Meme curled up to Will and whimpered a bit when she smelled the Kitsune meat and her ears pinned down to her head. When he set her down she moved and crawled into his lap and curled up feeling safer here then on the table or on another chair. She didn't like the smell of the meat and she didn't like feeling weak and helpless so she wanted to stay as close to Will as possible.

The king soon came in with his wife and they both sat in their usual seats before both turned to their son. "Your father told me that you have a new pet William... is this true? And if so where is it?" Will's mother asked softly as she looked at her son and couldn't believe that he was taking care of a Kitsune but she supposed that he should have whatever made him happy.

Will smirked when he watched her crawl into his lap and he gently stroked her head. He had a feeling that thr sent of her own kinds meat made her sick. In truth it made him sick too since he was eating something that others had loved. When he heard bis parents come in he watched them carefully and wondered what they were going to do to him. "yes, I do have a pet but I would consider her my companion rather then my pet. And right now she is in my lap trying to stay safe." he said as he gently stroked her head and hoped she calmed down.

"Will? Why would you care so much for such a creature? They are considered a nuisance and demons, you know this right?" Will's mother asked and just couldn't understand why he would want to take care of such a creature... why would anyone want to for that matter?

Meme shivered some and whimpered some when she heard Will's mother and his father frowned really wishing that he would just get a cage and leave the darn thing in his room instead of bringing it with him.

Will continued to stroke her head and sighed when he heard his mother. Shaking his head he poked at his mother, "I know that but i still care. We are all living beings and we all should have the right to live here." he said as he looked at his mother and continued to stroke her head. When he saw his fathers face he sighed and took Meme into his arms. Standing up he looked at the two, "it seems I have lost my appatite." he said as he kept her close to him and moved towards the door. He just didn't understand whythey thought everything was beneath them. They were all alive and had equal rights to be here

Will's parents frowned and his mother looked to his father and nudged him to say something but he just shook his head deciding that he would just let his son do as he so wished for now... later he would probably have a talk with him though.

Meme calmed more when she felt herself being pulled into Will's arms and she looked up at him cocking her head a bit and whining at him softly as though she were either asking why they were leaving or why they weren't going to eat... the second was more likely since she even looked hungry.... she had been on the run for a few days with her family before he had found her stuck in that hole with those vines.

Will nodded when he heard meme and then glared at his parents, "come on, I know where the food is." he said as he turned his back to his parents. He headed straight for the kitchen and smiled as he saw the cook. "hey, Jimmy, do you think you can get some food for the both of us?" He asked as he stroked Meme's head. Jimmy looked over at them and smiled, "sure, be a sec." he said and started to move around the kitchen. After five minutes there was a plate of vegetables for Will and a plate of nice cooked fish with some berries on the side. "enjoy you two, but be carefull. Your parents aren't happy with you." he said

Meme purred happily as she petted and rubbed her head up against Will seeming to be enjoying this very much. She then whined some when she saw the fish and barries and was clearly very hungry. Though she quieted when she heard Jimmy say that Will's parents were mad at him which made her shiver and whimper some.

Will sighed when he heard jimmy and nodded, "yeah, I will be. I already know that I am not letting this little girl out of my sight." he said as he gently set Meme down infront of the plate and looked down at her. "eat up, jimmy is the best cook out of everyone in the town." he said as he started to eat his own food. Jimmy laughed and looked at Will, "your talking crazy, princey, you speak to that thing like it has a mind of its own." he said and Will aighed when he heard him. "they do, they aren't stupid." he said and continued to eat.

Meme yipped happily when she was sat in front of the food and started to eat right away putting her small paw on the fish so it wouldn't move when she pulled at the meat while it was in her mouth. She then let go and barked softly giving a small growl at what Jimmy said and it was clear that she understood and did not like that as her fur stood on end a bit clearly not liking being called stupid.

Jimmy jumped back when Meme barked and growled at him. Will just laughed and gently stroked Meme to try and calm her down. "as you can tell she is very smart." he said and jimmy cursed, moving furhter away from her. "I think I might agree with your parents on this one, princy. Her kind are demons and she should be locked up." he said and with in a second Will grabbed him by his neck and glared at him, "she is no demon, she is a equal." he said and Jimmy nodded and was more scared of Will then Meme. He then let go of Jimmy and went back to eating.

