood just the same as she normaly would in her humman form on her two rear feet even tough they were actualy paws at the moment.She offered her front paw to the girl on the floor."My name is Luna Ruka."she said"And you are a witch right?"

A dainty, if a paw could be dainty, paw was extended to her Blaire took it shaking it lightly. This was her first time being so close to a were, they really were interesting creatures that was for sure. Blaire herself could turn into an animal but with a spell not at will like they could, and personally Blaire had always had problems with the whole transforming thing, she would try to become a fox and end up becoming a cat. ”I’m Blaire it’s very nice to meet you Luna. I’m a witch… a novice witch to be precise I’m still learning. I think it’s amazing how you guys can shift back and forth between animals with such ease. I always have problems with it. Oh I hope I’m not talking to much I tend to babble when I’m nervous… Not that you make me nervous… but.. oh.. I’ll just stop talking now” she said with a little chuckle, meeting new people always made her nervous and babbly.

Luna smiled as the little witch went babbleing about. She thought it was cute that the little witch Blair babbeled."I'ts nothing really." Luna replied tenatively. "I've only heard some stories about witches. I'm sorry but i don't know as much about your people as you do about mine." Her tail twitched back and forth ever so gracefuly."Why are you here?If you don't mind me asking.would you like to walk out to the garden with me?" Tough beind inside bothered her in her human for in her halfway form she couldn't hardly stand it.

”Me I’m here because a few of our elder witches, my guardian included, was called to the meeting to discuss what has been happening to our world. Surely you’ve been feeling the leeching away of the magic. One’s so connected to the earth as us do. All of this is worrying me” while she talked the pair had made their way outside, walking along the path. The moon shone brightly giving the earth a false peaceful look, but underneath it all something odd was going on. If one looked closely here and there they could see evidence of it, a flower that had been full of life only the other day lay wilted and dying. A tree whose leaves were once full lay limp and sickly. Even the moon itself held an eerie sort of glow to it. ”Luna, our elders aren’t doing anything to stop this” Blaire stopped in the middle of the path kneeling down to finger a dead flower whose stem snapped under the slight pressure. It was a sad sight.

Luna listened silently as Blair told her why she was here. It was the same reason she was here the problem with the magic leaving the world." Yes, I have noticed that magic is leaving." She said a sad look upon her face.

Luna looked at the moon shining brightly above her it wasn't a full moon tonight. The full moon wasn't for another couple days. Luna was born on the night of the new moon and that was part of the reason why she transformed every night.But only part oh the reason why.

"I've noticed. Can you keep a secret?" Luna asked as she took the wilted flower into her paw. Luna closed her eyes and exhaled ever so gently over the flower. Luna's hair fluttered as if it was being blown by the wind, and her fur ruffled as she tapped into her magic. When Luna opened her eyes the once wilted flower was now a vibrant red fully in bloom.Luna extended the flower to Blair.

Blaire took the flower from Luna and slipped it into her hair, it stood out brightly against Luna’s blond hair. It was clear that all the flower needed was a little magic and it would become beautiful and vibrant once again. She knelt down picking up another wilted flower, with a few soft words of her own the flower became a bright blue, blue as the sky on a cloudless day, this she held out to Luna like a peace offering. ”Everyone has noticed but no one will do anything about it, none of the elders will send anyone to the source to find out… I don’t think they even know where the source of all the magic is, I don’t think anyone does” her tone was thoughtful, if they did find the source what would be there?

”I can keep a secret, who would I tell anyway?” it was her way of saying she wouldn’t say a word to anyone.

Luna smiled as Blair used her magic to bring a beautiful blue flower back to life."Yes i've noticed that myself.I'm sick of waiting for them to do nothing." she said.Luna took the flower Blair offered her lifting it to her nose she sniffed it.The flower had a sweet but soothing smell to it. Cradeling the flower to her chest she started walking again.

Luna stopped in the middle of the garden and leaned over toward Blair.Just a hairs breath from Blair's face. Luna wispered "I'm leavin first thing after the sun comes up in the morning. To do something very dangerous and complety against all the rules.You could come along with me if you like. Though you must know theres no turnig back."

Holding out her hands as she walked she whispered soft spells under her breath bringing dead flowers back into bloom, if it had been daylight the array of colors would have been more beautiful to the eye as it was they still had a beauty to them. Luna stopped in the middle of the newly blooming garden the blue flower still cradled in her paws. Blaire didn’t know if the elders had drawn the meeting to a close and honestly it didn’t matter they wouldn’t do a damn thing anyway.