Meme growled darkly and barked at Jimmy clearly HATING that he was calling her a demon. She then slowly calmed some when he backed away and Will came back and started eating. She also then started eating again and was soon done with both but was looking around until she saw a sink and then she walked over and stood on her hind legs and pawed at the doors in from of the sink since she wasn't tall enough to jump up there. She looked at Will and whined softly seeming to want something.... probably something to drink since she also hadn't had that in awhile.

Will smiled as he finished uo but kept a eyes on Jimmy. If he agreed with his parents he wasn't sure if he could trust him as muh as he would like to. He then watched as she jumped over to the sink and started to whine and whimper. Walked over he got a goal and filled it with some water before setting it town for her. "you do know that there kind is going to be killed till there are no more." he heard jimmy say and will glared at him. "I will make sure that doesn't happen. For if we were they would we want this
ti happen to us?" he asked as henlooked down at meme.

Meme purred a bit as Will sat the bowl of water down in front of her and she started to lap up the water happily... until she heard Jimmy that is. She whimpered some when she heard him say that all of her kind were going to be killed and she looked up at Will almost sadly. She then finished lapping up some more water before going up to Will and standing on her hind legs pawing at his pants softly and using them to stretch a bit though really just wanted to be picked up now since she was tired and she really just wanted to get away from everyone... though she couldn't leave his side or she knew his father would probably spot her and take her to kill her.

Will smiled as he looked down at meme and gently picked her up into his arms. "I am going to make sure that her kind survives." he said as he held her close and then headed out of there with her. He headed down the hall as he stroked her head and smiled when he got to his room. Gently he layed her down in the bed before laying down besides her and gently comfortable. "let's get some sleep, I think we both need it." he said as he gently stroked her head and hoped that things got better in the morning.

Meme purred easily when she was picked up and cuddled close to Will as he carried her to his room. She then looked at him and listened to him as he spoke and set her down on the bed before crawling in next to her. She curled up to him closely and purred softly as she nuzzled him a bit before starting to fall asleep. She was quite content here though she was still torn up over the loss of her family and that was shown later that night as she started to twitch and move a bit whimpering and crying in her sleep from the horrible memories of watching her family get slaughtered one by one.

Will smiled when he felt her snuggle up close to him and gently stroked her head. Soon she was fast asleep and he wrapped a arm around her. He then closed his eyes and he slowly started to fall asleep. But soon he woke up to hearing Meme whinning and whimpering. Opening his eyes he saw her crying out and he wrapped her up into his arms. Gently he stroked her head and whispered, "Meme, everything is okay." he said as he held her close.

Meme whimpered for a few more minutes before slowly waking up and looking at Will then whined softly before calming again and nuzzling him a bit. 'don't leave me' her small voice came again and it seemed it only came up whenever she was upset since it didn't happen often at all.

Will held her close and was surprised when he heard the voice again. He held her closer to him and stroked her head gently, "dont worry, I wont leave you, I proimse. I am here for you." he whispered to her as he gently set her in his lap and gently stroked her head.

Meme slowly calmed down and curled up in Will's lap closing her eyes again and giving a small yawn before she started to drift off again. Before she could get too far into sleep though she heard something and started looking around thinking that it was footsteps but that confused her since it was night time... who would be up at this time?

Will smiled when he saw her relax in his lap and continued to stroke her head. Leaning back he closed his eyes and let himself relax. Though when he felt Meme move he opened his eyes and heard something. He heard foot steps. Quickly he grabbed a knife he had and moved Meme onto the bed. "stay." he said as he slid off the bed and moved to the wall. Heading to the door he listened to see where hte steps where coming from and going.

(crap... I can't think of what I was going to have come up T~T I was thinking his father or his mother but now I'm not sure what I would have them do or say XP )

((I was thnking that it could be someone from a different kingdom who wants him dead or maybe someone in the village who was hoping to protect thr kitsune. But when he or she heard about them bein killed decide to take revenge on the royal family))