Her breath caught as Luna leaned in close but she caught herself pretty quickly. ”I can’t stand standing idly by and watching and feeling the earth die, the elders are doing nothing and if they won’t then I guess it’s up to you and me, we set off tomorrow at first light right. Well then we had better head back and pack up” there was no question about if Blaire would join her or not, she would. Taking the blue flower she fixed it near the red one in Luna’s hair, it was a pretty contrast.

Luna was excited to finaly be doing something.She was especialy glad blair had decided to come along with her .Luna didn't think of her self as a strong person and she was sure that she wouldn't be able to do this on her own even tough she knew it needed to be done.A smile fixed on her face she dissapered into the gathering mist.

She reached her room and geabed a coupled of diffrent dresses and threw them into the ba on her beddigging trew her dersser she gathered the bread she had been sneaking from dinner every eving since she had gotten here. Reaching into the bottem of her closet she grabed a sachuel full of jerkey strips and tossed it into the bad as well.She then walked over to the vanity. She grabbed her hair brush and ran it trough her hair one more time before it went into the bag as well.She walked over to the bed and zipped up her bag it.reaching under her bed she grabbed an long bundle wrapped in cloth and set it next to her bag.Luna aranged her pilllows under the covers on her bed to look as if she were sleeping then sliped out threw the window and back to the garden. The sun was sure to be rising soon and Luna wanted be be long away from here when it did.

The girls parted ways each going to get ready for the long trip that lay before them, Blaire hummed a soft tune as clothes floated past her disappearing into a bag that should have been stuffed already but an enlargement spell had taken care of that. Simple spells she was good at but others were a tad bit harder, transforming or elemental magic were hard for her.
Heading down to the kitchens she swiped some food while the help slept, there was no knowing just how long this trip would be and it would be best if they were ready. Heading back upstairs with the armload of food she added that to the pack as well, the last thing she added was her book of spells should she need it.
By the time Blaire finished packing dawn was starting to make an appearance, locking her door from the inside she ran out to the garden, Luna was already there waiting for her. ”Sorry I’m late, now let’s get going before anyone realizes we’re gone” tugging her cloaks hood up over her head she led the way out of the garden starting off in a random direction because honestly she had no clue where they were going.

Luna smiled as she saw Blair aproach. She was late but they didn't have time to discuess that now.Luna walked behind Blair."You've got to be able to travel faster than this. I need to be alot further away than this." Luna said an edge of panic to her voice.

The sun was starting to shine trough the trees and the pain was comming more frequently.It wouldn't be long before she started to change back to her human for. If she wasn't far enough away the guards asigned to help block some of her pain would know she was on the run and would be able to find he and then all this would be done for nothing."Come on we have got to hurry" Luna said as she took off runnig at full speed . It was strange to think she could run as fast as she was.She couldn't wait for Blair all she could do was hope that she would be able to find a way to catch up.

Blaire watched as Luna took off ahead of her running at a speed she knew she couldn’t keep up with in her human form that is, maybe if she was flying but well she hadn’t mastered that magic yet and most of the time ended up getting hurt. Now didn’t seem the time to practice. Dropping her bag she pointed to it and said a spell that made it smaller, small enough so that a bird could carry it, she couldn’t really take the time to focus right now, so when she tried to turn into a falcon she ended up as a robin instead. Close enough at least she had wings, gripping the backpack between her strong claws she flew off after Luna circling higher looking for her. She caught sight of her running fast through the woods, flapping hard she kept pace with the running Luna.

They moved farther and farther away from the meeting place, still with no ideas where they were going. By the time Luna slowed her break neck pace they had many miles between them and the meeting place. Blaire dove coming in to land beside Luna and change back into her human form. Shaking off the feathers she changed the bag back to its regular size as well and slung it over her shoulder. "Well that was fun" she said with a little laugh

By the time Blair had caught up with Luna she had already made the pain ful transion back to her human form. "I'm sorry for runnig off and leaving you like that." Luna said between heavy breaths. Luna sat on the ground and looked around. With no certian direction to head in Luna decided it was time for a slight break.

Luna reached into her bag and pulled out a wrinked, tatted scroll of paper that appeared to be blank when she unrolled it. Staring at the scroll for a few moments waiting. Nothing was happening but Luna still continued to stare at the paper.
